But this movie misses the point of animal relocation, the lack of caribou will take care of the wolf problem by itself because the wolf numbers will also take a swan dive. And then the caribou will begin to multiply once more, but if the humans move the wolves the caribou will overrun the entire national park and basically destroy it.

Funny thing the mention about the hunters, they’re re used models from the first movie. I can’t remember the first guy, I think he’s re used from the shopkeeper’s assistant in the first one, idk. But the one with the beard is clearly the old lady’s boyfriend from the first movie. Which is weird because…. The old lady is in the movie, interacting with the exact same model… but he’s not the same character. Also, they flat out retconned Brent’s character arc in the third movie where he got over his fear of birds. You know for a movie that’s so heavy on continuity it sure does love disregarding continuity. ALSO also… Shade does a pretty good Brent impression who knew?
So they brought back the old lady from the first movie and straight up said she was the same character, but then recycled the husband's model to make one of the trappers and thought no one would notice?

If I remember correctly, the bear actually overcame his bird fear in the third movie. Unless I'm remembering it wrong and he developed them again at some point in the third movie or offscreen and was just never solved. But I know for a fact he got over that bird fear in the third movie but here it seems like that character development was thrown right out the window.
