Wir erinnern an die Pianistin Juliette Arányi (1906-1945):
Ausgebildet in Bratislava und Wien, trat sie 1927 als Solistin in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozarts Klavierkonzert in c-moll auf, was durch zahlreiche Berichte und Kritiken belegt ist. Seit den dreißiger Jahren lebte Arányi in Prag, von wo aus sie Konzertreisen nach Polen, Italien, die Niederlande und England unternahm. Zahlreiche Rezensionen dokumentieren das hohe Ansehen, das die Pianistin in der Musikwelt genoss. Arányi war auch der musikalischen Moderne gegenüber aufgeschlossen. Bohuslav Martinů, Viktor Ullmann und Alois Hába widmeten ihr mehrere Werke. Das ihr zugeeignete Concertino für Klavier und Orchester von Martinů konnte sie aber als Angehörige einer rassisch verfolgten jüdischen Minderheit nicht mehr zur Uraufführung bringen. Am 2. Juli 1942 wurden Juliette Arányi, ihr Mann Alexander Selig und die gemeinsame Tochter Niccola nach Theresienstadt deportiert. Den überlieferten Dokumenten zufolge gab die Pianistin dort noch mehrere Klavierabende mit Musik von Bach, Mozart, Debussy und Chopin. Am 6. Oktober 1944 wurde die Familie Selig ins KZ Auschwitz deportiert, wo alle drei ums Leben gekommen sind.

We remember the pianist Juliette Arányi (1906-1945):
Trained in Bratislava and Vienna, she appeared in 1927 as a soloist in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Piano Concerto in c minor, which is documented by numerous reports and reviews. From the 1930s on Arányi lived in Prague, from where she undertook concert tours to Poland, Italy, the Netherlands and England. Numerous reviews document the high regard that the pianist enjoyed in the music world. Arányi was also open to modern music. Bohuslav Martinů, Viktor Ullmann and Alois Hába dedicated several works to her. However, as a member of a racially persecuted Jewish minority, she was unable to premiere the Concertino for piano and orchestra by Martinů that was dedicated to her. On July 2, 1942, Juliette Arányi, her husband Alexander Selig and their daughter Niccola were deported to Theresienstadt. According to the surviving documents, the pianist gave several recitals there with music by Bach, Mozart, Debussy and Chopin. On October 6, 1944, the Selig family was deported to the Auschwitz concentration camp, where all three perished. - เพลง

Ania gave us a superb interpretation. And I loved that Petrof. From here it appears to be the P284 "Mistral".

_Herr Murdl_ , please allow me to give two suggestions.
The first, one of the girls playing W. A. Mozart's Piano Concert n° 20, K. 466, in d minor. My favourite key is d minor. And that is for sure my favourite Piano Concerto, even though I'm a Romantic Appreciator. And even though this Concerto ended in a bright and happy D-Major (due to the imposing happiness of the time), the way it starts the movement in the original key is superb. Not mentioning the extremely gloomy and anguished first Movement. I know how things work, but it would be lovely to hear one of the girls playing that Concerto.
The other suggestion, is each one of the girls in their respective String Instruments, with _Frau_ Okerlund at the Piano. An only Schubert Piano Trio programme. Both his _Notturno_ for Piano Trio (Op. 148, D.897) and his sublime Piano Trio n° 2, Op. 100, D. 929.
Hope you and the girls liked the ideas. It will be an honour to hear them playing those pieces.
During the first 2 minutes, it appears she is playing notes, but I couldn't hear them above the orchestra.
