Thanks James. I especially like the use of plywood to make the relief as it simulates terrain lines on a map. I'm also from Washington state, so I appreciate the choice of subject.
Love the tutorial....Question...is it possible to drape a street map over the top of the terrain model? if so that would be a great follow-up tutorial. love your content...keep it coming...
@@JamesDeanDesigns thank you, definitely going to try it out myself. Had 2 people ask if can do a middle earth 3d map, misty mountain is a start for sure. James, keep up the good work! Big fan and student of yours here.
I suspect this needs to be done in Maker+. I don't have much knowledge of creating things from JPEGs but a lot of people in the Facebook Carveco usergroup do

Excellent demonstration! Thank you
Cheers 😁👍
Thanks for the demo, I've been keen to try this👍
Hope it helps
Thank you for making this! Carveco is quite a bit behind in online tutorials compared to Vectric software.
Slightly ironic given Carveco are older and more established than Vectric....but I'm here to fill that gap 😁
Can we do the misty mountains? Is there a file?
Guessing so but from a quick Google, there appears to be multiple "misty mountains" around the world so you'll just need to be specific

Is this possible to do with easel instead of carveco?
Yes, if you have the paid version of Easel but the results will not be as good because Easel doesn't account for tapered ball nose bits
Luckily I was grandfathered in and get the few free pro days a month.
Can you help me face designing of coin from jpeg image
