I agree with you - especially if there is a big fish... you want to minimize the change of anything going wrong. On this trip at Barkley we were averaging 20-30 kings to a net a day, so we were pretty relaxed about playing fish and if we lost one it was only another 5-10 minutes till the next! I like to bring my DR weights into the boat and get the DR arm out of the way to net or release. Love it when we can see the fish
