I understand why he had to because people who watch these TV channels have not heard these mistruths addressed by the other side. I don’t agree that Harris won. This isn’t a football game. People are looking at this like it’s a soap opera. People are the ones who need to focus on the issues. There are a lot of things to address. But you can’t expect a tv “news” program headed by Harris’ decades long friend to allow this to happen.

But if the border issue is really of concern for you, perhaps you should be bothered that your candidate choose to kill the bill that would have helped simply to be praised for fixing it himself in the fantasy world where he gets re-elected. Ugh, grow up.

Trump took a lot of bait where he didn't need to but anyone who had to argue/debate with 3 people would fall for that a lot too. This wasn't Trumps best performance, no doubt. The question is, did this debate convince the independent voters to vote for either candidate. I'm voting Trump no matter what. It comes down to policy for me and the simple fact that life was better for me and my family while he was president.
I would like to see another debate and this time on a right wing platform or a completely neutral platform with 2 moderators, one Republican and one Democrat. If there is bias amongst the moderators, then at least let it be equal. Lastly, we need better answers and questions for the American people. Both of them mostly going at each other, aren't helping us on the issues that we are facing as a nation. They didn't even cover homelessness or the fentanyl epidemic. People can't afford groceries, and they are both up there bickering with each other. The disconnect between politicians and the average American citizen is astounding. I can't say Kamala was a clear winner. Trump had to take on 3 ppl. She performed better than I expected, but about 70% of the time her answers came off as clearly rehearsed, like she has no genuine ideas of her own. Trump should have answered questions more directly and fleshed out his ideas a bit more, but I feel he had more jabs and sound bites than Kamala. Given the media bias, I can see how they claim Kamala the winner. Considering how bad her first and only interview since becoming the nominee was, she was a winner in some sense, she looked alot better last night.

The moderators weren't neutral at all. That said, while I don't think either of them won or did exceptionally well, I think Kamala will end up looking more favorable to those who are already poised to vote for her, while Trump will be made out to be an eternal, virtuous but triumphant victim by his base.
I'm a conservative. I've voted twice for Trump, but I didn't see someone with 4 years of presidential experience on that stage last night. This is not the time to be a bull in a china store or to play to his base. His base will ALWAYS be there regardless of what he says or does. Unfortunately, they're easily swayable group of people who are enamored by his lack of refinement. I'm sorry sir, you were president for 4 years. You have all sorts of public skirmishes that MANY voters want to roast you for and see you fail. We're not in rally territory here. Nobody wants to hear about your "beautiful" "fantastic" "wonderful" anything. You need to stand on business with clear, coherent answers and show the American people why you deserve to be in office and lead our country again.
Kamala's typical and predictable folksy shtick that the Left loves to depend on was a yawn fest, but she's allowed to get away with it because the Left is equally swayable and enamored by utter nonsense and word salads.
Neither one of them showed me much of any reason why they should run our country last night.

Rogan and I usually agree on a lot of issues, but after watching this video, this is where we part ways. I simply do NOT agree with your observation that the moderators were biased or that they excessively fact checked Trump. As a matter of fact I was really disappointed in this observation, which actually seemed quite disingenuous in comparison to the usually intelligent and unbiased approach I've come to expect in your videos. Did both Kamala Harris and Donald Trump lie during the debate? YES, they did. Fact is, ALL politicians lie - it's part of their job. However it was ONLY Donald Trump, and NOT Kamala Harris, that told such OUTRAGEOUS lies during the debate that the moderators had NO CHOICE but to fact check him. Democrats demanding post-birth abortions? Haitian immigrants eating dogs? Everyone, both democrats and republicans, happy that he overturned Roe v. Wade? These lies were far more outrageous than anything Kamala may or may not have said, and THAT'S why the moderators had no choice but to interrupt him with a fact check. It had NOTHING to do with any bias on their part, and EVERYTHING to do with Trump's compulsive need to tell bombastic, outlandish and stupendous LIES! Make no mistake about it, Kamala Harris did also manage to sneak in a lie or two - she wouldn't be a good politician if she didn't. But whatever lies she told during the debate PALED IN COMPARISON to the gigantic whoppers Trump dropped on stage. Trump is his OWN worst enemy and it's his mouth that's 99% responsible for all the trouble he's constantly getting himself into. If he'd simply stuck to the debate prep and called out Harris on her record, we wouldn't be currently having this discussion about moderator bias. But he couldn't help himself and thought that he could score points by telling these outrageous lies about Haitians eating dogs or democrats aborting babies after they're born. And you know why? Because his campaign in a sinking ship and he's desperately trying to score points by using outrageous lies to appeal to people's outrage. The problem with this strategy is that it ONLY works with his narrow base. Independents and educated suburban women are far too intelligent to fall for that trap. And this is PRECISELY why he's going to lose come November.

    1. Of course, Kamala did better. She is a prosecutor. Non-lawyers don't understand how that one debate format is a trial attorney's dream scenario. Anyone other than another trial attorney would probably be outmatched. Regarding fact-checking, Harris' misstatements were more subtle and nuanced, making it challenging for them to fact-check in real-time. Trump was a little more outlandish. Also, Trump's Achilles heel will always be his ego. He can't get past that. When Harris baited him with crowd size, he could have said, "That is irrelevant and of no consequence to your horrific policies that have caused harm to the American people." BAM, done! Point Trump; Harris looks childish. He could have flipped the script so many times, but he did not master the subject matter. As far as I can tell, the moderators teed him up nicely to knock Harris down, but he could not do it.

The man had 4 years as president and 4 years knowing he was gonna run for president, and he still doesn’t have a Healthcare plan. He had all that time and he could have created a team to just make something for him to slap his name on. He will grand stand and talk about forced transgender surgies on illegal immigrants in prison and immigrants eating cats and dogs, but won't come up with a Healthcare plan to replace the system he has promised to change for almost a decade. I appreciate that he removed the penalty from the ACA because that meant a lot of people would be struggling to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. But even if gov takes over healthcare it poses extremely high risk because gov controls your healthcare people better pray that the gov cares enough about them not to force them to take experimental jabs etc. the gov has already shown that lobbying works because there are a lot of ingredients in foods in the country that are banned in others.

Yes, she responded to the questions, but she did not answer most of those questions. In fact, the most important question about her flipping on policy she didn’t answer at all.

Thank you for fact checking the abortion issue. I have mentioned too that has happened and late term (2nd and 3rd trimester) abortions do happen. Although rare.

Some commenters are saying he was against the moderators as well...they let him have multiple free diatribes out of turn without cutting his mic, he got more airtime than he should have.

A specific moment that pissed me off was when they drilled Trump on how he was going to replace Obama care. They asked him multiple times “do you have a better solution yes or no” to which he said “no but we’re working on it”. But when it came to a subject like how Kamal Harris was going to deal with foreign conflict her answer was “we have a plan (to then not explain what said plan is) but Trump is a villain” and that seemed to satisfy them enough. It’s like Trump asked Kamala questions that the moderators should’ve been asking her. Especially when he asked “why haven’t you done it?” in reference to the border. Trump may have looked less professional because he seemed unprepared, but Kamala was constantly directly insulting him and GASLIGHTING LIKE A MF. “I told you he would lie and here he goes”… for me the thing that makes me think Trump wins at least a participation trophy is when he said “I’m talking about what the people that live there said” when the male tried to fact check him about the city official that said nobody was eating pets. Because that shows that he was genuinely concerned and actually listening to what the American people are saying. Not in the phony, gaslighting way that Kamal kept trying to sell to us all night.

Didn't watch because I predicted what you pretty much said...Trump was gonna be low energy or a jerk; media was gonna favor the Dems; Kamala was gonna do a lot of shut up and sit down. The fix is in...Kamala will win.

I'm glad the moderators held Donald to task. He says outlandish things that are false. He needs to be called out on those things. The moderators did there jobs!

I'm very disappointed at your behavior at this video. You're saying that no one should tell you how to think and when I think Trump won the debate you say I'm a liar and the truth is not in me. Right there, you're saying how should I think. If I believe that Trump won the debate, that is my opinion and that's how I feel end of story. You're allow think that he didn't win,, but don't throw someone down because they think differently.

You are disappointed in my "behavior?" I'm not sure behavior is the right word, but ok. I am not telling you how to think. You are free to believe whatever you want to believe. I am telling you what *I* think of anyone who watched that debate and thought that Trump emerged victorious. And clearly there are many people who watched and thought he bested Kamala. I think he gave a poor performance and *I* think anyone who believes he killed it in that debate is lying because they like him. That doesn't make it true. It's *my* opinion. You are free to counter. Thanks for watching.

@@ThisBahamianGyal Good for you to give a strong and balanced defense to this dudes maniac clap at you. I think his comment just shows that these debates don't sway any Trump supporters no matter what. I think Trump is going to win again because there's not much that could happen that would stop his supporters for voting for him. Anyway, love your content, love you and glad you give such authentic material!

@ThisBahamianGyal Behavior probably wasn't the right word and I'm sorry about that. It was the only word I could think of at the time. I just think you could've gotten your point across a bit better. Making assumptions on people isn't a good thing and you did it again, here. 😬 I don't even like Trump as most people do, I'm more of a DeSantis fan. But I'm voting for Trump because I feel he can do a better job than Kamala. Also the reason why I think he won because he was able to call her out on her foolishness repeatedly and he did the best he could when the odds were against him and I feel that I wasn't lying about that. Also, you can't call someone a liar when something is based on opinions. It only works when things are based on facts. It would make more sense to say you just don't agree with what the person said.

What's sad to me is that people actually think this is what a debate looks like. An actual debate brings facts, actual answers for the question given and is impartial. You don't throw poop at each other hoping it sticks. You also strive to have an unbiased field, crew and moderators. I watch this and I just shake my head. Trump is my vote this election though. Kamala is a pretty face with nothing in her head.

There was no clear winner. The sheer fact that she needs other people in her ear and can't formulate substantive answers on her own is a problem

It's a balancing act to not overstep the President and the current administration you are a part of with what you might implement differently as the new president. I think people forget that since we haven't seen it play out in a while.
