it wasnt predictable to me , i did think something bad was going to happen, but i was assuming drive by when the dad was driving the car, not the car blowing up
Equally so with the gun being caught at the airport, I thought a hit would take place at the restaurant. But nothing happened? I did predict the car bomb though 100% as that scene started! 😂 I laughed so hard, I wish it could have *looked* a bit more expensive the explosion.
@@stevenwest1494 yeah but outside of Iraq that is what a carbomb looks like. XD Also, Tyson was supposed to survive it even if he was standing next to it.
Yes, its turning more and more into a soap opera. I mean Tyson made the dumbest move ever, you are on high alert, there's a weird ass Prius following you around every corner, and your next move is to buy the navigator and gift it to your dad? Also why did his dad accept the car? Didn't he make a big fuss about not taking a single penny that was earned through Dwight Manfredi. The shows off for season 2, esp this episode. There are a lot of fun and interesting moments, but the car blow up is the dumbest one of all, even a drive-by would have felt right.
This frikkin ending is what sets Tyson on a path into Darkness, i bet he is going all in with the violent revenge for this. He finally got to do a nice thing for his dad and do some growing as a person. And then that gift ends up killing his father.
Even the 37 minutes are filled with filler content, with scenes involving serving food at the weed shop, or creating a website, teaching Dwight's daughter how to handle a gun, stuff that doesn't go anywhere.
The last scene would've been better if they didn't show the white car speeding off. 02 seconds after the explosion. They should have left that car out of the scene entirely
Just glad to see some movement. I am much more invested in the villains this season, I like Thresher and Bevilaqua, but the show needs to pick it up. But if these next episodes are a roller coaster, it can work.
So did I! I really wish Tyson would've taken it seriously when he saw that Prius 2x. Listen to your boss especially when you're working for people like him. I get it.. the money is good but you're constantly putting your loved ones in danger, no matter if it's nothing or a big situation. He should've known better. 😔🤦♀️
And yes.. I wrote my comment as if it were real life, but it truly is for a lot of people. I was involved in some shady business in my 20s that made me a lot of money, illicit substances, my bills paid etc. I quit when my last trip from the city was a trunk full of wayyy more than I was initially told. I'm glad I walked away & with no harm due. I really do love this show but there's something lacking & I can't put my finger on it.
@@chrissybennett7985I’m hooked cause there’s alot more pros than cons and Stallone makes the show really good. But it could use slightly better story writing and some deeper conflicts. I think season one was brilliant with the FBI agent fling/ conflict and the biker gang in the mix. Now it seems like they’re all over the place trying to find a main antagonist.
I find it so hard to take Thresher seriously or consider him more than a mild annoyance. It’s painfully obvious he is fucking with much bigger fish than himself. I’m expecting Thresher to be killed by the Triads, who most likely become the real threat there. But idk, New York seems so weak that I’m not sure how anybody can take them seriously at all, so I’m expecting Chickie is dying with the Captain who attended the sit down taking over.
Yea how do you buy a car that is hot at the moment and gift it to your dad, even the happy dad face before blowing up, i was laughing my ass off. It was so predictable compared to rest of the show. It was such a weird predictable ending.
@@mamacitatroy938 maybe its the shows way of bringing a darker side most the show hes looking for dwights approval his pops getting hurt might be the trigger no going back etc etc 😬
@@DQamR Yes I get that, but it could have been a drive by or something more clever. The car blowing up with the excited father just feels so soap opera ish and tyson screaming nooooo!
The last scene made me sade when tyson dad got in explosion but i hope he's ok the next episode, Tyson should have been more careful if he saw that White car twice he shouldn't let his dad drive that mafia car because it was already exposed to everyone that this is Dwight car let see what happens next.
Yeah, classic case of "we can't kill any of the mc but their associates/family are fair game!", its okay though just adds to the cheesy-ness which we should all be used to be now.
IMO, it's bad writing, how could Tyson notice that white car twice and still shrug it off by buying his dad that navigator in the end? It was obvious that the navigator was being tailed, But then again he's a rookie. I guess Tyson is safe, since I always thought that he was eventually going to die, but his Dad took that it. Somebody close to Dwight is eventually going to perish. Now I think it's going to be my second guess, Bodhi. He should have bailed when he had the chance, it might've been foreshadowing. I hope it won't be this season, or him at all. As he provides a lot of comedic relief. It seems to be either Thresher or Bill, at least at first glance. But we might be in for a twist, maybe some unfinished business from the 1st season? I have an afterthought that it could have well been Bill though. It'd make sense that Dwight's second hand is being sought after. At least in terms of who's closest to him. I would suspect Jackie but they didn't have a secret conversation until towards the end.
Yeah like you were just tailed yesterday why would you give your pops a target and not even tell him. But maybe he just assumed Dwight wasn't in there so it's fine either way it was weak writing. But I wonder now if Tyson is freed by the fact his father is no longer around. He can go full criminal now
My guess is that was the Japanese leader as he was instructing his employee ,with that ,can frame thresher to Dwight and having him gone..the father didn't die as nobody was in the car and every explosion usually sent away everything that he near and was pretty obvious that something was about to happen as usually when they focus in a simple man doing their stuff usually something bad happen to that person ans yeah the white car
I think that Bill and Dwight will eventually team up and take down Thresher... Dwight will take Thresher's market when hes gone and offer Bill a big piece of the pie... Bill wanted nothing to do with Thresher and that felt like foreshadowing, being the writers could have easily made them allies as a larger threat for Dwight if there wasn't another story to be told.
Just glad to see some movement. I am much more invested in the villains this season, I like Thresher and Bevilaqua, but the show needs to pick it up. But if these next episodes are a roller coaster, it can work. But..... the contrivances are becoming a bit much. He cuts a deal with Bevilaqua too easy, and then the next scene BB says "I don't know why I did that." and then before that, Chickie arbitrarily missing the meeting from a random plot device of carrying a gun into the airport. A boss doing that? Idc if he is a dumb boss, that was stupid writing...... the show is schlocky fun but the characters still need to behave consistently.
I think bill is gonna have his back against the triad and thresher when it hits the fan but the writers made bill upset about the Tulsa deal leaving potential conflict in the future. And as far as chikie I saw it consistent with his behavior cause it seems his crew has been looking at him side eyed and wondering if he’s fit to run the crew. He’s been drunk a lot and moving sloppy lately so I think that’s why they made the gun scene to further solidify him as a moron/ unfit boss.
I think bill respects/admires Dwight and didn’t even realize he had caved like that at the meeting. But I do agree that the writers need to pick it up cause overall it is slacking compared to last season.
this is the most intense episode from all i have seen after show returned i felt kinda bored as too many usless talks happening especially after ending i am now back on track and interested what going to happen but in general in life there are consquences for your actions and u shold know that if u live openely and work for someone that u are 99% in danger.
Car explosion predictable when Tyson bought it. Tyson was an idiot. I expect Chickie to be killed by his men avenging the father. Triad a wildcard, but probably allies with Dwight eventuality after Thresher dies.
But Chickie has always been unstable and impulsive. Murking your pops has to take a toll some kind of toll. Being an alcoholic will make your brain foggy, not saying you're wrong because I criticized the writing regarding the "Navigator" as well. But I'm just coping here.
I guess it could have been a drive-by, car bomb felt more natural to me (who would use a Prius for a driveby?) but either way it was clear a couple minutes into that episode that dad was a goner. I really do love this show, but that much foreshadowing is just over the top. Could have easily made it more of a surprise, or had them fail, or had it all be in Tyson's head and incinuate he's getting paranoid - just feel like any of those options would have just been much more interesting. I'm grasping at straws though, still an entertaining episode.
