The just received mine (in my usual size fit great) they are cool, but the little disappointing by the ground feeling which isn't as good as some other brand like groundies or xeroshoes
Yes I specifically mentioned on the video that these soles have "a little more toughness, a little more structure than some other shoes..." (around the 4:40-5:00 mark). If you want the thinnest and most flexible, there are other brands I would recommend, and neither (the newer) Groundies, nor Xero would really make my list. Nonetheless, for what these are, they're really nice shoes, and vegan which is important to some people.
Thanks for the review Josh, would love to see JOA barefoot and Ohne Project reviewed on here soon. Also I can't help but feel you could wear the shoes for longer before talking about them.
Yes in the best of all possible worlds, I would come back and do reviews later, like after wearing them 6 months or a year.. but then it would be old information, new shoe models come out, etc.. I feel you. Plus, I do have a normal full time job, kids/family, and a lot on my plate, so I'm doing the best I can to do them when I receive the shoes and trying to provide reviews of somewhat current stuff. As it is right now, I have like 7 or 8 new pairs of shoes ready to review so I'm way behind. Thanks for the comments though. I've never head of JOA or Ohne Project shoes.. shoot me some links when you have a moment, or I'll try to remember to look them up.
I just received my pair of Splay 2.0 slip ons today. They feel amazing. The most volume barefoot slip on shoe I’ve ever worn. Five stars. I hope you review them soon. Thanks

I got them and they're amazing. In terms of quality material it's sublime and in terms of aesthetic I think they're best there is out there. I'll surely buy another pair.
Hello what about the size ? It is your usual size ? On the website they said it s normal size, but on the chart they are longer and a lot larger than my groundies which fit well for me. I don't have wild feet, so I m wondering if i should take one size smaller
I would say trace your feet. Measure the length and width. Then look at their chart and choose whichever size will give you around 10-13mm extra length.. but that's me. I hate giving sizing advice because I don't want to get the blame if you get a size that doesn't fit the way you want it to. Your best bet is probably to measure your feet and contact their customer service and let them advise you.
