- Moonstone derives its name from the sheen that glides across the crystal’s surface as it’s tilted from side to side, reminiscent of the moon. Moonstone is found in a variety of colours including peach, black, brown, grey, green and the beautiful white, which often exhibits a blue rainbow gleam, earning it the name rainbow moonstone. Rainbow Moonstone is a crystal of manifesting new beginnings, whether that be a new job, business, habit, home, relationship or baby. It reminds you that no matter what happened yesterday, you can create a new day today, exactly to your liking. Rainbow Moonstone allows you to strengthen your bond with the moon, feeling her energies ebb and flow within you.

I just got my very first rainbow moonstone ring and as I put it near my third eye I saw a flash of a male figure... I also left it on when I went to sleep and dreamed of my beloved departed grandmother, whom I hadn't seen in decades.

Thank you for this video. I am pretty new to metaphysics. After a tarot reading, it was suggested I get a rainbow moonstone to help me strengthen my intuition. While doing that, I was and still am working on overcoming affects of gaslighting/Cognitive dissonance from child abuse. I bought a pretty large rainbow moonstone from India a couple of months ago. I have purchased quite a collection of various crystals and stones for a while now. Something about this rainbow moonstone invokes such a different response for me. I must carry it around with me everywhere! I even go to sleep with it. It’s become a part of me for which I couldn’t quite understand. I swear it comforts me like a baby blanket. I recently got my first moonstone and I love it! It's so beautiful it looks like it has a little light in it...it reflects light and creates a yellowish shadow against my white blanket.
I started wearing the rainbow moonstone and got on my cycle the next day. It has helped me to release a lot of bottled up emotions in my meditating.

Thank you, Adam. I'm a Cancer so I'm ruled by the moon. I love Moonstone and have always been drawn to it, I have several pieces of Jewelry that have moonstone set in it. I also, have the Peach, black, white, brownish, and rainbow moonstone. I did not know it came in green, I find that very interesting. I had read once before to not wear your moonstone on a Full Moon because it could conflict with the moons energy and I thought that was odd. I was always called to my moonstone on the full moon, so I ignored that and whore it anyway. Thanks, for clarifying what I sorta already instinctively knew, Adam. Full Moon blessings, blessed be.

I have both a black and a white moonstone that I love.
Moonstone for the mom, carnelian for the dad, and green crystal (ideally emerald or green aventurine) for 3rd energy of the creation, the child to be placed at the foot of the bed. 🔽
We have the most beautiful moon flowers, we usually get at least 2/3 bloom at once and they bloom a couple of times a year. The perfume of a moon flower is one of the most beautiful smells, it’s hard to explain but it’s just gorgeous. I’m going to get some more moonstones now as I only have 2 rings with them and one tumble stone and do a full moon ritual with the moon flowers. Also this was very informative thank you 💖

I got so sick with the eclipse and the bloodmoon! I love moonstone it called to me all the time it dose not let me go...I don’t know why I did not wear my moonstone
i actually broke my foot during the eclipse. just walking along outside and my foot rolled and snapped 2 bones! i have since read that native americans will not go outside during an eclipse.

I love moonstone. Black moonstone is actually not a true moonstone but a feldspar called Larvakite.

I found a few random rocks that I think contain moonstone. They don't have the bright colors but they're still pretty and it's just specks of it.
Being two spirit, it is definitely easier to feel the effects these spiritual things from the earth. In my traditions, all sacred medicine is more powerful for that day.

I almost forgot had one (if do). mine seems really extra rainbow like kind of, still nice. mine seems really kind of vintage, not even marked but I'm sure sterling silver area. reconnecting with it after awhile I was thinking could be kind of a shell ring but still think possible moonstone but haven't seen image close to matching non the less, it's vintage style and what kind of add bit if beauty. thanks for video!

Just wondering about using the days either side of the full moon for cleansing crystals. I’m sure the middle day would be the most energetic, but if weather is an issue ( or I’ve missed they main middle day of the cycle!) is is as effective ?

I have order a Rainbow moonstone on Amazon but when it arrive the stone looks quite different,when you look at it in the shade it looks kinda light blue and when you hold it to the light it looks like when the sun is setting.
It looks more like a opalite crystal.
I assume any white moonstone would apply to all you have said. Maybe less so the colored varieties?

What does if it mean if your _Upranta gemstone is a Moonstone?_
I have come across this video as I have recently purchased my beautiful rainbow moon stone ring, along with a tigers eye ring, and my Labradorite ring. I heard you mention something so interesting it caught my attention big time. You stated to balance the feminine and masculine energy you can use moon stone and a sun stone. Can you suggest any other combinations as well to use to balance these energies out? As I am a woman but my husband and I are in constant conflict as he says I'm too masculine that's his job. I have a question lately I’ve been reading that rainbow moonstone is not a moonstone it’s a white labradorite. Even though they are in the feldspar family they supposedly have different composition. Adam if you see this message would you please clarify? Thank you!

I bought a stone that was just labelled “white moonstone” but I think it’s rainbow moonstone because it has such a beautiful blue sheen to it in the light.

Hey, loved the video. Everyone says moonstone is a milky white sort of colour but my moonstone ring is really quite clear with what looks like a cloud inside, it's constantly got a blue sheen and looks incredibly purple, is this still a moonstone?
People have said it looks quite magical, I haven't stopped wearing it since, I was convinced it was a moonstone but after watching some of these videos I feel like it isn't? Is it possible to have a mixed crystal?
