This video is very informative. My tank has neon tetras, black skirt tetras, and albino cory doras. They all get along pretty well, except during feeding time, the black skirt tetras are very voracious and hoard the food. The neons will hide until they can get whatever is left, but I also put more in so they can have some. The cory doras are absolutely adorable!

I love the black skirts, such underrated fish. So chill but so fast.
It helps when I use messy foods so it gets everywhere and everyone has a bite, then I just make sure the snails are taking care of the crumbs.

Excellent details. Our tenant runaway leaving 30L Fish tank with mix types of live 8 fishes. After one week they left all of them are alive! The tank & water condition was very dirty. I wanted to take care of them by replacing the water first & find food. I have No knowledge of fish keeping. I was searching for what types of fish these are & what type of water fresh, or seawater required. I watch this video & found there are 5 fishes looks like same as in this video. Now I have changed the fresh water & purchase suitable food for them. Hope they live well. Thank you very much.

I already have my tanks, only one is a community tank, the others are a pea puffer only and a vampire crab paludarium.
In my community tank I have a bristle nose pleco, seven harlequin rasboras (5 normal plus 2 blue), an african butterfly fish and 3 (I'll buy another 4) black neon tetras, I choose the black ones because they grow bigger so the butterfly fish can't think that they're food (he eats only insects that I breed so he should be able to distinguish them but I like to go safe) and because I like "unusual" fish.
So even if I have a long experience with aquariums I found this video very interesting, fun and entertaining to watch, I'm subscribed

I bought a complete community fish tank off Facebook marketplace. Imagine my surprise when it got to me with a dozen(ish) guppies, a tiger barb, a neon yellow glofish, a yellow tang, a 6 inch long rainbow shark and a 12 inch long common pleco. 😮😮😮. This tank is a nightmare.😢😢😢. I wish the person who created this mess had watched your video. BTW this is a 75 gallon tank, so it is not easy to just move. It also had not been cleaned for months.... Oh the smell.... 😢😢😢

This is exactly what I needed just as I am about to start this hobby, can you also mention the ideal social requirement/ amount of fish of each type you mentioned when combining these fish together? Example 6 guppies, 7 tetras ?

    • @AquariumStoreDepot

My mollies are nibbling the plants almost always. I am scared they will spoil the full grown plants after introducing mollies to the aquarium. What could be the cause?. I tried giving some cucumber slices…but they are not interested in that. How can I resolve the issue without removing from the tank?.
