- Selenite gets its name from the moon goddess Selene who was honoured for her radiant beauty and harmonious nature. Selenite too has a peaceful, loving feel. Selenite forms as long sword-like crystals and could be called nature’s fibre optics, for as you tilt the crystal back and forth white light glides along it. Metaphysically this translates to selenite bringing light to any individual or situation, cleansing body, mind, soul and space.

I'm a waitress, I walked by a table and noticed a woman wearing an odd handmade necklace. I stopped and asked her what kind of crystal she was wearing? She told me so I went in the back and looked it up. I'm a moon child so I was irritated that I was not already aware of this stone. I decided I had to have one and went back to work. A short while later the woman found me in the restaurant and placed a beautiful piece of selenite in my hand. I hugged her and was so thankful for that gift. She smiled and said you're welcome, we parted ways. Never met her b4 in my life. What a perfect thoughtful gift.

this happened to me except i wanted to buy a geode talked myself out of weeks later someone gave me a huge tower of selenite nearly 10 times the size of the one i wanted to purchase the universe works it funny ways 😉
I want to share an experience I had with Selenite. I have been enamored with the crystal since I first saw it and now own several pieces of different shapes, but my first piece, a palm stone, holds my heart the most.
I work with children with special needs. I had one student who was born with half of a brain, and I had never seen her cross the midline of her body (meaning her right hand works on the right side and her left hand works on the left). She would bring her hands to the center, but never cross. I was in the habit of carrying my Selenite palm stone in my pocket, and one morning, she was a bit agitated so I took out the crystal and stroked her palm with it. It did the job nicely. But then, much to my surprise (and incredible joy), she grabbed the stone, reached across her body, and started stroking her other hand with it, in the same manner as I had. I could not believe my eyes. She did the same thing on other occasions as well. It is this experience that I think of any time I see (or hear of) Selenite.
What a wonderful testament to the power of Selenite and of the human spirit, thank you~

I got a Selenite heart a few weeks back. The power coming from it has been profound. I can place it on my body where there is pain and can feel it being pulled out, only to have 100% relief 15-20 minutes later. I also placed it on my third eye chakra while I was having anxiety and couldn't sleep, within minutes I passed out and had an amazing rest. I try to sleep with it under my pillow as much as possible and get a feeling of happiness when I hold it.
I have a selenite lamp that was the best purchase I ever made. Changes my whole demeanor the minute I walk in the room. Really helps wipe off other people's "stuff" and helps my room stay my sanctuary.
This is going to sound strange but I hug and cuddle my crystals to connect with them.
Nothing wrong with that!!! They dont discriminate! I sleep with them in my hands and pockets if Im wearing shorts.......

I'm new to crystal healing and recently bought a selenite tower for my living room, surrounding a bunch of other crystals, and loved it so much that I felt I needed one for my bedroom too, so I put it next to my bed and now I'm sleeping a much deeper sleep! That selenite is powerful! I love it! It also calms me down and helps with my anxiety.

I have a Selenite tower and had a section sliced off by a falling frame. I was upset and put it in a corner. Some months later I took a look at it and I noticed that it was regenerating !!! It has been about 5 years and where it was sliced off, a whole new striated skin has grown back. It has been amazing to observe. Sadly , no photo chronicle of regrowth.

One of my best friends and I were buying a tower each last week. One fell off the counter and sliced in half lengthwise. The owner gave us half each and said now we will be forever connected ❤
selenite is named for the selenium it really does contain & the adult Tolerable exposure intake MAX is .3milligrams per day vs 3 milligrams per day as toxic
I was holding a selenite log. (giant wand ) It was cold as ice and made my hand ache. I said, Oh, You are so cold". And instantly the crystal became room temperature. I guess it heard me. They are very magical. And it has never been that cold again.
I've given Selenite wands to friends as gifts, to help them release negative energies and for cleansing.
Working with Selenite, i've found it to be like another energy field/shield. Holding the space, no matter what for high frequency interaction. With angels & guides. Selenite is a truly blessed stone. God knew what he was doing! It helps greatly with any bone or body pains. And not just temporary relief but lasting healing! Polished selenite is fantastic. Definitely a little more sturdy but still very vulnerable to moisture. Definitely the embodiment of pure positive light in one's aura and one's entire life. Especially for those who pray.
Tonight I was nudged to meditate with my selenite crystals.. After taking a detoxing bentonite bath I meditated with my selenite and then smudged with my sage and this was all led by my intuition.. After this I was researching selenite and found that it was basically the “moon crystal”.. I went outside and to my surprise there was a full moon and further confirmation is this beautiful video.. I’m seriously blown away..❤️
Selenite keeps low vibrations from affecting our energy fields. It allows the inner light that each of us have to shine through clearly and brilliantly. The shine of selenite always reminds me of our nature as light beings who create our universe through conscious awareness and intention. I use my selenite wand to massage with circular clockwise motion to open and cleanse my chakra centers. I also will leave crystals used throughout the day in contact with selenite while I sleep to thoughtfully and lovingly recharge.
Selenite is my Healer!! She is always with me. Thank you I was not aware to put pieces on the corners. I can never have enough Selenite. (My Sely)

I have a little silver bowl that I put inside of an abalone shell inside the silver bowl I put pink Himalayan salt, selenite, fire agate and kyanite. I put a mixture of Palo Santo and white sage on top of the salt and burn it there for house cleaning and aura cleaning.
Once the white sage and Palow Santo are done burning I stir the ashes into the salt, I then use the “black salt” to sprinkle all around the outside of my home “to guard my house by night and day, and keep all evil things away.”

Wow, selenite must be pretty powerful. I've always felt that selenite is my favourite, like I'm almost drawn to it. I've been feeling really broken today. Im in the children's ward with my baby he's been quite ill and he had to have a spinal puncture today. It's been so draining and hearing all the other poor little darlings sick and in pain breaks your heart. I instantly felt better watching this video like the power went through my phone, if that's even possible.
Also I found it interesting how you said selenite can't be near water. Im a fire sign, Zodiac Leo, Tiger in the Chinese and Phenix in Egyptian
This is bizaar, I received two polished palm pieces of Selenite yesterday and last night during a meditation, I held one piece of Selenite in one hand and in the other a piece of Lapis Lazuli during my "calming meditation" which is a guided meditation at the seaside. I saw an owl on the top of a mountain looking down at me. It was just a quick flash. This was before I found this video today.
I remember using a selenite wand to get a poltergeist out of my friends body. This crystal is so magical! Helps you open up your crown chakra and connect to your higher self, angels and guides.

I never took crystals seriously until one day I had a throbbing stress headache and put a selenite piece up to my forehead - to my surprise the headache was sucked away somehow. The moisture got into the selenite chunk and it broke into a few different pieces so I’ve made them into earrings and adjustable pendants (so I can move them higher or lower down my body). Probably the best crystal for someone who grows strong emotions from environments, I’d say it’s my all time favourite!
Selenite has become my favorite go to crystal for everything. It has connected with me to such a level that I use for everything so thank you for this video 🙏
Selenite is my favorite crystal, but it is quite nauseating to work with over time because it is such a high vibrational crystal. I’ve found sleeping with it helps to give me rather lucid dreams, and meditating with it really gives me a nice blissful but highly buzzing feeling in my head (mostly forehead). It is such a powerful aid for most things. Information pours through me when I have it in hand.
I’m still learning to handle its energies and vibrations. :)
I used it to seal my energy a few nights ago and I ended up feeling very nauseas..?

@@cazsad8377 That can happen if you're not used to higher vibration crystals (say you vibrate at a different frequency-- it's like listening to music that is way too high, you're just not meant to stay with it/in it for an extended period of time). Equate it, also, to changing altitudes all of a sudden, or coming home from a rather long roadtrip (maybe even by boat xD)... It's a change of state that you're not familiar with. It tends to make you feel that way. I get nauseous, too. It happens.
Maybe try amethyst. C: it's kind of a similar stone but more nurturing. It's not as harsh and will be a good way to cleans your energy. I wouldn't recommend sealing what you need to kind of cast out. So its likely the selenite was hoping to just cleanse you but couldn't. You might have not been using it properly. I've read that often selenite acts like a channel. So meditate with it instead and then cleanse with it. It should help.
@@cazsad8377 Not sure that this is correct at all (considering I'm not an expert), but I've been there before and was pretty disoriented once, too. Sometimes we just need different crystals for different things, you know. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I am fairly familiar with my crystals and I have got a few nice pieces of Amethyst here too. I had actually had a big day, so perhaps it wasn't a great idea to use my Selenite when I did.
I put my Selenite lamp into my bedroom last night, on my bedside table and oh wow, I had the BEST restful sleep :)

I was connecting for the first time with my selenite and a pure white cat that I had never seen before, came into my garden
I've had quartz crystal around me since 1990, when I married my husband...he had collected some he found while living in Arkansas and I immediately felt a connection with these crystals, yet I didn't understand it then. About 15 yrs ago I started really getting into crystals and in the past 6-8 yrs using them more around my house and as jewelry. I have many different types- I am always wearing tiger-eye for anxiety. Here's the strange part, I discovered selenite about 5 yrs ago and was really drawn to, it was like "Omagosh, I HAVE to have this!!"...all these years I've had it near me where I spend most of my time and really had no idea I was intuitively using it for it's main purpose, I just chose it because I loved the feeling I got from it!
Hello Adam. I purchased a new tumbled Selenite sphere. I slept with it under my pillow and I swear on everything, It was talking to me in a dream. It was in my mom's voice, who is still living. At first I was dreaming but then I was awake and I still heard it. Once I was fully awake it stopped. I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced this and what it may mean. I mean my dream was so vivid that it actually felt like a memory opposed to an actual dream... Love and Light🌑✨✳️💫

Thanks so much for the time you take to record these videos! I've found selenite especially valuable as a tool and guide for dreamwork - specifically for illuminating shadows in the subconscious. It has been hugely transformational during "downtime" after crisis or trauma to help me see and work through any lingering emotional or psychic residue. I associate it with the Temperance and Moon card in Tarot.

I have a selenite lamp, yin Yang pieces , and smaller selenite wands. I love it. I sleep better when it’s near my bedside. Works well with amethyst!

I love your videos! I've noticed that the selenite does connect to the angelic realm. I also have used it to cleanse my third eye and astral doorway. It's a powerful crystal. One of my favorites!

selenite has the excellent ability of relieving pain. it is also excellent for casting illusions, allowing one to "fake it till they make it" to the next level of attenuation.

I didn't know that selenite is a self-cleansing crystal and it also helps with the cleansing of other crystals. Out of inspiration I put the selenite in the center and my baby-crystals around it. It feels more balanced. What it really helped me is sorting out too much information I've been getting in my work. Thank you for sharing this Adam.
