This is an awesome explanation of a very misunderstood topic.
I can't believe with so much great information and such a well put together video no comments andso far only 263 subscribers.
However I do need to ask the million dollar question which is not answered in this great video.
What is the best satellite phone for expended remote area outback overland travel here in Oz?
Based on all of the criteria, which one is going to save my life if I'm broken down halfway down the canning or the Simpson or the anne beadell?
Which one will have the ruggedness and the durability and the coverage to get me in contact with someone should I be stranded and unable to get myself going?
That's what I really want to know.
Thank you for the great video btw

I'm not in Australia however I do have a sat phone of my own and would love to utilize it. Haven't had the opportunity to use it yet (bought for emergencies). I have an iridium.

If it’s not in the iridium network you wasted your money
