Travis I can't tell you how much I appreciate the skeg! I'm fresh off the Pecos and finally put it in the water, absolutely the coolest piece of equipment on my Diablo!
Hey Colton, You are totally Welcome!! Glad it worked out for you Man! You ever need anything else just give me a shout! Hopefully you can come up here and we can do a local river before the year ends. Let me know!
You mentioned that you were going to add a bungee to keep the skeg down. At the end if tge video I did not notice the bungee. were you able to go without the bungee due to weight of skeg ??
The Bungie is necessary, had not noticed that I left that out. But yes you do need to Bungie , maybe you would be able to see it in action in some of my Devil's River videos right after this one that I did?
I might post one sometime, but I want to be careful of the focus of this channel so I might upload one to another Channel and Link it from this channel
Howdy, digging the skeg! Just out of curiosity, would you be willing to make something like this to sell? This one looks to me like it’s solid! Native Texan residing in Colorado btw. These alpine lakes are no joke with the wind, and up until now I’ve just dealt with not having a skeg which has yet to work out well.
Hi Angel I totally understand, the Skeg helps so Much in the wind. And ABSOLUTELY on the Skeg. Just private message me on Facebook and we can work out a way for you to get one. facebook.com/flyfishingtexan/ I have also made been making these out of 1/4" alum now instead of the 1/8" alum so they are Stout!
@@FlyFishingTexan Hi there! I am very interested in how you fabricated the skeg. And would be interested in seeing if you could give me a quote for fabricating one for me.
