I went to Cedar Point with friends and we discussed what we like and don't like about every dining location at Cedar Point and ranked them along the way.
So let's talk the best and the worst of Cedar Point's food!
let's go!

I'd say you should try ranking the restaurants outside the park too, but that's something that would have to be done over an entire season or maybe a couple seasons. It would be far too expensive to do in one day (or even weekend trip). Places like TGI Friday's, Tomo, Perkins, Famous Dave's, Bay Harbor, Quaker Steak & Lube, the Miller's Table, etc.
Days away from my first ever trip to Cedar Point and trying to figure out where the wife and I are going to be eating at to get the best food for the meal plan so greatly appreciating this vid right now! Also I was recently recommended glasses straps and now I'm recommending them to you to help keep your sight as it's supposed to be; in front of your eyes so you can see.
I love it and I look forward to a round 2 and round 3 of this series.
My #1 will be fries at Hot Potato or Happy Friar - just cheese and ketchup on it or just plain.
#2 will be Senor Vargas or Lemmy's walking Taco - it's basically nachos but served on top of Doritos, it's a Texan Treat.
#3 is beer, but if we are being family-friendly, it's got to be an Icee or the cold-ass water at the fountain near the museum. One of the water fountains in that vicinity has the free cold-cold.
My OG number one was a Cleveland Tradition - Melt, but that's gone, unfortunately.
Cedar Point has great food, but King's Island's food options will titillate the juices of your guilty pleasures.
the rice at boardwalk is my go to always, one of the best
Farmhouse was serving up a chicken pot pie i didn't hate on Fathers Day!
Thank you for doing this vid! Love it!! I would like to try the steak and gorgonzola bruschetta.
Really helpful video, thank you
One of these days I'm gonna buy a premium all day dining and try everything I can in a day like you. Portions aren't as big of a deal to me since I can't physically eat that much without getting sick. So something like Happy Friar might be right up my alley.
No complaints from me about the fries from cedar point.. thats for sure!
The piadina is literally my favorite thing there! I'm also not Italian, so I guess my opinion doesn't count.
I think the only place I don't like for food is the Corral. Everything else is ok to good and for an amusement park, that's impressive.
We got onion rings at coasters and they were cold. Wasn't impressed. My top 4 CP restaurants are the pavilion, farmhouse, backbeat 37:35 , and Hugo's. Haven't had happy friar. Not a big fry person. We get the funnel cake shrimp at the pavilion and love it.
Have you try the restaurant Perkins I loved that restaurant it’s sucks none are in Michigan
I have! It’s in a coming videos. Honestly, it’s nothing special, but you can also never go wrong with it.
I agree the top 3 are where we eat most
Farmhouse overall is top still. My favorite meal this year was the Southwest Chicken Wrap from The Red Garter Saloon . The kitchen there isn't always open though.
Miss Keats bowl with ground beef instead of chicken is my go to over everything .
Please do a video where you rank the potatoes of Cedar Point. Every potato dish from every food place. It could be a whole series, Potatoes of Cedar Point, King's Island, etc. For CP food I usually go to Farmhouse or Backbeat. Pavilion if I'm in the area. I haven't been to Hugo's in years, the line is always crazy. The only time I eat at other places is when I'm in a group and they decide. My brother and I both get the meal plan and stagger them to split a plate every 45 minutes.
I want to be not your normal editor! 😂🎞📽
Watching on Monday eating my chicken fingers I brought home. LIGHTING so they put the waterpark on pause. NOWHERE to sit because everyone sat under the pavilion to stay out of the sun and heat. Food looks good
Gotta love a good honest food review! What are we reviewing next?!😅
Who knows! But when you get here again, we'll find something else. lol
I’m just counting down the days pal!
Saw you yesterday and tonight at the park, wanted to say hey but you were busy talking with other people.
What do YOU think about Cedar Point's food? Where do you disagree/agree?
Both Backbeat and Farmhouse have now given me food poisoning. So those aren't my favorite. The Pavilion sizes really don't justify a meal, though it's pretty good. Honestly, at this point, Hugo's is my safest bet for best. The restaurant at Cedar Shores that's escaping me is a hidden gem too.
I don't mean to be "old man yelling at cloud" but it seems like the food was quite a bit better in the past.
I respect that.. if I ever get food poisoning I will not be back to that location lol but so far so good.. i only ever eat the brisket and steak though
If no one else got food poisoning you may have a food allergy or intolerance. I haven’t really heard of food poisoning being an issue at cp. Coming from someone who has a ton of food allergies people are very unaware of how they present themselves.
Panda Express is my guilty pleasure 😂❤
Warning: 1/4 of this restaurant ranking video contains live entertainment tangents. So Not Your Normal Guy!!!
That sounds like me!
What else are you gonna do while you eat?
😂
@@notyournormalg1 You seemed to have a great day, thanks for sharing it!
I know so many people love it, but I hate the rice from the pavilion. It’s just too sweet for me, for a rice. But like most everything else there. I’ve got 3 kids & they all love Hugo’s, mostly pizza but my chicken tender kid says they have the best tenders in the park, with the pavilion coming in second for him. We all collectively dislike coasters, everything’s always soggy and nasty tasting. And absolutely flat side for cup - I swear I’m no flat earther lol. I’d spill from the corner somehow 😂🤷♀️
So many hot takes! I love it!
What restaurant aT Cedar point is the Best to eat at ??? And is there any new updates on Top Thrill 2 ? I have not heard anything so I was just wondering!!! I hope that Top Thrill 2 reopens this year I really do. I hope that the rumors of Top Thrill 2 not reopening until 2027 is fake. I really hope that Top Thrill 2 reopens this year ! I'm going to Cedar point on July 11th 2024 and again on August 27th 2024 ! I hope that Top Thrill 2 is reopened by then !!!
Corner
