Under 3 hours ago, I had never heard of Todd. I just happened upon this concert and listened to it all. To say I have just been blown away by this man's talent, showmanship and songs is an understatement. It is like a new door has appeared in my life. I feel pretty emotional at the moment I have to say. Thanks for posting.
Yeah about 4 years ago I found Todd. Same thing. Hes so honest its therapeutic.
It was like that for me too. Give Nils Lofgren a listen if ya haven't already. Got some tension behind that double wide near by, time to go friend. Look me up if you happen to drive thru our town down Memphis, Tennessee. Till then, drive between and not beside those lines.

I got to meet Todd Snider after a show in Vancouver, BC in 2008. The guy was so chill, just a stand up guy, and ill-prepared for the chilly Canadian weather. A truly outstanding songwriter, and I got to carry his guitar back to his bus. The show was awesome, and Elvis was awesome too. Pat's Pub, February 2008.
Saw him in the late 90s as Todd Snider & The Nervous Wrecks at the New Daisy in Memphis TN.

I found Todd almost 30 years ago through Margaritaville records. I knew his album “songs for the daily planet“ was amazing. He has not yet to failed in his debut and has contributed to the current work that youth should be aware in their lives. He was observant in his beginnings and contributing in the times since he started.
Love Todd Snider, whenever I recommend him here in UK, no one has ever seemed to have heard of him. Shame, because he’s amazing!
Damn hero, poet, genius, inspiration...
This guy inspires me! I have not yet figured out exactly what he inspires me to actually do, but I'm workin' on it. And if I ever actually do something I'll have him to thank for the inspiration. Ralph Waldo Emerson once said that "to believe what is true in your heart is true for all men, that is genius". Thank you Todd for being a genius...kind of. Ya know? Peace.
Why isn't Todd Snider more famous than he is. Most of all of his songs I enjoy to its fullest. Damn I mean come on people open your ears. He is amazing.

Something Funny Just like Todd Snider stated in his book, Why would popularity change your views on the musician?
If he were more famous, it would be more difficult to get tickets to see him. Also he might not try as hard and he'd be playing less intimate venues. I'm happy with his audience size just as it is, I likes my stoner folk singers humble and hungry.
I just found Todd Snider today and it's been a Todd Snider Marathon all day! I can't figure out why the man is not hella famous!

I am so glad you are out there. I met your music in Florida so long ago. Thank you. Of Buffet did anything. If this in fact true. He was a friend to you. I listened to your album over and over and over. Its never to late .
Todd considers himself a folk singer and I agree, but this performance of "The Devil You Know" is a flat out rock n roll jam...love that rock n roll mandolin! That Eddie Van Halen band ain't got nothing on them. I've said it before every time I hear him he does something to make me say "Damn he's good!" LOVE HIM!!

Todd Snider is a mix of Bob Dylan / Arlo Guthrie / Neil Young / & the comedian Mitch Hedberg. But really Snider is an unbelievable musician. You are just a product of you're influences.

Todd is the perfect example of how you can love someone even though you disagree with them. I'm incredibly conservative but I still love Todd and his music, even though I disagree with quite a few lyrics in his songs. He loves his music and I love him for it.
