    The best tip that got me consequitive HSPU reps was partial reps. I always lost balance at the top part of the HSPU. When training partial reps you can really get a lot of volume in the top part and become sufficient in this ROM.

    I think it is really key with all these balancing moves to keep your eyes on a target in front of your hands. It really keeps you steady.

    Great video - any advice regarding mind-muscle connection when performing that? I recently found it different in my head and the feeling, to do a negative by driving the shoulders forward (thinking of shoulders being used more) and keeping forearms perpendicular to the ground, vs going down and controlling the descent using a lot more triceps by pressing hard. Feels like 2 different techniques almost

      Jeremy N. Mhm I never had this feeling. But in the end it doesn’t make a difference on the way to the hspu. I wouldnt hang up on such details

    Is 30 seconds straight handstand considered the minimum requirement for freestanding hspu or is 60 sec optimal?

    • @MichaSchulz
      @MichaSchulz  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      basically 10-20s is sufficient.
