Man I would kill to have been at this. This was recorded with some sort of potato flip phone and it still sounds absolutely amazing. I can’t imagine how this sounded live in person.
I went to one of chris' concerts. He said at the concert that he always sings for free and we pay him to travel. I love that.

I’ve always said that I gotta see him in concert one day! I don’t care if I’m the only Asian girl there! I agree, he’s one of the greatest singers of our generation if not the best. I know his genre is country but I feel like he can do any genre because he’s just that talented. He is his own genre! You can tell he’s well rounded and he has all these influences by the way he sings. You can hear some country, soul, blues, rock, metal even, bluegrass, etc. on top of that, he is a phenomenal songwriter, arranger, and guitar god! He can do it all. I’m so grateful to God for giving us this man because he soothes our soul and makes us feel all these emotions when he sings. Not a lot of singers can do that.

This is another amazing artist who finds a way into my soul. There is a lot of amazing talents out there but some hit people differently. He is one of my soul scratchers when I need some.
My FAVORITE song of his he’s ever done 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. This song was written by him in 2010, when he was in the band The Jompson Brothers. They have some amazing music, you should check it out as well.

Check out The Steeldrivers. It was a bluegrass band that Chris sang in. They have some awesome songs!!! A few to mention are: “If It Hadn’t Been for Love” , “Blue Side Of The Mountain”, “Midnight Train To Memphis”, “Drinking Dark Whiskey“.

Yes, he wrote for other ppl but he wasn't terrified to sing. Your literally watching a video that proves that internet rumor wrong. He was signed as a writer but the record companies didn't get behind his projects. This song is from his southern rock band Jompson Bros. Record companies and radio stations are all owned by large corporations that want certain images, they push and sell country pop..it's what is killing country music. They want everyone to like like Tim McGraw or Luke Bryant..it has nothing to do with skill.
