I just missed you! I was delivering a reefer load to Denver PA, at Acme Lancaster Distributor. Pennsylvania is always a nightmare for parking. I ended up going almost 4 days without a shower because all the Love's are full 24/7. I ended up just spending 16 bucks for a shower at a TA. Those Twin Tunnels through the mountains are off my company's route. I drove through them once and it costed my company 200 bucks supposedly. They always give me some hard to understand fuel route in PA, so I just change the settings on my garmin to avoid tolls until I'm outside of the state. If you are ever on the 78 Near Hamburg and need a place to park, there is a Cabella's that has infinite parking, and it's within walking distance of an Aldi/Walmart, plus multiple restaurants.
Sounds like a very bad place for my truck. Definitely going on do not go there right now. Loves truckstops are always full unfortunately and they usually have super small parking. I guess I could’ve went around this toll road as well somehow, but it is what it is. I think I’ve seen that Cabela’s that you are talking about. I think it’s on the left hand side on top of the hill whenever you are headed east.

First time my wife saw an Amish farmer hauling a cow I thought she was gonna laugh to herself to death. Ole boy was haulin freight. A single cow in a trailer behind his buggy. I’m pretty sure the Amish mafia is involved in Amish Trucking. Also those bakery stands suck. They don’t use sugar.
Our truckies can only drive for 11hrs but have to have rest stops in between every driver needs to show a log book with every detail. Also cops can pull over truckies for weighing & if loads tied down. Correct. If trucks are hard sided they look inside. Thats why our country has very few truck accidents. Also highways are 90kms driving thou towns are 50k unless passing schools 25kms or roadworks or vehicles/truck accidents than will put sign up unless it's closed of than detour is necessary. Cheers. Unless some idiot is trying to pass or crosses lanes thats when accidents happen.

Old trucks and gliders. Are great. I carry extra paper logs in case I make a mistake that way I can correct it. I use to have a bird dog that always rode with me to it's ashame it's illegal for you to take your favorite dog with you I sneak him out every now and then. LMAO
I just watched you drive through Fleetwood,PA. I really enjoy the videos as you go through these small towns; it's like really seeing what would be called, Americana. Are the videos we watch a little sped up as it appears the speed is more than what small towns would set as their speed limit?
Much appreciated, buddy. Speed limit through these small towns can be anywhere from 20 miles an hour to 35 miles an hour and I am very careful to follow that speed. I hardly ever drive over speed limit, but especially I do not do it in small towns like that. You always have to be ready if God forbid a small kid runs out in front of you or something.

Pre emissions truck before 99 I believe (engine 60 series Detroit) doesn't have all the epa crap that new trucks have. Less breakdowns.
Glider is a truck that doesn’t have any emissions and is not required to use electronic logbook.

@@faulkner146 believe it or not but I applied to work for them as my first job back in 2006 and they would not hire me because my driving record was really bad.
I even went to Kansas City to start the orientation, but they checked my driving record and they said I wouldn’t be eligible to work for them for like 2 1/2 years.
