I recently saw so many businesses close down because of the tax hikes, rent hikes etc. businesses have to increase the cost of their products. Everyone stops buying those products, and those stores close due to lack of sales.

I am retired and live in a cottage. Have to drive one hour each way for healthcare. Half an hour for groceries and have propane heating.
Although I am considered in low income i pay 90 percent of my income in carbon tax, property tax, water heater rental, utilities, insurance, bank fees, land lease, and gas for truck.
Until Trideau came along I could live comfortably and go out for dinner onc a week. Now i switch off all my heating at night when I go to bed because i cannot afford to heat home 24/7. Cannot go to mall for heat because carbon tax makes it too expensive to get there. Thank you Trudeau for working for all canadians
