I would like to see something like this which has a built in solar charge controller + battery + Digirig + speaker + mic. This way I would deploy needing only 3 connections... antenna, USB to laptop, and solar panel. This would be perfect.
Agreed that should be the target! I would add to that list also a build in current choke. With a build in solar charger I think you will get problems with additional noise but maybe somehow it is possible.
