This is not the second aircraft museum in India, there is the Museum of Eastern Air Command, Shillong and also largest aircraft museum is there present at Palam, Delhi, which is maintained by the Indian Air Force. Apart from these, there are some other aircraft museums as well, like the Naval Aviation Museum in Bogmalo, Goa and HAL Museum in Bangalore. Yes, it was very much needed to have a museum alike such in Kolkata, since ages, where people and especially our children must see the war trophies of valour with using which our armed forces have earned fame and victory in Wars. Also, it will add to inspiration for our children to be a part of our armed forces and serve the nation someday. ❤
