Hi Chuck, We just had our surface plate lapped to grade A about a month ago. I can tell the difference in using it now. Our was about .0005 out before he started too. Steve

I’ve seen Tom’s video where they did his plate and one at Stan’s and now yours and it’s still magic to me that they can get them so flat! Those two young men love their stones, and it shows in the work they do! Someday when I’m rich and infamous I need to get my plate lapped!

I missed a chance to have my 12" by 18" plate tested by them several months ago. I was trying to get from Watt and 80 to West Sacramento on a day it wasn't raining cats and dogs, it was wolves and lions. I live between a middle and high school and couldn't get out of my dead end street for almost 1/2 hour. Needless to say they couldn't wait so I missed that opportunity. Hope all is going your way with the medics.

What did they seal it with?
Standridge has their own sealer that they sell
