  • In this video Ill be using Saviland hard builder gel to attach full cover tips, also known as the lazy girl method. By using the lazy girl method Ill be able to do encapsulated nail art, and the nails are super quick to do. By attaching them with hard gel theyll be really sturdy and strong.
    Ive used Saviland Builder gel from amazon a few times now and im really pleased with it! The full cover tips are from Beetles, also from Amazon.

    If you do the lazy Girl method do you prefer to attach them with gel,acrylic or polygel?

    Oh god, I used to have one of those hands, they are bloody awful to work with. I ended up putting it onto my wall out the front of the house, looked great sticking up there ;) I got one of those mechanical type hands in purple from Aliexpress...works pretty well and it screws onto the table, I just stick tips or full covers onto the nails with false nail sticker thingies. It really has got me comfortable with doing it on a real person. Good tutorial btw

      Omg, you put it on the wall? 🤣🤣🤣 These are horrible! Had a mechanical one at home that the dog killed, so really happy that I bought the silicone one xx

      🤣 I was looking at some silicone ones on Aliexpress, they've really gone down in price. Some of them are so amazingly realistic, it's like a body parts catalogue on Ali lol I like the deep pockets for the nails as well, won't keep pinging off when I'm shaping it with the drill and board. How are you finding it?

      @@jaxbrooks5821 Im really happy with it! The only thing thats tricky is forms. Found a way to make them stick on the fingers, but they can sometimes tilt up.
      Trying to find a way around that 😁 Great that u can actually take pictures of it to post xx

    I have that same gel, if you warm it up it’s a lot easier to work with.

    • @OhNoNails
      @OhNoNails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, same with their colour builder 🤗

      Do you think if I warm a little bit will actually cure?

    • @OhNoNails
      @OhNoNails  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shemekaoliver9563 If you warm it will the consistency is runnier. Nothing to do with curing.
      But you are sure its uncured and not just a tackier inhibition layer than you are used to? Try to wipe the sticky layer off and tap it with your gel brush. It should sound hard when u tap it 🥰

      @@OhNoNails I even found a third light I tried all of my lamps are over 36watts but 1 it's actually 36watts. I never used acrylic only gel for 4 years so I know I'm doing it right. I'mma just send it back bc I have their base and top coat and it works fine.

    • @OhNoNails
      @OhNoNails  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Then something isnt right, better to return it. If three lamps dont work and your used to gel you've just been unlucky🥺 Hope the next one works hun 😘

    Isn't the hard gel too thick for the underside to attach to the nail..? and how would you attach it to your nail?

    • @OhNoNails
      @OhNoNails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ill sometimes leave hardgel in a warm room/ Cup heater so its runnier and easier to work with. If you get the correct amount you can gently lay it down and Just lightly hold it in place before you cure 😊

  • @shemekaoliver9563

    I have this gel but it seems to not be curing even when I do thin layers can anyone give me tips?

    • @OhNoNails
      @OhNoNails  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi hun, what wattage is your lamp? I reached out to them and the gel requires a lamp OVER 36 watt. Mine is 48 ❤

    Hard gel doe not soak off.... That being said people be remember this ...they will have to be filed down

    • @OhNoNails
      @OhNoNails  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, youre right ☺️ hard gel needs filing, and also hard base gel wont soak off. So for someone who hasnt got super flexible nails, and always filing down or only wants them for a short time it is a possibility to use a soft gel base. The hard gel can be filed and and the rest soaked off. But for long wear a hard gel base is correct (and non soak off). Thank you for clarifying if I was unclear in the video 💖
