I know right! Actually Helen, I've had a question about the floral bouquet that I used with the watercolour stiped background. From memory I stamped this when we were at Linda's house.... my memory is dodgy, but I thought it was a Lawn Fawn image, but maybe it's one of WPlus9's.... do you happen to know??
You know, Therese I just can't keep up with you, lol. Every video is filled with wonderful cards, new techniques, older techniques I've forgotten about and incredible tools, stamps etc. That does not and will not stop me from watching and learning. Gorgeous color combinations!🤩 I have likely said so before (am at the age where I am forgetting who I've told 'that' story to🤪)...I am a serial crafter, so there's usually some project in a bag that is accompanying me. What absolutely stunning backgrounds (and cards!). I'm really creatively 'stuck' right now, but I think I'll go and make a bunch of backgrounds now for when I have some more inspiration - I feel like it might kickstart my mojo! Thank you.

I usually do bring a little bit of coloring to do when on a road trip - and a few cards for my card-making friends I might meet along the way! Now if I could just convince my husband to take that very long flight to you - he could easily sleep the entire flight - what's the big deal?! x
Ooh, yes please and we could colour all day.... and they can go fishing (although I know you will want to do that too... so I'll take my colouring lol).

I love all the backgrounds, I do struggle to decide what I want to do. Looking forward to more ideas. I haven't been on a vacation in years, so I don't know if I would take something with me or not. I'm afraid Americans don't have a good track record for taking our vacations. We usually use that time for fixing up the house, getting caught up on gardening or putting on a new roof. lol
Ooh, I love to go on holidays, but it's also fabulous to get things done around the house that have been staring at me for years lol. We are lucky we have a camper trailer so we can head off for just a few days if we want.... it's been a little lacking lately as our borders were closed and now it hasn't stopped raining lol. We have plans for a short trip in June. Wish us luck! So happy to hear that you like the backgrounds Sheron, I've got a few more ideas coming soon! (ish) lol.
I really love how you have elevated the backgrounds once you assemble the cards. I enjoy making backgrounds ready to use for when I need to make some cards in a hurry.

I haven't cross-stitched in a hundred years..... I used to love it, now it's ALL papercraft for me. That's now kinda a lie isn't it? I am really enjoying playing with the Cricut too!
@@lostinpaper I love your Cricut videos. I recently bought a new Cricut. Having so much fun. Mine was 20 years old. Still used the overlays and cartridges. I cross stitched for years and just quit doing it. Didn't pick it up for 15 years or more. Since I got back into it, I constantly have a project or several going. I think I'm enjoying it more now than when I was younger.
@@TheAjjupiter The new Cricut and program are so easy to use, I used to have a Klik N Kut and it was a dinosaur and you needed a degree to use their design area lol.

When I do the smooshing technique, I like using one color and drying between layers, it gives the whole piece lots of depth. I love this color combo.
I totally agree, sometimes it can be scary for me to 'allow' the colours to mix, I'm obviously a control freak lol.
SO lovely, the bg made from strips of paper was my fave but everything was also my fave.k. The aqua and celery colours, mwah!
