The Magic of Trains and Christmas

- For well over a century, trains have been associated with Christmas.
But why though? Is it the memories? Is it the traditions? Or is there some Christmas magic that we don't know about?
We ask those in the hobby about why it's still going strong in today's modern society or what makes them special to them during Christmastime
Special thanks to Secondhand Overland, Matt's Trains, Berkshire736, Nikolas Worden Entertainment, The Creative Mind, Retromikado, Jimgamthetrainman, Caleb Easter's Trains, Kisco Falls Railroad, The Rector Railroad, Gold Standard Trains, and Alfonso Lanzagorta!

Hello from Kansas 🇺🇲
Wow, this video came out great. I laughed, I cried, I smiled a ton and really felt like I was able to connect with the model train community. You did a really great job with this video, sir - thank you so much for putting the work into this and sharing it with us.
Wow, thank you!
Amazing work!!
Thanks a lot!
Thank you for putting this together. Christmas and trains have been tied together for me since my first American Flyer train appeared under our Christmas tree in 1958 or 59. Two years later there was another American Flyer train under the tree. My son still has those trains, and many other we added after he found an American Flyer under the tree in 1986. We had a lot of good years together with our trains. Buying an American Flyer Polar Express car in November of 2019 got me started again. Now, at age 72, I have a train room and a TH-cam channel where I share my adventures in this hobby. Merry Christmas.
That is awesome! Thanks for sharing your story!

My favorite steam locomotives will always be the 4-4-0’s and 4-8-4’s.
