I have a 2006 topps sealed factory set. Is it worth opening it looking for the Alex Gordon card? What are the odds it's in there and how do you know what sets it would be in?
Hey I have a question. I have a topps Kobe Bryant rookie card without this name printed on the front of the card . Would you know the value of it ? I also have a Michael Jordan topps without the name printed on the front of the card and a few others . I have pictures
Yeah I read some of the comments. You missed the fact that the Billy Ripken "F face" card was actually not the most desirable. They had a few variations but it was either the white out, or the black box covering the vulgarity which was more rare and valuable.
I believe the white out version was most valuable. I still have price guides from 1989, one of them said $50 (and dropping). It's probably actually worth a few bucks today, not graded.
Hello I have an error card that I have not seen anywhere else on the internet but I’m not sure where or how to send it in anywhere to have it verified and graded. Any way you can help with how to do this?
How common is it for modern cards to be printed with the wrong player on the reverse side? I have a card with AJ Burnett on the front but the back of the card is Adam Dunn
there are 4 versions of that card. This one, the black box, a white out, and a scribble out. I think the white out one is the most valuable, don't know why.......
Do you know anything about chipper Jones cards? I've got his rookie card with his bolles stats. It's the card from the desert Storm collection. From what I've read, they were only given to the soldiers that were part of the desert storm war and are hard to come by. I also have his highschool baseball card. Wondering if you know of a value for these cards? I can't find the info. There's a few desert Storm cards for sale online for rediculous amounts of money, just wondering how much truth is behind these numbers.
I don't know if in anyway more value towards but found a Brett Butler older one but different player on back of card. I don't know if it's a rare almost a first or something.
There is also another version of the Frank Thomas rc error. The one i have shows him missing from the card as well as the name and the words "draft picks"
Give a shoutout to the card collecting community. That Aaron is an uncorrected error, technically not an error because there's no corrected variation. Good luck finding that Bonds error for the minuscule price of $300 and the Thomas for $600. I can tell you know vary little about cards but this is still a fun video.
The same goes for the Aurelio Rodriguez card. The uncorrected errors might warrant a separate segment as I suspect more errors go uncorrected than get variations.
I've got a 1999 Upper Deck HoloGfx Mark McGwire on the front, but on the back it has stats for Mike piazza. I paid $5.00 for it years ago. Probably not worth more than that now.
I have hundreds of messages on Facebook, Instagram, email and through my website. The best thing to do is join the coin collecting Facebook groups and post images of your coins there so you can get feedback from other collectors.
congratulations Justin!! That's cool man you know you're thinking outside the box while still staying in the Box with your passion because all of us have growing up with all that hours in the baseball cards for the longest time so I was like 18 or 19 then I got into collecting Hot Wheels and collectible cars and I still do that and I still got all my football baseball basketball cards. so that's awesome bro and you're going to go to the top my friend you going to be pushing that gold play button if you know what I mean you know what I mean LOL👍😎✌
Dude, you are tooo cool! I too am an diversified collector. By the way, I have quite a few of Billy Ripkin's "F. F" cards, as well as the one's that they used to cover up the words with a black scribble or the black patch. However they are all cool. Some of the other things I collect are the match box and hotwheels cars. Some are in the original packaging from the late 1980's and later. I also bought used ones from auctions that were made in France as well. And, I have sports figures like the army ones that stand on their own or have a little base that gives them a way to balance. Do you collect this kind of stuff? Let me know. Or, if any of your other viewers collect similar items i would like to hear their comments. Thanks for your eclectic collecting habits. It's refreshing to know that I'm not the only one, Cheers!
85 donruss tom seaver #42 actually shows lefty team mate #24 floyd bannister. 85 tops gary pettis is actually his son nice error cards to add to your collection and the best 74 padre wth washington nat'l league card is Willie McCovey
I admire this kid. He is pretty knowledgeable and will only get better with experience. But it’s because of him I keep an eye on these things. Thanks n
So maybe you could either do a mix of all sports cards at a time.Baseball,football,hockey,etc. or at least tell us which sport you are going to showcase at a time? Just a thought....nice job today...
I was all excited after just now watching this video. I just bought that Billy Martin card a month ago for $1 at a card show and knew nothing about the middle finger. But I don't think it's worth much if it's an uncorrected base card.
I have so many old Baseball cards I wish there were a place near me that someone could look at my collection and tell me if anything is worth anything.
Cards are worth whatever people are willing to pay for them. Mine are just mostly for sentimental value. But the Beckett price guide give ideas on what cards are worth.
I got all the 1971 home run leaders, pitching leaders,e.r.a leaders, rookie stars, strike out leaders, batting leaders and also got the 1965 Era leaders with sandy koufax Jain marichal and Vern law N.League any idea what there worth ? Also got lefty gomez and Willie Mays photo/Card 33 of 33 and got the Kmart 20th anniversary cards hank Aaron and Willie Mays and the 1971 A.L. Home run leaders include Reggie Jackson
I love this new segment. I'm going to have to look thru my baseball card collection and see what I got lol. I think this is going to be a great addition to your channel.
Couch Collectibles ...sorry..didn't Wana be the ONLY ONE, that actually watched the entire video, but u messed up. Where's the UD Murphy? Lol. Sorry. Nice try though
Wats up Buddy, I been organizing my cards , looked at eBay for prices and there Selling 90 donruss cards like Tracy Jones, Ricky Henderson Ryan, Bo and more . Can u Or do you know if it's BS or There Really going For good $.. most Errors there saying because there's No "dot" after the INC On the back of the cards.. If you have some feedback holla Back. Ttyl
The 1957 Hank Aaron may be an "error" as in, it shows him batting left handed. Did Topps ever correct the error? If they didn't correct the error, with a later version showing him as a right handed batter, there wouldn't be any added value to it being incorrect. That being said, there may more value to that years card as opposed to other years because of the error.
All 1957 topps hank aaron cards have him as a left handed batter so its only as rare as every other 1957 hank aaron card ever made. Sure its an error but a error made on every card produced. Rarety of error cards are early print runs before the mistake was caught. And with cards condition is everything. Cards are graded on a scale of 1-10 and pretty much any 1957 aaron card graded 6 and above sell for $300+ with a 9 or 10 bringing thousands to tens of thousands of dollars and not because technically it is an error and the Frank thomas card has sold in 10 condition for over $20k
there are different versions of that billy ripken card I had them all there was a ☺ face put over it and a dot put over it and the two versions he mentioned...
Ughhhh..the Hank Aaron 57 Topps, although indeed an error card, was an UNCORRECTED ERROR....meaning Topps never issued a corrected version....true value would be an alternate released version which was distributed in smaller quantities than the original
Please do more card errors!! I do not know of too many of them and want to know more. Also an error is the 2015 Vidal nuno/ Patrick Corbin from 2015. It shows the name Patrick Corbin although the actual player pictured is Vidal nuno
There's a 2007 Topps card of Derek Jeter which some of the cards have Mickey Mantle and then-President Bush photoshopped into the background. A number of conspiracies of why some of the cards were photoshopped. They don't sell for a ton though, maybe 5-10 bucks. Still more than the maybe 50 cents the non photoshopped cards are worth though.
+Anonymous Viewer I've saved all my tickets to every event it game I've been too since I was a kid. Also use to collect sutographs, sports memorabilia, action figures.
Topps didn't forget to put Thomas's name on the card, there was a printing issue where the black ink was removed in portions of about 8 different cards, it just so happened the the portion on his card included his name
$120 for the Bill Ripken? It took me 3 seconds to go to ebay and see that it sells for $20. If you're talking glossy or psa 10 then you really should clarify.
I have that too. It's still not worth but a dollar I think. The 90 Donruss set was way too overproduced to make any of its cards worth much. The Sammy Sosa rookie is 10 bucks making it the most valuable in the run by far.
Most of the cards shown aren't worth much more than the rest. The Billy Martin from 1972 is a base, not error, card and worth >$5. it does not have it listed on the side of thr box on the checklist does that mean it's for sure not there. that sucks
I have a Mark Mcguire prism card, but on the back are the stats for Mike Piazza.
You forgot to show the Murphy upper deck card😃
The Dale Murphy looks just like the Billy Ripken card
I remember being younger wanting that Frank Thomas card but it was hundreds of dollars. Now you can get it on Amazon pretty cheap.
Nice
Hey I have a question. I have a topps Kobe Bryant rookie card without this name printed on the front of the card . Would you know the value of it ? I also have a Michael Jordan topps without the name printed on the front of the card and a few others . I have pictures
I have a miscut Randy Johnson rookie card ...I got 3 of them but one is miscut badly ...is it worth anything
Is the error deion sanders card worth anything I think it's a 1989 or 1990 rookie card for the Yankees
Where would you sell these cards? Hard to find a buyer or collector.
Online
let me know too hard to find
Cool video. Did not see the Dale Murphy card. It just showed the Billy Ripken card on the screen while you talked about it.
Yeah I messed that up.
Didn't at Billy Ripken card have 3 or 4 alterations? The scribble, grey block, black box versions? I remember the scribble being the rarest.
Yeah
I think the white out version was the most valuable
The Ripken card also has a white or black box over the knob version
What would be the value of the frank Thomas error rookie card that’s non graded? I seen a couple graded ones for $6000
You would have to get it graded. Lower graded cards are not going to go for that much unless they are really rare cards
O alright what about a George Brett rookie, chipper jones rookie,bo Jackson rookie?
5$
Yeah I read some of the comments. You missed the fact that the Billy Ripken "F face" card was actually not the most desirable. They had a few variations but it was either the white out, or the black box covering the vulgarity which was more rare and valuable.

Love those error cards! They've always been a fun part of the hobby👍
I don't know if in anyway more value towards but found a Brett Butler older one but different player on back of card. I don't know if it's a rare almost a first or something.
There is also another version of the Frank Thomas rc error. The one i have shows him missing from the card as well as the name and the words "draft picks"
is a 1956 Brooklynn dodgers baseball worth anything Jonny padres was the pitcher excellent condition
Worth anything
Prices vary on many different factors. If you search sold listings on eBay you will see what similar cards have sold for.
Give a shoutout to the card collecting community. That Aaron is an uncorrected error, technically not an error because there's no corrected variation. Great video. You have the it factor. There are so many painful amateur youtubers.
Thank you!
On Ripken....also had most variations to obscure the obscenity.
How do I get my cards upgraded?
I have baseball cards and Batman cards still in the pack where do I take them
I've got a 1999 Upper Deck HoloGfx Mark McGwire on the front, but on the back it has stats for Mike piazza. I paid $5.00 for it years ago. Probably not worth more than that now.
Love this more now! Awesome job
Is there by a chance you can look at my Indian head penny if I send a photo

Have you ever come across a 1990 Donruss Red/Red error card? The error has a player picture on each side and the players are different.

I have that Billy Martin Card and I thought it was junk...nice
Thanks for watching!
I really like your channel, but the pricing on these cards are way over inflated. Also there are about 5 variations of the Billy Ripken card.
Topps didn't forget to put Thomas's name on the card, there was a printing issue where the black ink was removed in portions of about 8 different cards, it just so happened the the portion on his card included his name
First shout out should be jamisons cardboard
Shout out!
Some would call us hoarders
lol
$120 for the Bill Ripken? It took me 3 seconds to go to ebay and see that it sells for $20. If you're talking glossy or psa 10 then you really should clarify.
Do you not see the grade on the card?
Everybody in my family has collected baseball cards in this one card has been handed down in my family it’s a Babe Ruth rookie card
Thats awesome!
got over 400,000 cards just sitting around that my uncle left me....
Nice!
Grim Reaper :selling any?
Where can I sell my cards? I got some good ones
Try eBay
I wonder if there's a way to remove Frank Thomas' name from that card without making it obvious....... i bet people have tried !
I got one error card it has john smoltz name but has a pic of steve avery
think its a red 1990 Donruss not sure its value O.O
Nice! All depends on condition
I have that too. It's still not worth but a dollar I think. The 90 Donruss set was way too overproduced to make any of its cards worth much. The Sammy Sosa rookie is 10 bucks making it the most valuable in the run by far.
I have the 90 donruss card that has Tom glavine pictured but says John smoltz. I think you you be confused but there may be one I don't know about.
Hello I have a Kobe Bryant and MJ without the name printed on the front of the cards.
It’s a 96 topps. The Kobe is a rookie card and the MJ is not
I have that ripen card
Encontré 250 tarjetas donde las puedo ofrecer son una colección no están repetidas
Are you interested in Football cards too Justin?
I dont buy cards.
Most of the cards shown aren't worth much more than the rest. The Billy Martin from 1972 is a base, not error, card and worth >$5. The Billy Ripken had 5 variations and the F*ck Face card is not nearly as desirable as the others. Most reverse negative cards aren't worth much more than the base. The Frank Thomas No Name is worth a ton, but most of the cards including the 1962 Topps cards, just aren't worth that much. Most 1960's sets feature intentional error cards, where the wrong player is pictured. As a result, most aren't natural errors, therefore they don't hold much monetary value over their counterparts.
Ya most of the cards shown are not worth anywhere what he is claiming haha. Give people false hope.
do people really still buy cards for cash? i thought this market was dead tbh
Trent Dubbs market is nowhere near dead haha.
Thanks for censoring the curse word. I'm no longer offended since there is no 'u'.
@@ericfureal3257 are you serious, you are offended, then don't look at websites that you aren't sure of what's going to be displayed! Just saying!
I have a Brett Favre rookie card where his name is spelled wrong on it
Way over inflated the prices on most of those cards man. Overall, not a bad video though.
Ya his prices are not even close lol
David Espinoza yeah its not an error or variation that makes them valuable but the rarity and demand. If there are more errors in circulation then the correct version would actually make it worth less.
Actually he just made up prices. The Thomas can reach 5-6k high PSA grades
The Thomas card, only had one PSA 10, that's why they are so expensive
