Did U just close a ? br is an empty tag, so in other words you don’t close it unless you are using XHTML where you close them by typing . Generally speaking though you won’t need to do this and all you need to write it without the and it will work just fine, it’s the same with the img tag etc. If you want to learn more about this go onto w3schools and see the empty tags section of html
This is the correct format to write an empty tag and you are also right but these are also know as self closing tags
Finally I found someone who makes a webpage without css, I have gone through every video in TH-cam trying to find how to make a Web Page, but all of them used css along with it. I do not know css so I finally found this and Thanks so much I used your help to Submit My Computer Holiday Homework

You are wrong I don't use CSS even not inline CSS , it is just HTML

For those who don't know, CSS is still being used, it's just inline CSS which isn't recommended if you're doing 5 or more CSS elements.
There is no inline css it's html4 and for inline css we need style attribute.

First of you have to enable show extensions in windows to show the extension for every file and then there create a file and rename the file with new extension .html and this is simple basic of computer and then I have opened that file in my text editor and then to browser to view that code result I have opened that file browser.
