The camera angles are CRAZY good for all of the ultimates. One of my favorites is surprisingly Dodoria, I like that it went into a first person perspective.

Like DBS Broly actually being able to drive someones head through a mountain like he did with goku in the movie, as long as you are close to a wall and your opponent has their back towards it? Or Muten Roshi having an ACTUAL Legendary Finish (Sorta) that trigger if you kill an enemy with the Mafuba, sealing them in the jar and giving Roshi a special victory pose? Or that Tapions Ultimate Animation is different on normal sized characters than on giants?
It bothers me how Caulifla doesn't have SS1 and just skips straight to SS2. It's like the opposite of the BT4 mod for BT3 that has SS1 Caulifla, but not SS2 Cabba.
I gonna get hated for this but I don't like how many of these supers are basically cutscenes. It looks great, yeah, but imo it gets repetitive, specially with how many of these end with a Kamehameha or a variant. For example, Hellzone Grenade could work like it does in Fighterz, surrounding your opponent and following them. But 90% of the time, we get a cinematic of our character beating the enemy and ending with a beam.
yeah sadly cuz goku's most devastating attacks have always just been kamehamehas and spirit bombs... hey at least in sparking zero, for once ya boy vegeta has something goku doesnt, a much more varied set of ultimates across his variations!
Since the game's initial release I have been an active participant dedicating several hours to its exploration. Based on my experience thus far I can confidently assert that it ranks among the top games of 2024 if not holding the premier position. It certainly merits a place in the top three video games of this year. I have strategically selected my top five characters which I primarily employ for team battles in both Player versus Player (PvP) and Player versus Environment (PvE) modes. The gameplay is engaging and enjoyable. Unlike my experience with Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 the grinding aspect in this game does not feel monotonous or uninspiring. For reasons unknown I was never able to develop an interest in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. So this felt incredibly nice as it's technically Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 4 it's just updated with all of the more recent characters. I can't wait to see what DLC and additional downloadable content come to fruition later on.
