I just got an email from C-1 this morning alluding to the fact that they are not even working on better noise reduction in the foreseeable near future! After upgrading every year for many years DXO got my upgrade money this year for Pure Raw 4 and I'm very pleased with the results. It's a pain having to round trip but I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that C-1 is not interested in my money and maybe it's time to move on after using the product since V-7. Subscription is not even on the cards when you don't upgrade the product for a wider audience and charge twice the industry norm.
With the number of hybrid shooters working professionally now and the lumix range being such a hybrid favourite please consider trying to make some of the range work tethered without the crazy workaround. I’ve been signing the development requests, otherwise I’ve always been a fan of the improvements c1 have been making in recent years
