I've been enjoying her a lot so far, i used to play a lot of rythem games so i knew she was for me when she released. Thanks for the guide, please keep looking into builds for her if you can!
She just seems gimmicky and out of place. Nice design but adding ddr style gameplay while balancing the already chaotic nature of the game is just unnecessary and tedious.
Really tough to start learning this character but the rhythm mechanic actually starts becoming muscle memory after spending time on it. Once you get used to the mechanic then more mental bandwidth becomes available for other things and it becomes second nature.
Yo also add passionate sponsor because if you’re constantly buffing now you’re constantly adding firearm attack and even more skill power modifier to your allies every time you buff them with a different
My only gripe is having to hit the buff on beat and the having to shoot on beat with a skill where if I miss it consumes a huge amount of MP. If the kit was where I can choose an ability normally without stage presence needed (as all abilities still have a CD) and then have stage presence empower you and your allies weapon damage if shooting on beat for a short period of time - have a short mini game for each song before casting to determine the length and intensity of each ability - however the 4th ability can stay the same. her inspire gage can work the same and as before. This is my opinion other than this fix up I love the character. Also glad to see TFD content from leyzar
I have two friends with well built lepics and they want me to play luna to buff them to kill the boss faster however I haven’t really gotten to grips with her yet
I’m adhd af and I am Ngl I absolutely love Lunas play style. Just bought her bundle and the ult valby bundle and as someone whom mains valby and bunny I can honestly say it was a worth while purchase. Used an activator on Luna and am intending on catalyzing all her slots.
--- She should Buff More stats like DEF or Shield Regen as well as Movement speed at base or Increase chances of HP drops --- Be able to free fire after hitting X amount of notes / as well having a big damage that you have to build up and is will be fired in one shot. --- Skill Weapon should scale to her Weapons or Should Buff the shots doing more damage and AOE damage --- The range for her buffs and weapon should be increased --- Be able to see who gets buffed as well as the CD and MP of her team in the HUD --- Her other skills should DEBUFF enemies (move slower and shoot slower) -- -Her First skill should deal at least knock back or build up stun. If they add half of these changes she will feel LOADS better and on Par with the strongest in the case of Util wise while doing decent MOB damage (imma be spamming this everywhere cuz I love her but man she needs work heavily.)
To be fair they tried with octavia's 3rd(?) skill with the whole shooting jumping crouching on tempo thingy. This is not new but I think it failed because they are just not punishing enough even if u miss a beat
Definitely gonna try her out, sounds fun to play. Btw, does anyone knows if her blue dance (the MP recovery) does work (fill) with Gley life force bar? Would be nice to help out those Gley boss melters to get their job done faster.

My hype went totally down when I tried her skills in the lab... endless QTEs during battles!!! I just XP her with my Cage using none of her QTE skills at all...
Just to point out you don’t need to swap to a different note to gain inspiration bar. You can keep refreshing your current note. Also with the 4th ability each node you hit gives an inspiration bar. Also as long as you don’t miss a note. cd reduction is just going to take up mod slots for no reason.

I like her, and I like her play style. But I wish the diamonds were actually on rhythm of the music, it feels off. (Maybe it's just me, let me know) I like playing a game called Rhythm Heaven, so it would've been fun to play Luna to the beat.
No, the dots are not synchronized with the music. I’m a musician and I always try to shoot with the melody of the music and it doesn’t match. They should fix this ASAP
I’m a guy and I enjoy playing as Luna!!!! Look really hot at the Albion. Everyone looks at me ❤. Unfortunately if you decide to unlock her by grinding. Major requirement is You Gotta have Enzo for certain missions. Other wise you won’t be able to unlock Luna. So I bought her 😊
encrypted vaults can be done without enzo, you wont need him to farm any of the materials that come from vaults. I don't have enzo and i have Luna and Ult Bunny and Lepic

It seems they didn’t want people to give themselves everlasting buffs so it only ups the duration of the buff to teammates. Same with cooldown decrease, it only works on failed cooldown.
honestly you dont have to hit the notes everytime unless you explicitly want to maintain the 25 stacks and her weapon auto targets you don't even have to aim it
It's a lot of management, but you're not going to focus on DPS with her anyways. You're focusing on supporting your teammates and their abilities. You can't just turn your brain off like most of the other Descendants.
@@Alyrael But this begs the question of if every other Descendant can turn their brain off and kill everything very efficiently and this is the only Descendant that has to focus 100% of the time and does not kill effeciently, then something needs to change. Having every single skill as a skill QTE is not good design. The only skill imo that should be QTE is the ultimate, the other two should do something different, and more damage / CC focused. As for the special gun, this should be baked into the ultimate skill not as your crutch you're forced to wear for the whole time playing luna. I wanted to like playing her but, way too much work for way too little payoff. Heck even a fully charged dance buff means you risk getting twatted by the boss and downed. Whole skillset needs to change sadly.
She requires a lot of multitasking. I heard women are good at multitasking. Regardless, can be a fun little challenge to push your limits from standard run and gun gameplay.
Is there an audio cue for the perfect pitch and stuff, like actually shooting to a beat or is it just the dots? Also I'm surprised the devs expect guys to do ALL that with one hand😂😂jk jk
After play testing she’s really just a fun character but not useful in the slightest rn cause most characters are just self sufficient for what she offers, also you can’t really build into cooldown cause it doesn’t affect successful actions only failure which there’s no point in building into you making mistakes that makes no sense to build for playing bad. Also getting her third buffed means you have to cancel abilities to wait 45seconds in order too get the 100%. I think the biggest flaw with her is your third ability is the only reason to actually shot her weapon the others don’t build bar currently. which makes no sense considering you only get one on ability cast from the other 2. But to be honest most supports rn are really kinda useless when you can just run a dps or another tank and support yourself, and to top it off she heavily relies on her team being good to be useful. Edit: all this being said if you like her you’re playing a game for enjoyment so use her
I got her right away, tested her. Dps horrible, auto tracking helps with the shooting, but didn't help much. Now after one day of constantly playing her, got mod capacity to max etc. Her gun for me is doing 500-600k each shot which can kill any enemy basically in one shot and make very decent dps in void battles. I put some defense and hp on and i can literally run into a crowd of enemies and be absolutely fine. I'm still missing 2 crystallization catalysts but she's gonna be an absolute beast when I get her done!
@@robertylonen1896 idk her dps can scale pretty well it’s just her kit feels half cooked. She’s like Octavia (warframe) but worse she is more fun to play. One of her Her aug mods that does dmg should just be a part of her kit at base alongside the support aspect, but turning a support into a dps by losing there support aspect is just not it unless she was designed to be a dps it will always be lack luster. Bunny does exactly what her aug does but significantly better and on top of that you can use the Aug spot to enhance the dmg that bunny is doing. Edit: I do enjoy playing her so I mite main her a bit to see if I’m missing something cause rn I mite just can’t see the utility yet besides three lepics in bosses or gley 🤷
@@dashaunpitts8028 I'd even go as far as to say, with her transcended mod and little bit of skill, you could in theory do even more AOE dmg than bunny. Because unlike bunny, u can spam her AOE indefinitely and bunny has to move fast to get her AOE to proc. We will have to wait and see what happens, the same happened with viessa, Freyna etc when the game launched. Everyone where saying they are terrible but after one week, we had 30 sec boss melt builds for both.
@@robertylonen1896 uk that’s the first legit counter point anyone has had to me saying her doing dmg and losing her support ability being bad (you do have a good point I’ll do some more testing I’ve gotten it to hit 400,000 crit consistently when building up her 2 she can max out crit. So in theory yes she can do more dmg faster in bossing. If mods from weapons applied to her gun she would be better for general gameplay but i think bunny still would be better in general gameplay she would be faster and hitting 1mil consistently. And when it comes to bossing solo yes that aoe would be better, but in public support will be better cause you can just bring 3 lepic and you can give them infinite ult.
Exactly, there’s no point in a tank, or a healer since most of the time bunny and lepic kill everything before you do anything. Plus, all character can have almost the same HP and DEF with no drawbacks. You enter in a mission with 3 bunny’s there’s no fun, only bodies of ads and you don’t do anything.
She's too much for me I think. Like I would like to try decendants before using hours on grinding for them, or even spend money. But since you can't try them out. I'll skip for now. Also she is cool, and i wish I could handle all that. But I could probably play her and do 1-2 buffs, but that would not give me that much bullets, right? So I wouldn't be in the supporting role all the time.

@@miavelvetone of their games had its gacha mechanics/probability chance purposely altered which is a big sin in gambling. Aggressive microtransaction practices (im talking like, really aggressive). Notorious for shutting down games early. Iirc this game also has a program that runs independently from the game that doesnt really get shut down even if you exit the game and no one knows exactly what it does (though for this part I just saw it from someone talking about it on the steam page but a lot of people seem to agree).
I'm not sure how she feels, seeing as your buff doesnt have a statistic to see how impactful they are. She does have decent crit on her ability, still trying to get the augment from gluttony to see if she can be decent dps.
Got my hands on her 2 hours ago and i am extremely disappointed. I play the piano IRL and i am a huge fan of videogame music, when there is a music themed mechanic in games i will use them. I expected a rythm shooter experience where there is a link between the musics rythm and the actual timing of shots. There simply is so little of it, it is insulting. The music is kinda silent and has very little beat to it. Mostly i have to fire my gun at times where there is no "notes" in the music at all. I did not expect this to become "Metal: Hellsinger" or "BPM : Bullets per minute", but i expected there to be a slight basis at least. The actual music is so irrelevant to this characters playstyle, you only get the minigames shooting rythm in your muscle memory. The guns sound is misfit for any music she is playing as well. The skills themselves are nice to have but not mandatory for most teams. She is fun in bossfights, but stressful to play in regular missions. Honestly i feel like she is missing the hopes i had for her by a long shot and i am frustrated or even a little angry how little this characters playstyle has to do with music at all. I get it is difficult to make such a character, but it is disheartening to see how far they missed the actual feel of the character.
This mechanic with a mini-game in notes is completely unnecessary for the support class, which makes it very difficult to master the controls of this class. I think that Luna will not be a popular class. Since killing bosses and going through dungeons is only provided for a group of 4 people maximum. Instead of Luna, it is more logical and I think it is more correct to have 4 DDs in a group than 3 DDs and 1 support with a complex mechanics of gaining a buff.But she looking so hot and Sexy :D But unfortunately, I think it's absolutely useless in this game.

I'm very underwhelmed with Luna. I'll have to get ingame and farm her up to test her but she looks hella boring and her buffs are trash (at least from the first impressions). I just know that I can enjoy playing other games without missing on an interesting character. When Luna was introduced I was hoping she'd have something cool like Octavia from warframe but in the end it only looks like lazy game design (copy pasted abilities with different effects and forcing you to play guitar hero constantly) I may be super harsh on her design, but I was expecting something more
Her damage build is actually pretty good and her buffs are insanely strong for ability focused descendants. Viessa, Lepic, and Valby are eating with her

While I'm not a fan of the guitar hero playstyle they gave her, I have to strongly disagree with her buffs being trash. Every meta descendant atm benefits greatly from her being in the team. She will be a skip for me personally, but a welcome addition to the team whenever I play in public lobbies

FYI you can’t run the full auto setting on while playing her. It will cause you to double fire at times missing notes

Being restricted to your unique weapon while it has 0 scaling off of your weapons is stupid.
That’s why you give her skill power and crit, and tech focus to boost her signature weapon damage
Pair this with gley and boost her massacre dmg when ahes firing with pytjon or thundercage as base stack
Yup, If u have Enzo and luna in the group, you can buff up the dmg by 160%.

No need to farm Luna since there is no place to put her. No way to earn Descendant slots. Game is done for me sadly.
So one descendant slot costs 50 caliber, and that's equivalent to little bit under a 1$ or 0.90€.

@@robertylonen1896 idk her dps can scale pretty well it’s just her kit feels half cooked. She’s like Octavia (warframe) but worse she is more fun to play. One of her Her aug mods that does dmg should just be a part of her kit at base alongside the support aspect, but turning a support into a dps by losing there support aspect is just not it unless she was designed to be a dps it will always be lack luster. Bunny does exactly what her aug does but significantly better and on top of that you can use the Aug spot to enhance the dmg that bunny is doing.
Edit: I do enjoy playing her so I mite main her a bit to see if I’m missing something cause rn I mite just can’t see the utility yet besides three lepics in bosses or gley 🤷
@@dashaunpitts8028 I'd even go as far as to say, with her transcended mod and little bit of skill, you could in theory do even more AOE dmg than bunny.
Because unlike bunny, u can spam her AOE indefinitely and bunny has to move fast to get her AOE to proc.
We will have to wait and see what happens, the same happened with viessa, Freyna etc when the game launched. Everyone where saying they are terrible but after one week, we had 30 sec boss melt builds for both.
@@robertylonen1896 uk that’s the first legit counter point anyone has had to me saying her doing dmg and losing her support ability being bad (you do have a good point I’ll do some more testing I’ve gotten it to hit 400,000 crit consistently when building up her 2 she can max out crit. So in theory yes she can do more dmg faster in bossing. If mods from weapons applied to her gun she would be better for general gameplay but i think bunny still would be better in general gameplay she would be faster and hitting 1mil consistently. And when it comes to bossing solo yes that aoe would be better, but in public support will be better cause you can just bring 3 lepic and you can give them infinite ult.
Exactly, there’s no point in a tank, or a healer since most of the time bunny and lepic kill everything before you do anything. Plus, all character can have almost the same HP and DEF with no drawbacks.
You enter in a mission with 3 bunny’s there’s no fun, only bodies of ads and you don’t do anything.
Dont you think the max MP stat looks at the one of the ally? So relaxing sound gives 2% regen of the max mp of bunny's mp stat?
She's too much for me I think. Like I would like to try decendants before using hours on grinding for them, or even spend money. But since you can't try them out. I'll skip for now. Also she is cool, and i wish I could handle all that. But I could probably play her and do 1-2 buffs, but that would not give me that much bullets, right? So I wouldn't be in the supporting role all the time.

@@miavelvetone of their games had its gacha mechanics/probability chance purposely altered which is a big sin in gambling. Aggressive microtransaction practices (im talking like, really aggressive). Notorious for shutting down games early. Iirc this game also has a program that runs independently from the game that doesnt really get shut down even if you exit the game and no one knows exactly what it does (though for this part I just saw it from someone talking about it on the steam page but a lot of people seem to agree).

I'm not sure how she feels, seeing as your buff doesnt have a statistic to see how impactful they are. She does have decent crit on her ability, still trying to get the augment from gluttony to see if she can be decent dps.

Got my hands on her 2 hours ago and i am extremely disappointed. I play the piano IRL and i am a huge fan of videogame music, when there is a music themed mechanic in games i will use them. I expected a rythm shooter experience where there is a link between the musics rythm and the actual timing of shots. There simply is so little of it, it is insulting. The music is kinda silent and has very little beat to it. Mostly i have to fire my gun at times where there is no "notes" in the music at all. I did not expect this to become "Metal: Hellsinger" or "BPM : Bullets per minute", but i expected there to be a slight basis at least. The actual music is so irrelevant to this characters playstyle, you only get the minigames shooting rythm in your muscle memory. The guns sound is misfit for any music she is playing as well.
The skills themselves are nice to have but not mandatory for most teams. She is fun in bossfights, but stressful to play in regular missions. Honestly i feel like she is missing the hopes i had for her by a long shot and i am frustrated or even a little angry how little this characters playstyle has to do with music at all.
I get it is difficult to make such a character, but it is disheartening to see how far they missed the actual feel of the character.

This mechanic with a mini-game in notes is completely unnecessary for the support class, which makes it very difficult to master the controls of this class. I think that Luna will not be a popular class. Since killing bosses and going through dungeons is only provided for a group of 4 people maximum. Instead of Luna, it is more logical and I think it is more correct to have 4 DDs in a group than 3 DDs and 1 support with a complex mechanics of gaining a buff.But she looking so hot and Sexy :D But unfortunately, I think it's absolutely useless in this game.
Nah gang I'ma use Luna and be the best of the best I think the mini game with the notes is unique and fun honestly 😭
She's a support character, buffing your teammates, on SOLO she's Meh!

I'm very underwhelmed with Luna. I'll have to get ingame and farm her up to test her but she looks hella boring and her buffs are trash (at least from the first impressions).
I just know that I can enjoy playing other games without missing on an interesting character. When Luna was introduced I was hoping she'd have something cool like Octavia from warframe but in the end it only looks like lazy game design (copy pasted abilities with different effects and forcing you to play guitar hero constantly)

Her damage build is actually pretty good and her buffs are insanely strong for ability focused descendants. Viessa, Lepic, and Valby are eating with her

While I'm not a fan of the guitar hero playstyle they gave her, I have to strongly disagree with her buffs being trash. Every meta descendant atm benefits greatly from her being in the team. She will be a skip for me personally, but a welcome addition to the team whenever I play in public lobbies
