This video is very informative. My tank has neon tetras, black skirt tetras, and albino cory doras. They all get along pretty well, except during feeding time, the black skirt tetras are very voracious and hoard the food. The neons will hide until they can get whatever is left, but I also put more in so they can have some. The cory doras are absolutely adorable!
Love it :). Thanks for your comment
I love the black skirts, such underrated fish. So chill but so fast.
It helps when I use messy foods so it gets everywhere and everyone has a bite, then I just make sure the snails are taking care of the crumbs.
I was able to discover significant information in this video that I was previously unaware of. I hope your channel releases more videos like this.

You are welcome :)
I already have my tanks, only one is a community tank, the others are a pea puffer only and a vampire crab paludarium.
In my community tank I have a bristle nose pleco, seven harlequin rasboras (5 normal plus 2 blue), an african butterfly fish and 3 (I'll buy another 4) black neon tetras, I choose the black ones because they grow bigger so the butterfly fish can't think that they're food (he eats only insects that I breed so he should be able to distinguish them but I like to go safe) and because I like "unusual" fish.
So even if I have a long experience with aquariums I found this video very interesting, fun and entertaining to watch, I'm subscribed
Thank you for your comment 😊. Much appreciated. Aquariums can definitely be addicting. I try my hardest to only stick with one 😅
Koi angel fish are the shit lol
Great video bro…very informative
The blue gourami is one of the most popular community fish,, amazaing and intresting video, amazing work appreciate your work keep it up bro...
My dwarf blue gourami is aggressive toward my tetras!
thanks for make our life easier , your explaining is really aggressive and cool to understand
Actually, bristle nose plecos Can grow up to around 5 inches
The video increases my love for Fish more than usual love. Thank you for sharing

My favorite fish is the angel fish
I have never seen such a beautiful aquarium video before. I feel very good watching the video.and thank you so much❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
The glass cats used to be colored or dyed in the pet stores over here
Now my mind is set about freshwater fish. Thanks for this best explained video about freshwater fish. Your video is really amazing
Glad it was helpful!
Love your videos, can u make one with lifespan included too??
What a great suggestion. Yes that would be a great idea - I will put it on the list. I need to draft the blog post first before I make the video. Stay tuned for it!
This is exactly what I needed just as I am about to start this hobby, can you also mention the ideal social requirement/ amount of fish of each type you mentioned when combining these fish together? Example 6 guppies, 7 tetras ?
For most schooling fish you will want at least 6 - though the more the better
@@AquariumStoreDepot so if the tank handles it, 6 of each type of these mentioned fish should be fine right together ?
I have most of these in my tank
That’s awesome 😎
Im wanting a beta as my centerpiece in my 30 gallon. What fish woukd pair well? I would also like a bottom feeder and a schooling fish.
For bottom feeders - Corydoras. For schooling fish try black neons
Very informative video I got to the point information on community tank.
One doubt is ther please let me know can I setup a community tank with artificial plants or is it compulsory to have real plants
You can setup a community tank with artificial plants. Shouldn’t be a problem
I personally don’t think swordtails are peaceful fish because my one swordtail male attacked my betta fish
Very good video! Very informative but you didn't show what the purple fish is at the beginning and end. Please could you tell me what is called? Thank you.
Hi there. The purple fish is a glofish. It's a glofish tetra. You can purchase them at local fish stores or have them dropshipped from the wholesaler from Petco online
sir want your help , if I put molly , guppi , beta fish together in a aquarium can they breed without any problem!
Hi there. You will need breeding tanks for the fry to survive. Mollies are a better fit for bettas but get a not sailfin Molly
Glass's cat fish so sensitive
Freshwater video but the first fish lives on the bottom of the ocean......
Cories? They live in freshwater…
Cherry barbs I would not consider peaceful they can lash out at times
What about angel fish? You show them in the video in a community tank but I’ve had several people saying it’s not good as the angel fish are quite aggressive and can nip other fish.
They aren’t as straightforward as these other fish. It can be pulled off with the correct tank mates. There is a video on this channel all about angelfish tank mates that go over it 😊
Wait you are supposed to keep the tanks warm? I didn’t even know that was a thing
I started my tank with a beta fish rip he lasted like two years
Some fish like ram cichlids and bettas prefer warmer temperatures
Are albino bichirs peaceful monster fish?
Bichirs will eat anything small enough to fit in their mouths. They are best with larger fish like Clown Loaches. If the fish is big enough it shouldn’t be a problem unless the fish is very aggressive
All the fish you mentioned in this video can u keep them all together?
Not all of them are compatible with each other. Raspboras and small tetras can - but large tetras can be nippy. It’s best to stick to a species for example multiple small raspbora types in a mixed school in a larger tank.
Neon tetra
Sword tails 1 male few females
Cherry barbs
Can we keep glofish tetras with guppies?
Yes you can although there may be a bit of fin nipping but should be just fine
Cherry barbs might be the best fish out there, I will never stop shilling them.
Guppy fish
I thought Ram Cichlid is very aggressive
In smaller tanks and alone they can be. I’m groups and in larger tanks it is usually not an issue
All these fish can be kept together
Not all of them can be kept together. Check the parameter requires as some prefer different temperatures and pH. They are considered community fish through as they are generally peacefully
