No words were ever more true! Most customers just think they are paying you money to get it there and no excuse is acceptable, because hey, you aren’t human and bad things just don’t happen. I think that was great of Cleetus to make that point, he has experience and wisdom beyond his years and just taking the time to pout that out that the carrier was doing everything within his power to get it there.I now the carrier appreciated that.

I get the same BS on a smaller scale when I don't run in the low 8's high 7's. If Jamie had a valve body that allowed 2nd gear lock-up (on a dash switch) he would’ve been able to make the steep climbs locked in 2nd and trans temps would’ve been kept in check. It’s non locked up where the spinning Torque Converter raises fluid temp.

Cleetus, I don’t know how you can maintain the schedule you keep, even without having emergency issues like the one you had. Going to school and all the rest, all I can say is that you will never fail, working as hard as you do and that kind of effort becomes contagious to the rest of the team as well, that will only boost the level of everything that you guys choose to tackle. I have been in the transportation business all of my working life and solving problems like the one you had and when you are able to make the impossible happen, it is really satisfying.
I think the reason your channel is so successful is that your team comes across as regular guys and you yourself are either a great actor or you are genuine and I think that people really enjoy that about you, the viewers feel like they are there with you guys and your reactions to whatever happens, good or bad are genuine. That allows a connection with your viewers that so many that are trying to get a channel going seem to lack. Well I just read as many comments as I could scroll through and wow you guys are amazing, just an update ol blue got a service while the crew was all on race week and is still trucking along like a champ everyday, cletus is a very appreciative humble friend that I'm lucky to have and I would go on this adventure again in an instant. Also big shout out to the transporter he is a very stand up guy that did everything he could to get the job done and keep his own safety as a priority. Adventure of a lifetime for sure!

1 month and 3 weeks before i turn 54 years old. I was around drag racing as a kid. Still my favorite sport along with boxing, after all these years, and today... I learned that just because your car can run 7 second passes doesnt mean it HAS to run a 7 second pass every run.
P.s. someone mentioned setting up another vette but on the sequential shifting setup. I think its a great idea. And it gives Cleetus stuff to break without breaking the ones that are gaining ground on becoming completed already.

The trip he described for getting the stacker to Colorado sounds a lot like what we truck drivers deal with on every workday.
Granted that Jamie was the hero that day and deserves the credit he's been getting. You also have to give credit to the F350 driver for doing his job at the best of his abilities and resources to provide good service to the crew.

This ultimately proves to me that Dodge and Cummins *STILL* have the best drivetrain on the market. The bodies may disintegrate around them, but they will keep pulling when nothing else will. I have seen single wheel 3/4 T. Dodges pull some massive loads over all kinds of terrain, and not even think twice about it. Try that with a Powerstroke, and you're just asking for trouble, because they're loaded up with so much crap under the hood and packed in so tight, that any kind of long haul with large loads, creates heat related issues that you just can't work around, no matter how good the cooling system is. (thus the cooked oil line that started the fire) Granted, Dodge has had electrical troubles since the dawn of time, and their manual trans. leave a lot to be desired, especially under heavy loads, but overall, they still come out on top for reliability, and heavy load handling, especially the automatics with a good trans. cooler. Really glad you guys worked together for a solution that got you to the R.M.R.W. just in the nick of time! Jamie should mount that Dodge on a rotating pedestal outside their shop, just for posterity!😁👍👍
Dan W the auto trans is by far the worse of the big 3 trucks. The transfer case was trash in early trucks. Interior is worse. The only thing dodge wins in is the motor they don’t build and test is junk.

I mean, have you seen some of the cars 1320 covered? They had breakdowns every other day and sometimes multiple breakdowns in a single day. Doing only 1 major repair the entire week is god tier reliability for what these cars are and what they're designed to do.
The Ford F-350 broke down but the good old Ram 2500 pulled the trailer and didn’t have any problems, Dodge life lmao

Jamie is one of those types of friends who rarely come along in life. Pertaining to some of these kids whining about "7 second passes".......ya forgot to mention that many of these race tracks simply aren't suitable or prepped to run a car in the 7's. Ya just don't "roll on over to any ole drag strip" and "run 7 second passes". These kids have absolutely NO CLUE what it takes, to run 7's. From mechanical to track conditions, everything has to be just right to do so SAFELY. Besides, I bet of you were able to "stuff one of those kids in the car for a ride-along" and make a 7 second pass........they'll be pissing & pooping their pants & shaking with fear. It's a violent ride. THEN maybe they would understand. It's "easy" when you're watching on youtube, or from the sidelines. inventor of toast I know they don’t have a good reputation... but I really get a kick out of people who talk trash on things they probably could never compete with. I myself have a 6.0 and it’s been a strong running truck even though they are the biggest POS in most people’s opinion. But most of those opinions come from 6.0 gas gm owners that can’t afford a diesel but pretend like they just don’t want one

He goes above and beyond on a normal basis, and sadly in this case. A truck he bought because his normal one was in the shop so he could do this job and stay on schedule failed. Crap happens, and happens to everyone, and I assure you he hauls more things in a week, than you have you're whole life. Typically with his main truck which is a ram 3500.
