First Gear Trucks (READ DESCRIPTION!)

- Here are my first gear trucks! Hope you like the video. Most of these trucks have been made by me. Like the Curbtender and Scorpion. I did modify that Ray Bros. hopper to made it shorter. I will eventually have an Amrep octo in my fleet. This is probably going to be my only FG video. Tell me which was you favorite truck!
NOTE: I am stopping voting since I feel like it is wrecking the surprise of what will come next.

Who are the idiots that are putting all of the dislikes on this? I'll bet that none of them could make anything that is even half as creative as these are.

@WasteManTony Thank you! It is Styrene. If it isn't there, the arm will go all the way to the ground and beyond. haha What are you planning on doing with the python?

There are actually some BFI ones. They are hard to find but they are out there. Ive only seen rear loaders though. the old WM colors would be nice to see too
I bet none of you know how to make like these trucks! My little bro clicked that video and he wanted me to watch it with him so at the end when I red that you made those I was like "wow". Great job :) Keep on doing stuff like that it's really cool :D

@garbageboycd Yeah. I no longer have those trucks. I made those years ago when I wasn't paying attention to detail. I tried to make the curbtender packer but it wouldn't work so I had to make some improvisions. Nice to see some people pay attention to detail though!

@PershingPower This is my hobby. Not filming these trucks but building them (those 2 green ones), filming real trash trucks, and collecting real trash cans. It's very popular actually.

Awesome! I really like the carry can, and I think it's cool how you put that piece of wood or styrene or whatever to hold the arms together on the FL. I also like how stable the arms on the Curbtender and Scorpion are. I hope to completely modify my Python in a couple years.

I found your channel through random suggestions on youtube. Your trucks got my attention and I watched the rest of your vids as well. Its an unusual line of interest but I like unusual things.
I'm in Cleveland OH. We just started automated trash pickup in my area. I dont know what equipment they are using yet but I hope to find out shortly. Maybe I can get some vids of trucks we have. I'll let you know.

Excellent joy, Alan! Quick side note, the arm you have on the Scorpion is wayy more Curbtenderish while the Curbtender arm is more Scorpionish. Also, Curbtenders do not have a RL style pack in which the Scorpion does have, which you made. The Curbtender packer is basically just a MSL packer, but 10x taller.

@SEIKOHGIKEN Thanks. First Gear trucks are a lot of money. You can type in First Gear Garbage Truck and you'll find a lot of websites that have them.

Looks great I remember my nylint fire trucks n other rigs but these probably looked cool without u modifying them but with mod they are so much more appealing. I'm almost 30 and I want to go play trucks with my 6 yr old now lol. And shame on the ones making fun guess they don't really understand how important waste management is... Not WM the co, just in general (for all those who know who WM is...;)

very nice trucks, noticed a bit of paint on the wheels but hey could add some realism to the trucks (i mean garbage does get dropped some times, and perhaps some paint cans were dropped) love the trucks and what scale are they in? I would love some 1:87 scale trucks like this!

@locomn88 You can type in: first gear trash trucks. I made most of these though. They aren't cheep. Like 80$. I also modified them to work. They aren't ment to be messed with. Just put on a shelf. Just lettin you know. They break easily.
