I love watching Splatoon videos outside of JP when I hear something like this 0:37. Wiper never been in the JP meta. Stamper did though. It’s really great to see different meta is existing in same game but different cultures.
I'm a newer player to the Splatoon series, less than 200 hours as of writing this comment. I picked up Wiper on a whim one day and it felt fun to use. While I too like going against what is 'meta', I don't think I'll be dropping Wiper from my own main weapon pool since I also care about how fun the weapon for me is. It's why I picked up Range Blaster, since getting high frag games with that weapon, while not always the case, feels real satisfying to me.
Yea I’m also a wiper main. I tend to focus on a more slayer way of playing. It’s definitely not how the weapon is best played but it’s fun. Swim speed wiper is a menace.
@@starlightrai I heard that Wiper can be versatile in the directions you go with it, which I think makes the weapon fun too with putting your own unique spins on how to play it! Me I focus on a punish heavy playstyle in a weird defensive/supporter style.
Time and time again, I have been forced to ink home base when using the wiper, and I HATE it. Shooters, please be the ones to ink home base instead of having me do it.
I remember picking up Splash at the start of 3 because I liked the aggressive potential that I seen in 2. I had just begun to use it once I started pushing my aim before 3. When I used it, I won, A LOT. Very different to that of my 2 results but I just thought it was more experience. I liked how Crab was like an instant backline button, it really helped with adaptability and Burst really helped with mobility too! Then it became meta and yes, it did make sense then but my interest slowly just died. I didn't want to use the weapon. I used it because I thought the weapon suited me and my interests but now because of its reputation, it's not me expressing myself anymore, it's using an objectively -good- better weapon. Edited because using a weapon that feels powerful is something that should be achieved for all weapons. Rather than asking for hard nerfs, I ask for weapons to achieve the same power and maybe a Points For Special nerf (and longer Crab endlag)
I'm hoping that someday it falls into the spot tri was in during 2 where it's still good but not the top of the meta best weapon in the game. That way people like you can obviously actually enjoy it.
i feel like the way to fix gloogas is to remove the falloff damage, so it has something over other weapons to make you feel more dangerous, even if the falloff being removed only made you win 5% more fights
Honestly I do really agree with this to a degree, or at least decrease the falloff to the point where it can do 50 just a bit further outside the effective range. They kinda backed themselves into a corner with not being able to buff Glooga's damage in turret form (because 525 is in the non-English name “Kelvin 525”, going with the gals), as MPU was honestly nice for Gloogas being able to essentially increase the 2 hit range, plus combo with mobility mode shots. Alternatively there are other areas it would be nice to improve like reducing the lag post roll or SLIGHTLY buffing the painting in mobility mode (so it has more of a purpose vs turret's killing)
Decreasing the falloff rate would really help this weapon! I keep saying that, because every game there is at least 1 or 2 splats I miss because Glooga turns into a 3 shot splat.
I dont play gloogas or even dualies but this seems like a really good change. More weapons need these unique traits like splash's perfect accuracy and squiffers full speed charge in the air.
This is exactly what I’ve been saying. I just think they should just increase turret mode damage to make falloff two shots more consistent and increase the overall damage the weapon does to specials. Honestly should just do 62 dmg like .96

A personal idea I'd like to see for some weapons, especially slower firing ones like 96 and Gloogas, is maybe give them piercing shots or something (like how chargers can)? That way you could fire right through teammates and potentially multiple enemies?
Dude, i love that you’re saying this! Meta weapons are so annoying to play against nowadays cuz its always a splash, neo-splash, or a wiper on every team and more often than not, an E-liter. Meta weapons are fun but they dont feel special anymore. Other good weapons such as dualie squelchers get like, no usage even in x-rank and s+. Amazing content as always.
I remember when dualie squelchers were absolutely everywhere in S2. They were also still somewhat popular in this game on release, I wonder what happened? I honestly feel like playing them now
I like the idea of maining a weapon for the thematic ideas around them rather than to avoid or indulge in the games meta. Its my reasoning for maining the original inkbrush in splatoon 1, nzap 85, and now splatana wiper
I always thought that a cool addition they could add to the gloogas is that the shots deal very small damage over time for a second or two after being hit as if it burns you since its a hot glue gun. But that probably isn't something to be added in just a balance patch.
Same (for loving underrated weapons), I main the tetra too but I fell in love with babozzler bc is very underrated, u just hold the shot and if u hit the enemy u can just end him with tap shots, it's just super funny and I'm actually happy that damage up isn't back bc it makes this weapon feel diff from other chargers, I just hope it gets maybe a buff abt the charging speed on air. Maybe that's too much but still super funny to use (4⭐ already)
I agree with not using the “meta” weapons because I like the feel of using smth unique that others don’t like nozzlenoses, too tuber, reef lux, and sloshers
Glooga is one of my mains, and now that I started using tetra too, I'm back to being a dualie main I guess, I started using glooga because I liked the two shots from gals but wanted something that has a great feeling, played glooga, fell in love and to me they feel better than in s2, probably because of the kit.
i feel like gloogas isnt bad its just the meta surrounding it and weapons in its own class hard counter it and as or if 😒 the meta changes i feel like it would be used a lot more and some hitbox buffs would be nice and some ink efficiency from using wall
I am a proud Splatana Wiper main, and I honestly don't care if it's META or not. I just tried it out in the test fire and had a blast, it just felt right. Keep in mind that the Splatana Wiper used to be very weak at the start of the game, but that didn't stop me from maining it and having fun with it. Now, after many buffs to the weapon and special, the Wiper is considered one of the best weapons in the game, does this mean that I will drop it because it's too popular? Or that it's not "cool" anymore? No. It just means that there are more Wiper players out there. Really, I just like the weapon because its a cool sword with an awesome sound effect when hitting directs, has my favorite sub weapon, and my favorite special in the game. I don't see myself changing mains any time soon. Plus, I don't think it will be nerfed, at least not to the point of being an awful weapon. It's strong, but it definitely doesn't feel overpowered, or even too good. It's reliable, but it's damage is much lower than most other weapons, it has high mobility, but it can still be countered, and it has a decent kit, but nothing too crazy. The most I can see them doing is maybe increasing it's points for special to 200. But the main weapon feels super balanced, even though it's one of the strongest in the game, it encourages an aggressive and fun playstyle, and it keeps threats like Crab Tank and other object based specials in check, so I'd say its a very healthy top tier. Not something overwhelming that ruins the game by feeling way better than everything else.
My main issue with glooga is the bullet drop is very unforgiving. If you aim a little too high, its damage is knocked down to 40 so it just doesn’t kill in 2 shots. This goes in hand with all the uneven terrain in splatoon so i find myself having to 3 shot. Also the shot speed sucks I also have an issue with getting adaptive teammates on solo Que so this weapon feels un impactful at times. When this weapon cooks, it definitely is nasty
I was on the rotation too and I saw the Glooga Dualies which made me wanna use it but sadly I was playing Custom jet squelcher and also I was grinding qr chunks at the same time too. For my build I’m running 2.3 quick respawn, 2sub Swim speed up, one sub of ink and sub resistance up, quick super jump and ink recovery up, and stealth jump
I used gloogas a bit in S2 and found them to be overall a good weapon with solid strengths and moderate weaknesses. In S3 I think the shot velocity or base mobility of others increased or something as shots on reticle miss a lot more than they used to. Granted I only have around 60k xp on them this game, but it is pretty noticable against wiper in particular. I'd say play what you like. If you like wiper use it. It will likely fall off one day anyway so at least you can say you were a dedicated user of the weapon.
Ah A man of culture a low tier hero I honestly like playing the lower tier weapons because they are a lot of fun despite being bad my favorite low tier weapon being Dapple which I’m still waiting for a viable kit even after 5 kits in a row (Pain) I do play like 3 top tier weapons mostly because they are fun, Tetras, Stamper, and Nautilus
Just watching the intro, the entire reason I dropped splash is because of how meta it became. It is weird, but some of us just like non meta stuff. It is why a play NU, PU, and LC on Pokemon showdown. Oddly, I do keep eliter in my pocket 😬
As a sploosh main, I can empathize with not wanting to use meta weapons. There's a saying that goes "There's always a bigger fish in the sea", in other words, there's always going to be another player that's better at the weapon that you're using than you, this is especially the case for meta weapons. You may be doing well for your team if you use a meta weapon but If you come across another player with the same meta weapon and has a higher x power, you don't stand a chance.
I’m the same way. I don’t like using weapons that are meta, just feels boring if I’m using the same weapon EVERYONE else is using. I do agree I think wiper has become meta, I love Stamper and Wiper, but I’ve seen wiper being used much more lately. Almost every X battle I’m in I see a wiper user
I had the same mentality about using the meta in different games I love for a long time (splatoon, MtG, mk8d, etc). Some day, though, I just decided I'd play Splash for a few days, and it's such a fun weapon. Same with ballpoint, considering I already have lots of experience with Heavy and Hydra. I don't main anything (struggling to find the right one for me) but I switch between the high tiers, low tiers, and anything between, because I enjoy it all pretty much
(1:30) I relate a lot to the fact that you don't like to play meta weapons. I have never touched a Splash-O-Matic or Sloshing Machine. I would never drop a weapon tho, only because it became meta in some way. I wouldn't be happy about the fact I'm not "unique" anymore, but this is my specialty and I won't give it away for something like this, but I don't judge you for it just to make it clear.
I relate to the meta comment so much, whenever I play something good I always feel like Im getting carried by the weapon so I end up feeling better about myself when I play harder weapons like slosher
Playing non-meta choices is generally funner for me as well :) I think it has to do with the feeling of more raw skill being required for high skill levels, such as aim, positioning, awareness, etc. Knowing that you are potentially better in skill regards than your opponents due to winning with “meh” weapons feels quite satisfying. Skill is still absolutely needed for meta picks, though I feel as if they are not quite as important (chargers are safe from targets, shooters can strafe and have little end lag, etc, though some do not apply to this)
It’s kinda funny you say that knowing that splash is definitely one of the hardest main weapons to play well even when it’s one of the most played weapons in the game. Cant say the same for machine though
yeah playing non meta weapons is more fun since if pretty much everyone else is using the same 2 or 3 weapons eventually you'll learn to play against them.

Unironically I think it's YOU and a lot of other pros whose influencing the meta which normal for any game. I have never seen more tetra dualies in my games ever than before. Then I always see people trying to copy ur whole fit/splashtag also. Same thing applies with chara also
I dropped the Splash O Matic sense the Crab Tank is nerfed, and i use Tentatek Splattershot, because i love Triple Inkstrikes, i'm the shooter main, Also, i would love to learn Duelie Squelchers Again, or Splat Duelies, problem is, i don't like Inkjet in my opinion, it's one of my worst Specials in Splatoon 3, and it would fit that Burst Bombs and Tri-Zooka would be a best bet in S3 in my opinion for Emperry Duelies. Also, i don't play Glooga Duelies, but it's a good video, btw.

I don’t like picking meta weapons in this game either, but not because I specifically try to ignore the meta, but current meta weapons just feel oddly generic, and not fun to play in my opinion. Splash is probably the most generic Shooter in Splatoon history, Crab Tank is overrated, Stamper is okay, but Zipcaster just isn’t on many interesting weapons like Dualies or literally any Charger, I shouldn’t need Burst Bombs to justify the dopamine rush of ANY weapon, and call me picky but I still don’t like Reefslider on Tetras. Why can’t they put Burst Bomb on weapons that REALLY want it (Dynamo Roller, E-Liter, Gloogas, Jet Squelcher, Octobrush, etc.) ? Rambling aside, it’s good to see you doing what you do best. Play Dualies. One more thing. Do you think Special Charge Up is of any value on Gloogas? Lately I’ve been experimenting with a Main of it, and it feels good in heated 2v1s and in overtime.
I understand people who don't like playing meta weapons. I dropped k52 gal for heavy remix and k dynamo near the end of Splatoon 2 because first it was too good and second I felt like the wall didn't allow me to do plays I did with the vanilla 52, heavy remix and the k dynamo. And I was having so much fun with the aerospray PG and the Splooch 7 from time to time. Actually since the game is still fresh we don't have a lot of options yet but between inkbrush and carbon deco I have a lot of fun playing frontline and gravitate to tentatek or 52 from time to time.
Honestly I get where you are coming from and why you have been feeling that way with Wiper. I remember only deciding to play the splatanas out of getting really annoyed with the Crab Tanks I've been seeing in ranked games. I picture the situation like picking a character in a fighting game who was perceived as low tier for a while until the community found out how good it actually is and suddenly that feeling of being special with that character suddenly feels lost in value. I play clash blaster in only Tower Control and Ink Brush in only Clam Blitz. Splatana Wiper and .52 Gal are what I use in every mode and I've been starting to get more used to playing with Undercover lately. Something about playing weapons that aren't "Meta" feel more fun.
I feel the same way about meta weapons I personally like to play weapons that make me feel like I am not getting "carried" by the main weapon if you know what I mean (obviously no hate towards meta pushers)
I’m a splatana main in the beginning of 3 it was a very high skilled weapon but that didn’t stop me. Now everyone plays it I have no problem with it. But it’s annoying when the other stamper on your team can’t pull their weight so you have to play for them.
Glooga dualies main happy to see this :) and even I need to fight Japanese everyday I still use glooga, and weird weapons every time, very seldom splash or machine or splatanas But honest really need the new season news asap because this season is terrible to play
Respect to those who know how to use Gloogas efficiently because I personally prefer the fast stuff and slow weapons feel like I’m handicapping myself, so I struggled. I don’t like how people focus so much on the meta, so I’m just mentally rolling my eyes towards it. It gets annoying fast because you can use the best weapon and still suck at it and lose a battle. Nozzlenose isn’t the best but I had some good progress with the L-3 due to experience in Salmon Run.

Play with whatever you have the most fun with (im saying this as a whiper main for whom the "meta" weapon of stamper just felt too slow and sluggish to play, same with piant- vs octobrush(i prefer the faster more responsive one, thats also why i hate blasters (yet love chargers for some reason)))
A while ago I used to be the only wiper in games, now there's always 2 or 3. I'm glad more people are playing wiper but maybe they should learn it before jumping into things like x-battles 🤔
Lol Solo maining the Squeezer means theres a 100% chance my weapon will never become meta, even if it gets splat bomb and booyah/Missles. People just aren't disciplined/skilled enough to pick it up so its comfortable knowing I'll encounter less mirrors. Which works out because under any circumstance I hate fighting mirror matches. Especially in shooters/fighters.
im too in deep in the wiper meta (5 stars, 500ish hours) to leave now. just picking up secondaries like naut or octobrush and playing them more works for me.
Glooga does feel slower in my opinion as a glooga second main it feels WAY slower and has a way slower playstyle and i dont like them that much but i still play them tho
Splatana wiper got way better cuz they made stamp hitbox obnoxious ... i liked stamp already before now i just think its brain dead and lacks execution cuz it has a crutch hurtbox. I was real good with stamp before buff but people kept complaining like it was a bad special. I just think meta mindset makes people lack creativity which is my reaspn for not liking playing whatevers 'meta' Its not good mindset if you care about pushing the bounds of a game
I feel like the shots going around people is just a part of the weapon and .96 gal has the same problem but is as fun as gloogas. But in my honest opinion i think gloogas are better since there movement potential and kit work extremely well with the weapon and what its meant to do
@@Chase247 i think alot of weapons suffered from the transition of splat2 to splat3. Gloogas are definitely a big contender but brellas, rollers, and splat dualies are also suffering due to poor map design or that they barely touched the weapon to make it slightly more viable. Kits can also be a problem for the weapon even tho some weapons have amazing kits.
Maxed out (5 star) my Splatana. It promotes such a fast aggro play style that I really love. Now, I’m onto my next fast aggro weapon. Any opinions what I should main next?
i used to play wiper as a main constantly, but as of recent ive been getting pretty tired of it. the gameplay for me got stale after a while, when it used to be unique. i mostly play squiffer and tetra now.

Why do you not play meta :( I play splash a lot and it is just because of the weapon is fun, and not bc of something like crab And my playstyle is just not to play for crab I think you can use wiper as long as it is fun
@@jemo7520 one caveat: while it does have a ohko up close, outside of melee range its kill time is actually really slow. Still a very good weapon though; the range makes up for the slow kill time usually.
I know the "against meta" feeling. Seeing the same over and over make it boring and how want to play boring things? Luckily, I get always natural attracted to the non meta weapons (or characters in fighting games). I liked to play the Splash in Splatoon 2, but in 3 the kits feel not fun to play. I still love the main weapon and I still love Gloogas even I have no idea in what mode I should play it. Maybe I should try rainmaker, even I have two weapons already for it. 🤔 Clam Blitz? No, I start liking CB, because Blaster and Rapid Blaster is very fun to play in that mode. Also I tried last year to play with Glooga in CB, but it did not felt right. But I want to play Glooga! 😭

I used gloogas a bit in S2 and found them to be overall a good weapon with solid strengths and moderate weaknesses. In S3 I think the shot velocity or base mobility of others increased or something as shots on reticle miss a lot more than they used to. Granted I only have around 60k xp on them this game, but it is pretty noticable against wiper in particular. I'd say play what you like. If you like wiper use it. It will likely fall off one day anyway so at least you can say you were a dedicated user of the weapon.

I honestly like playing the lower tier weapons because they are a lot of fun despite being bad my favorite low tier weapon being Dapple which I’m still waiting for a viable kit even after 5 kits in a row (Pain)
I do play like 3 top tier weapons mostly because they are fun, Tetras, Stamper, and Nautilus
Just watching the intro, the entire reason I dropped splash is because of how meta it became. It is weird, but some of us just like non meta stuff. It is why a play NU, PU, and LC on Pokemon showdown.

As a sploosh main, I can empathize with not wanting to use meta weapons. There's a saying that goes "There's always a bigger fish in the sea", in other words, there's always going to be another player that's better at the weapon that you're using than you, this is especially the case for meta weapons.
You may be doing well for your team if you use a meta weapon but If you come across another player with the same meta weapon and has a higher x power, you don't stand a chance.
I’m the same way. I don’t like using weapons that are meta, just feels boring if I’m using the same weapon EVERYONE else is using. I do agree I think wiper has become meta, I love Stamper and Wiper, but I’ve seen wiper being used much more lately. Almost every X battle I’m in I see a wiper user
I had the same mentality about using the meta in different games I love for a long time (splatoon, MtG, mk8d, etc). Some day, though, I just decided I'd play Splash for a few days, and it's such a fun weapon. Same with ballpoint, considering I already have lots of experience with Heavy and Hydra. I don't main anything (struggling to find the right one for me) but I switch between the high tiers, low tiers, and anything between, because I enjoy it all pretty much

I would never drop a weapon tho, only because it became meta in some way.

I relate to the meta comment so much, whenever I play something good I always feel like Im getting carried by the weapon so I end up feeling better about myself when I play harder weapons like slosher
Playing non-meta choices is generally funner for me as well :)
I think it has to do with the feeling of more raw skill being required for high skill levels, such as aim, positioning, awareness, etc. Knowing that you are potentially better in skill regards than your opponents due to winning with “meh” weapons feels quite satisfying. Skill is still absolutely needed for meta picks, though I feel as if they are not quite as important (chargers are safe from targets, shooters can strafe and have little end lag, etc, though some do not apply to this)
Dropping meta weapons also helped me learn some cool weapons like the H3
I hope they buff more of the lower tier weapons so they can play up to the metas like machine
It’s kinda funny you say that knowing that splash is definitely one of the hardest main weapons to play well even when it’s one of the most played weapons in the game. Cant say the same for machine though
yeah playing non meta weapons is more fun since if pretty much everyone else is using the same 2 or 3 weapons eventually you'll learn to play against them.

Unironically I think it's YOU and a lot of other pros whose influencing the meta which normal for any game. I have never seen more tetra dualies in my games ever than before. Then I always see people trying to copy ur whole fit/splashtag also. Same thing applies with chara also

I dropped the Splash O Matic sense the Crab Tank is nerfed, and i use Tentatek Splattershot, because i love Triple Inkstrikes, i'm the shooter main, Also, i would love to learn Duelie Squelchers Again, or Splat Duelies, problem is, i don't like Inkjet in my opinion, it's one of my worst Specials in Splatoon 3, and it would fit that Burst Bombs and Tri-Zooka would be a best bet in S3 in my opinion for Emperry Duelies. Also, i don't play Glooga Duelies, but it's a good video, btw.
Good to see you’ve had a change of heart. I don’t like picking meta weapons in this game either, but not because I specifically try to ignore the meta, but current meta weapons just feel oddly generic, and not fun to play in my opinion. Splash is probably the most generic Shooter in Splatoon history, Crab Tank is overrated, Stamper is okay, but Zipcaster just isn’t on many interesting weapons like Dualies or literally any Charger, I shouldn’t need Burst Bombs to justify the dopamine rush of ANY weapon, and call me picky but I still don’t like Reefslider on Tetras. Why can’t they put Burst Bomb on weapons that REALLY want it (Dynamo Roller, E-Liter, Gloogas, Jet Squelcher, Octobrush, etc.) ? Rambling aside, it’s good to see you doing what you do best. Play Dualies. One more thing. Do you think Special Charge Up is of any value on Gloogas? Lately I’ve been experimenting with a Main of it, and it feels good in heated 2v1s and in overtime.

I understand people who don't like playing meta weapons. I dropped k52 gal for heavy remix and k dynamo near the end of Splatoon 2 because first it was too good and second I felt like the wall didn't allow me to do plays I did with the vanilla 52, heavy remix and the k dynamo. And I was having so much fun with the aerospray PG and the Splooch 7 from time to time.
Actually since the game is still fresh we don't have a lot of options yet but between inkbrush and carbon deco I have a lot of fun playing frontline and gravitate to tentatek or 52 from time to time.
Honestly I get where you are coming from and why you have been feeling that way with Wiper. I remember only deciding to play the splatanas out of getting really annoyed with the Crab Tanks I've been seeing in ranked games. I picture the situation like picking a character in a fighting game who was perceived as low tier for a while until the community found out how good it actually is and suddenly that feeling of being special with that character suddenly feels lost in value. I play clash blaster in only Tower Control and Ink Brush in only Clam Blitz. Splatana Wiper and .52 Gal are what I use in every mode and I've been starting to get more used to playing with Undercover lately. Something about playing weapons that aren't "Meta" feel more fun.

I’m a splatana main in the beginning of 3 it was a very high skilled weapon but that didn’t stop me. Now everyone plays it I have no problem with it. But it’s annoying when the other stamper on your team can’t pull their weight so you have to play for them.

Respect to those who know how to use Gloogas efficiently because I personally prefer the fast stuff and slow weapons feel like I’m handicapping myself, so I struggled.
I don’t like how people focus so much on the meta, so I’m just mentally rolling my eyes towards it. It gets annoying fast because you can use the best weapon and still suck at it and lose a battle. Nozzlenose isn’t the best but I had some good progress with the L-3 due to experience in Salmon Run.

A while ago I used to be the only wiper in games, now there's always 2 or 3. I'm glad more people are playing wiper but maybe they should learn it before jumping into things like x-battles 🤔
Lol Solo maining the Squeezer means theres a 100% chance my weapon will never become meta, even if it gets splat bomb and booyah/Missles. People just aren't disciplined/skilled enough to pick it up so its comfortable knowing I'll encounter less mirrors. Which works out because under any circumstance I hate fighting mirror matches. Especially in shooters/fighters.
im too in deep in the wiper meta (5 stars, 500ish hours) to leave now. just picking up secondaries like naut or octobrush and playing them more works for me.

Gloogas have bad fire rate and other problems, but I feel like dodge rolls are a huge advantage for dualies
The brella in splatoon 2 was good, but not popular, so i enjoyed using it a lot!

Glooga does feel slower in my opinion as a glooga second main it feels WAY slower and has a way slower playstyle and i dont like them that much but i still play them tho
Splatana wiper got way better cuz they made stamp hitbox obnoxious ... i liked stamp already before now i just think its brain dead and lacks execution cuz it has a crutch hurtbox. I was real good with stamp before buff but people kept complaining like it was a bad special.

I main Gloogas and notice the kill time is quicker when I dodge roll off a ledge and am in the air. Is this just me or do others feel this too?
I feel like the shots going around people is just a part of the weapon and .96 gal has the same problem but is as fun as gloogas. But in my honest opinion i think gloogas are better since there movement potential and kit work extremely well with the weapon and what its meant to do
You're right, but I'm comparing it to Splatoon 2 Glooga Dualies, where they felt way more accurate.
@@Chase247 i think alot of weapons suffered from the transition of splat2 to splat3. Gloogas are definitely a big contender but brellas, rollers, and splat dualies are also suffering due to poor map design or that they barely touched the weapon to make it slightly more viable. Kits can also be a problem for the weapon even tho some weapons have amazing kits.

i used to play wiper as a main constantly, but as of recent ive been getting pretty tired of it. the gameplay for me got stale after a while, when it used to be unique. i mostly play squiffer and tetra now.
You may have forgotten chase but in non-turrent mode, it's three shots to kill instead of 2 when in torrent mode

Amazing mobility, paint, fast strafe speed, very strong under ledges, has an OHKO and fast kill time. That’s not even all of it
@@jemo7520 one caveat: while it does have a ohko up close, outside of melee range its kill time is actually really slow. Still a very good weapon though; the range makes up for the slow kill time usually.

I know the "against meta" feeling. Seeing the same over and over make it boring and how want to play boring things? Luckily, I get always natural attracted to the non meta weapons (or characters in fighting games).
I liked to play the Splash in Splatoon 2, but in 3 the kits feel not fun to play. I still love the main weapon and I still love Gloogas even I have no idea in what mode I should play it. Maybe I should try rainmaker, even I have two weapons already for it. 🤔 Clam Blitz? No, I start liking CB, because Blaster and Rapid Blaster is very fun to play in that mode. Also I tried last year to play with Glooga in CB, but it did not felt right. But I want to play Glooga! 😭
