You have a HOMESTEAD not a petting zoo. What you and Joe are doing are necessary things for your survival. There are other channels that claim to be a homestead but never actually harvest any of their stock and you rarely see a garden harvest. Parker is learning where his food comes from and the effort it takes to obtain it

God bless. Titus was hard for me. Joe is so good when he puts the animals down. I know you didn’t show it all but I thought the respect you all showed those animals was really special.
Thank you Tina in showing the humanity in this process. I grew up on a farm and it was hard for us but as people closely connected to the land and the food at which it comes it’s necessary. But not always easy. Godbless you and your family ❤❤❤
Although this is so far removed from what I could do, your family does an amazing job with the animals. My brain understands the purpose but my heart hurts a little. Thank you for sharing, so authentically, your family's life. Much appreciated! 🧡

Loved how Bella looked at Bradley drinking her milk 😂 so cute great job with the meat it was nice seeing you a little upset those animals are loved, i won't lie i might have shed a tear when you were catching the goat 😢
I am fairly new to your channel, and one of the biggest reasons is your wholesome and honest approach to living a sustainable, GOD fearing life. I can relate to how hard it can be when you are processing your own meat. But the way you take care of all of your livestock is amazing. They were well fed and well taken care of. I really love and appreciate your channel, and feel very blessed to have found your channel. GOD Bless you and your beautiful family.
Thank you for sharing the processing of your animals. Exciting to see that your freezer will be full for the winter👍. Going to be so good to see Kellen again. And the sale of your old cabin👏👏. God bless you all. Take care from Cape Cod. ✌️❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸
I have butchered and gutted and put away wild creatures, and I still cry. I thank them; I thank God. Part of life is death. As to goat: I have eaten wild goat from the mountains here in Sitka -- it was incredible! I have also eaten goat I purchased from the store -- also very good. It is good that you are sharing with your son (and daughter?) the cold hard facts of where our food comes from. We need this reminder.
📍Has Joe ever done tanning? They would've made some beautiful sheepskin & goatskin rugs for your cabin, especially if the wool & hair coat is soft, Titus' hair coat looked soft & thick. Maybe in the future consider it, and the blood rinses out through the tanning process. Might be a fun winter project for Joe & Parker one year. You always do a great job with everything your family is doing! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas! 🎄
I absolutely love your channel and family for being 100%real❤ showing emotion is humanity and means you care about where your food comes from. Growing up on a farm eating our own meat , vegetables, eggs everything we raised and grew. We knew where our food came from , it was healthy , no chemicals, nutritious and harvested with love❤ God Bless, enjoy❤ I pray I get a coffee mug this time in time😊😉
Tina, I had a feeling you were going to get emotional. It is hard. Love y'all and enjoy following you, Joe and Parker. Of course the dogs, cats, Lexie and her sweetie. Can't hardly wait to see Calum. Love you all. Keep on keeping on.
Wood hooo getting so excited to see Kallen again. We're processing our own meats too. Prices are to high any more for groceries, especially meat. We will always process our meats and process our veggies and fruit that we grow. God bless your amazing family. Parkers learning amazing life skills too.
I read a book a few years ago, written by a Naturopath. It’s always been my “go to” book for years, because of the great advice on how “we really are what we eat.” One of the chapters that most impacted me, was the one where he cites and explained the Bible Verse where it says: “ Get up Peter, Kill And Eat.” (Acts 10:13) It means a few “other” things, but it also means that we should eat Fresh Meat. One of My son’s worked in a Meat Packing Company and a Supermarket, and he told me that they would be instructed to “change” the packagings Labels when they expired. Can you imagine this? How horrible! So, people that raise their own food/meat are blessed.
You're not alone....I just read people's comments before viewing and when they mentioned the Mummy crying for her baby ....so I had to give it a wide berth....
It’s nice the cats can be outside again. We have a three legged cat.❤ really appreciate your channel and all the effort that goes into your lives that you share with us
I enjoyed this weeks video. Thank you for sharing your meat harvest and the respect that you have for the animals. It’s good that you have this meat source available and know exactly what you’ve got. I know you all are so excited to have Kellen coming for Christmas and we all will be excited to see him too. Looking forward for the mugs to get there. I had wanted one for Christmas but that’s ok I have a birthday coming up in January 😊. Looking forward to seeing you all live on the 21st. Be safe Watson Family.
You are my hero, you are my inspiration, you mean so much to me. And so many others … WE Thank you 💖 I will tell you I didn’t know if I would ever have the courage to do this, but in today’s times we truly need to know where our food is coming from and especially the meats well hell it’s all being poisoned at an astronomical rate. This is something that I’m going to have to learn how to do . Knowing that this animal has a purpose for my family is going to be huge for me being able to be respectful and loving to that animal and thank them for what they are doing for my family and honoring them before harvest in 6 to 8 months months is going to be huge. Getting the right mindset is a way that I can do this. Thank you.💖 I’m sure I’m gonna cry many tears, but to know that I’ve given them the best respectful and honoring life while They’re here on this earth and now they are going to give my family our best chance at a healthy nontoxic life because they are going to provide their beautiful uncontaminated nutrients. This is what we call the circle of life 💖 I think the hardest part for me is going to be when those beautiful babies are born because I melted into that so I don’t know how I’m gonna push through this, but I’m gonna have to if I want to survive in this toxic world which will by the way only get worse. Thank you for showing realism. It means the world this also to you hurt your heart but you know that this is the circle of life. This is what we have to do. Again, thank you with all my love. FYI, I also want to say you are such an inspiration because y you’re such a beautiful human being. You are a beautiful wife you’re a beautiful mother and a beautiful animal lover you do whatever it takes for those babies. I also will say here that you are a beautiful educator of women who want this kind of homestead. This type of education isn’t taught in the school systems and this is why we are falling so short of these sustainable life skills. thank you for helping to us and show us your realism of your own natural struggles But you get through it and that helps us to know that we can too. you value your role in this world. I truly love being a part of that world, even if it’s just a sneak peek. So thank you for sharing all this beauty with us.👊💖😘
Tina, Joe, & Mr P, I can totally understand having to walk away when dispatching the little goat. It's natural to feel emotional. If you had no feelings, I'd question it. It's nice to raise your food, know everything they ate, and know they were treated well in a relaxed enviroment, not a commercial farm/feedlot. When processing meat, more so wild meat (i.e. deer, bear, ect.) I have to give it at least a week, maybe two before I can eat it. There's this gamey smell that stays with me (in my nose). I have to wait, in order to cook and eat the wild meat. A convenience living where you live is having the colder temperatures to hang your meat outside. It's too warm most of the time. We have to refrigerate/freeze to keep the meat from turning. Excellent totals on your meat preservation for the freezer. I know y'all are excited to have Kellen visit, and stay for a while ( I'm excited for y'all). I bet he's grown like a weed.
@@sandyoklahomatransient8557 the cold def makes processing more convenient. Joe can take his time a bit more. We are SO excited to have Kellen home again!🥹🫶🏻
I am a meat eater for many reasons. I'm just a weeny when it comes to butchering. I tend to make all my critters pets. More power to you all that you do it yourself. I give thanks for the animals who feed us.
Always wonderful reviewing your home and family....wonderful place, good moments of all kinds...wonderful family ...and may it be a very Wonderful Loving Christmas and a wonderful New year💝💯💯🤗🥰💫🦚😇
And your feelings for the animals you took me back to my growing up with my very wonderful Hungarian mom, a wonderful loving mom and her very motivating area doing the same things with our chickens, ducks, bees, and all our fruits and vegetables, and we also our dogs....growing with very wonderful things to take care of...and also preparing everything for Christmas ....we also had a Christmas celebration with more than 30 relatives together💝💝💯🤗🥰💫🎄😇 23:48
We have only butchered our own chickens, but I do have to say, there is a sense of pride when I go to the freezer and see it stocked with our hard work and it tastes sooo much better too!
Hallo, I hope you are doing good. As I'm watching your video now I'm sitting and eating food I bought. I didn't do the things you did to be able to put food on the table. It's sad but it's called survival. Thanks for being so open about everything and don't be sad. That's how life is. And I want to say congratulations. I appreciate it alot that you show your son where meat and food is coming from. He's learning from a young age and knowledge is something that no one can take away from you. Keep your heads up, you are doing an awesome job. Have an awesome day stay safe and be blessed.
I so understand your emotions seeing Mama watching her baby leave, goodness I had tears flowing as well Tina, just the mommy in us. But I admire the way yall care for your animals & this is your way of life to harvest your food. God bless. MERRY Christmas 🎄 🎅
I have no problem with you processing your lamb. You raise it to eat You live on a Homestead, you're not living in the suburbs, and anyone who watches this channel knows. I love lamb chops. I love ground lamb. I love lamb ribs. My husband did not eat pork. So we did beef chicken and lamb and we we used to have all different forms of lamb. it's nice to see someone growing their own food and processing it. Thank you for sharing these moments with with us. I always look forward every week to your videos
What an amazing day, Ms. Tina! Mr. Joe took care of everything with so much respect, kindness, and compassion. He is an amazing Man. Wonderful memories and teachings for precious Parker. Asher and Rusty made me laugh so much, when hanging out in the Tractor Vehicle. You made me tear up a little, I feel your love for these animals. It’s so normal to feel that way, Ms. Tina. We honestly know how kindhearted you all are. I remember crying when our chickens had to be slaughtered. Because, we had names for them. And a Cow at my grandparents Farm, omg I was so heartbroken when she bacame our “Father’s Day Meal/feast.” So never mind those who don’t have anything better to say. I have to say, Goat Meat is so delicious, when prepared properly. I hope you enjoy it! My Church Pastor loves it, and he cooks it with lots of Mint, Garlic, and Oregano. But, mind you, it’s a Puerto Rican Recipe. I ate it once, in a Jamaican Restaurant in NYC and they cook it so delicious, too. And spicy! I think my mom (Rest In Peace) would soak the meat overnight, in Coconut milk, or Cows milk, Im not sure. People could be so horrible! Thank you for letting us know about the Scammers and the FAKE Facebook page. The meat looks absolutely delicious, Ms. Tina! Enjoy!! Thank you for another wonderful Video! God bless you all!
@@HomeFreeAlaska I bet yours is going to taste absolutely delicious! The meat looks so red and healthy raised. Lots of Carrots and Potatoes, and Spices. And all the love you and Mr. Joe put into raising them will make any recipe for them taste delicious. Enjoy beautiful Ms. Tina!
Love the dogs digging in the snow!! So focused on what he is going after. You have given them a good life and very respectful even durning dispatching. Thank you for sharing!!! Very busy day and your response is normal. I'll be watching out for the 21 with the Watson's.
YOU AND BEAUTIFUL LEXI TOGETHER, ALWAYS MAKE ME LAUGH AND FEEL SO HAPPY! Gpd bless you both! I bought a perfume she mentioned, for my daughter and I, and it (we) smells so gooood! ❤❤
As much as I look forward to each new video, I just couldn't watch this one (or the last meat harvest.) I very much believe in farm to table and I totally understand humane slaughtering but my heart is just too tender to watch the process. As always, God bless you and the family, stay safe and I can't wait to watch the slumber party. Can't wait to buy a coffee mug, too. BTW, I gave a thumbs up 👍 🥰
Excellent video!! Those of us who pop into the grocery store each week and choose our meat from the case really have no clue how it actually gets there. Yeah, it can be tough raising an animal that you watched be born and then dispatching it to feed your family. By cutting out the middle man, you have total control over the meat you put on the table. This is how it’s been done forever by people who are able to. I had a tear or two but you and Joe are doing it the way it’s supposed to be done. Thank you for your honesty and sharing the good, the bad and the tough stuff with us.
Tina I feel for you. It is hard to kill the animals you raise. I learned at an early age to do all this when I was growing up. I also learned to hunt and butcher too. Which all helped when we moved to Alaska back in the 80’s and now back here in MO. Can’t wait till Kellen gets there and for the live Christmas show. Love you guys❤❤❤ Cheers!
This episode covered a tough subject, but you guys did it well. It made me reflect on my relationship to my own food and then my relationship with my God who gifted this wonderful world to me and my family. It reminded me of just how sinful it is to take my meals for granted, without a thought to where things come from. If the video had not been done so skillfully, it would’ve been hard to have that moment of self reflection. Well done!
Hey guys. Merry Christmas. I can’t wait to see you all together again with Kellen ❤. What a Christmas gift he it is and he’s such a blessing. Thank you all for allowing us to know such a sweet boy. He a true blessing to anyone he meets so is sweet P. Can’t wait for the Christmas Pj party live. Be there or be square right!! 😂 ❤

Thanks friend!☺️
I admire your family, your homestead and for sharing it with us. God bless your family!!
Wood hooo getting so excited to see Kallen again. We're processing our own meats too. Prices are to high any more for groceries, especially meat. We will always process our meats and process our veggies and fruit that we grow. God bless your amazing family. Parkers learning amazing life skills too.
Enjoyed watching Love Y'all 🙏❤️❤️
I read a book a few years ago, written by a Naturopath. It’s always been my “go to” book for years, because of the great advice on how “we really are what we eat.”
One of the chapters that most impacted me, was the one where he cites and explained the Bible Verse where it says: “ Get up Peter, Kill And Eat.” (Acts 10:13)
It means a few “other” things, but it also means that we should eat Fresh Meat.
One of My son’s worked in a Meat Packing Company and a Supermarket, and he told me that they would be instructed to “change” the packagings Labels when they expired.
Can you imagine this?
How horrible!
So, people that raise their own food/meat are blessed.
It was hard and i skipped. Thanks for loving them.
I completely understand.🫶🏻
You're not alone....I just read people's comments before viewing and when they mentioned the Mummy crying for her baby ....so I had to give it a wide berth....
I’ll bet the wool lady was disappointed not to get the lamb wool. Teaching your children survival skills is wonderful. Good job folks.
Looking forward to Kellen's visit next week.
You are my hero, you are my inspiration, you mean so much to me. And so many others … WE Thank you 💖
I will tell you I didn’t know if I would ever have the courage to do this, but in today’s times we truly need to know where our food is coming from and especially the meats well hell it’s all being poisoned at an astronomical rate.
Thank you.💖
I’m sure I’m gonna cry many tears, but to know that I’ve given them the best respectful and honoring life while They’re here on this earth and now they are going to give my family our best chance at a healthy nontoxic life because they are going to provide their beautiful uncontaminated nutrients.
This is what we call the circle of life 💖
I think the hardest part for me is going to be when those beautiful babies are born because I melted into that so I don’t know how I’m gonna push through this, but I’m gonna have to if I want to survive in this toxic world which will by the way only get worse.
So thank you for sharing all this beauty with us.👊💖😘
Tina, Joe, & Mr P,
I can totally understand having to walk away when dispatching the little goat.
We can't wait to see how much Kellen has grown in the last 10 months.
I give thanks for the animals who feed us.
im glad your able to do this for your family. I wait to see Everyone's excitement when Kellen arrives. I hope you film it😊😊
It will be so good to have him home!🥰
Joe, YOU ARE A ROCK STAR🎉🎉🎉 doing all the hard things❤❤❤
This is rural living and you guys no how too feed your family. This was how I was raised big gardens ,chickens, and venison ect. From n/w pa.
Thank you so much! We appreciate it. 😊
This video is a learning tool for all…This is how we survive…This is how food gets to the grocery stores!!!👠🚌👠
I so understand your emotions seeing Mama watching her baby leave, goodness I had tears flowing as well Tina, just the mommy in us. But I admire the way yall care for your animals & this is your way of life to harvest your food. God bless. MERRY Christmas 🎄 🎅
Everyone needs to do there meat this way we would be a lot healthier. I was raised this way.
Hope everyone at the watson home has a very merry Christmas and a wonderful new year. ❤
Merry Christmas to you too!
@@WellaWally65 I’m going to have to look up some good goat recipes Ms Mirna! I’ve never had it & I want to like it!😊
@@HomeFreeAlaska
I bet yours is going to taste absolutely delicious!
❤❤
What y'all do is hard work. But there is a lot of joy living where you are as well. Have a Merry Christmas 😊💛💛💛🌲🌲🌲
I miss my husband we use to That for my family and it's awesome job gut and clean the animals that's good meats
BTW, I gave a thumbs up 👍 🥰
Oh Tina you have a beautiful heart hugs to you dear sweet momma
We love potatoes and eggs. Such a hearty breakfast.
Absolutely! Totally agree with you!🫶🏻
Tina I feel for you.
What a blessing to know how your food was raised!
We are so thankful.😊
Can’t wait to see Kellen,,😊love the video.
31:12 the way she's looking at Bradley 😂😂😂
This episode covered a tough subject, but you guys did it well. It made me reflect on my relationship to my own food and then my relationship with my God who gifted this wonderful world to me and my family. It reminded me of just how sinful it is to take my meals for granted, without a thought to where things come from. If the video had not been done so skillfully, it would’ve been hard to have that moment of self reflection. Well done!
Wow, that's a beautiful perspective! We appreciate you sharing your thoughts with us. Thank you.🫶🏻
You guys did amazing! It’s definitely hard but work it!
Family reunion, Kellen it's almost here how wonderful. Blessings and Merry Christmas 🎄🎁 from New York..
