@@djmars1983 what? They do a lot of things appart from hyping up bumblebee. If you are referring to Ironwood's turn, he is a really sympathetic character so if they were trying to create an anty Trumsp perspective they did it really poorly.

As for my thoughts, I thought RWBY was boned after Volume 3. That one raised the stakes and left the serious scrambling to utilize the massive cast it developed. Monty would not have saved this. That said, the decline wouldn't have been so sharp or terminal.
Now he will never gain his revenge.

This feels like a "Not like this... Not like this" moment, you wanted RWBY to be over because it fell off and you didn't want to see it continuing to be bad, but in reality what we wanted was a redemption arc, for it to get better and now we won't even get a bad ending to complain about.
I hope someone gets the rights down the line and we get a remake thats awesome

It’s nice to see how even though you don’t like RWBY anymore, you seem to be somewhat sad at its possible cancellation and the death of Rooster Teeth. Although the keyword is “somewhat” as they did kind of deserve it due to low quality releases and terrible working conditions.

They might have grown into an unpleasant person, but you can still remember them as the person they once were.

Hopefully it won’t hurt more people and actually inspire some more people to be better than what it ended up being
It’s sad but with any hope this will lead to some of their bigger properties (mainly rwby) being picked up by another studio that’s better able to handle it. Hopefully it can lead to improvements or maybe even the anime adaptations becoming the main continuity with its own version of the story that goes in its own (hopefully better) direction

Joking and memes aside, it really is tragic that this is how Rooster Teeth, one of the foundational pillars of internet culture, goes out.
The writing has been on the wall for years now, but it doesn't make me feel any better to finally see it actually happen. It's like seeing a family dog be put to sleep, or an elderly grandparent finally wither away. On one hand, you're torn up over losing them and remembering all the memories and experiences you had. On the other, you're just glad that the suffering is finally done and over.
