I don't know about other countries. But in South Africa most choirs learn music of by heart. It feels weird paging through music while singing 😂

Unbelievable..the execution was not only accurate for pitch, but also for the intention of the prayer...I am a musician as well as a Catholic priest so I appreciate twice what was sung and composed.

@@juliesomethinorother we don’t worship her, but she is greatly honored as the mother of God (Theotokos). As for the “queen of heaven” title, in ancient Israel the kings mother was the queen. So in accordance with tradition we believe God crowned her after her death.

I'm part of a choir(soprano 1)but if I'm gonna sing this, I don't think I'd be able to sing it well bcos I'll just cry the whole time singing it. This is such a very beautiful composition of Franco Prinsloo and it describes very well the beauty and grace of our Blessed Virgin Mary😭😍

Where is this score published, for crying out loud??? A masterpiece. And these kids... They bring me tears everytime I watch.
It's like a soulful cry to a loving Mother who is just as soulful, if not more, in her response to a child well-loved.
