I knew this song from childhood. I forgot the lyrics but the melody stayed with me. I didn't know the name of the singer, hence couldn't look for it. Three years ago, I was chatting with this unbelievably wonderful guy who shared his music playlist with me and there was this song. It reminded me of happier times when I would wait for my grandma to open the TV on Wednesday evenings to watch "ተሓድሶ". I didn't get to tell him how I fell more in love with him at that particular moment because, six months later, he passed away due to the war. It will be three years this coming December since he passed on but he will forever remain in my heart. I don't know or care what he was to anyone in his world, to me, he was a true soul's find.
