Excellent demonstration of the myth of power savers. I do not understand your native language, but the numbers do not lie. I am a retired electrical engineer, and I have done my utmost to discredit the rampant myth that these so called power savers work. Kudos to you on your very complete demonstration, keep up the good work! Ordinary people just do not understand real power versus apparent power and what a power factor really is. It very apparent that the consensus of the educated around the globe that this a total scam, and absolutely must be quashed. You are a brother from another country. Cheers from Canada.

Capacitor is used for correction of power factor of inductive loads.
Energy usage is billed in KWH and not KVAH...
KwH = kvah * cos (phi)
Cos(phi) is between 0.0 and 1.0 depending on type of load.
Correcting cos(phi) with a capacitor will make it 1.0 thereby increasing KWH.
In fact you don't save current, instead you lose some with the internal resistance of capacitor

@@keep-updating-keep-exploring do not use capacitor or inductor to correct power factor with out exact knowledge of type of load. You will end up in additional electric bill.
You can use an Automatic power factor corrector (APFC) if you have a big load with more motor type loads ( inverter motors don't count) and provided the billing at your place is in kvah. (Here in Kerala, india billing is in KWH)

Normally you can check the current consumption in inductive loads after connecting capacitor. Watt never changes but VA must change by connecting capacitor. Most household meters read one unit as one kVAh insted of kWh so in that case capacitor is helpful in case of more inductive loads only otherwise kVAh will increase.

A combination of Resistor and Capacitor can be used in parrallel connection with mootorised items like fans and drills and washing machines. It will not save power but it will improve efficiency of equipment. Motors of all equipment will run slightly faster. And the resistor is actually not required at all. Just a capacitor used in fans will do. That is why your fan speed becomes slow or stops when its capacitor stops functioning. And I have not seen the pwer monitor in the market, which is shown in video.

The energy meter works on current consumed by load.
After putting capacitor the inductive part shall be compensated and current drawn by load shall be decreased hence the power consumed by inductive loads shall be decreased.
It will be connected along with high inductive load. Not always in circuit, then it will also be a electrical load and consumed power.
    Regards

Vijayeshji, Grt practical proof. this will help consumers a lot in saving their money though they couldn't save power. Thanks. But one more thing - Capacitor of correct value (calculated by considering inductive load value) improves PF , which improves efficiency. so less wastage of power. this will really help in improving appliances life, needs wire of smaller size, equipments with low KVA sufficient for same amount of work etc.
please check what was the power factor before and after connecting capacitor. May be the circuits you connected have good PF (near to 1), so capacitor wont be needed. but big appliances like fridge/AC, heavy duty fans, Industrial machinaries may need PF corrector. please correct me if i am wrong. Thank you.

Hi don't look at the watts . Look in to amps . That's where you can see how this capacitor can help us with saving energy .

Consumers are billed in kVA. But what the consumers get is in kW. kVA is bigger in number, but when multiplied by pf (which most of the time is less than 1.0), consumers consume only in kW, which is almost always smaller in power compared with kVA.
Imagine, we are charged on the basis of kVA, but what we get is only in kW.
