The story behind Lizzy Hale giving her that guitar is touching. When Lizzy was on tour early in her career, Jason Todd of Shinedown did this exact thing To Lizzy on stage and when she tried to give it back he said he bought it for her and when she asked what she could do, he told her to do this for a female guitarist who she thought was amazing. She also asked Dany that when she has made it, to do this for an up and coming female guitarist she thinks rocks as well. It is this beautiful "pay it forward" story that I hope continues on for decades. These girls just kick so much ass.
It’s cool to see Dany today where Lzzy Hale was around the time of Halestorm’s first few albums. The pay it forward act does not surprise me with Lzzy Hale such a big gentle heart. Wait! Am I talking about Lzzy or Dany? Lzzy recounts the time her band got called up at the last minute to backup Ronnie James Dio because Coheed and Cambria could not make the show. She said she learned from him how to meet fans and to meet them all even if it takes you into the wee hours and that they will never forget how you and your band made them feel. (Not talking merely about M & G) I sense this same sensitivity with Dany and her sisters.
@@SophiaAphrodite paying it forward, i love how humble and the gratitude these sisters have, im sooooo proud of them , they have no idea how talented they actually are lol but this grandpa musician/ knows what this level of playing is and not everyone possesses this skill, when i used to play back in the dinosaur days we had all tubes and analog and if a monitor blew out you are screwed but the technical stage equipment has changed so much i wouldn’t even know how to play with a band anymore, click tracking was just starting when i got off stage , out of moms basement and got a job 😊guess that’s why i love these girls so much , the skill that they have at this age is amazing, it took me years to get to a stage and my flame went out before anything good happened 😊
"...waiting for a true rock band for decades" is exactly what we all feel about the girls. They made me watch MTV after 3 decades with their performance at VMAs this year. Never thought I will ever cry to a rock band before. Wait till you hear Pau's soulful ballads on piano or while playing drums. In 2015 when I quit smoking I thought I had conquered addiction. The sisters had other ideas, of course. More importantly The Warning have brought back the intelligence of 60s, 70s, 80s through their profound metaphorical poetry that conveys relevant messages about society today. Mostly written by Pau their intellectualism set them apart from bands over past few decades. Yesterday, 25th November, was 5th anniversary of their 2nd LP, a concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene. Unbelievable that a middle school girl going through her emo phase can pen such dark, deep metaphors. Pau is next to Dylan, Cohen & Waters.
The greatest thing about Dany is that she's simultaneously the funniest goofball, the most likeable, sunshiny person you'll ever meet in your life, AND a meticulously dedicated professional who doesn't mess around when it comes work, and knows exactly everything she's saying and doing.
She is my favorite rock singer, hands down. Her voice is exceptional. She gets a lot of credit for her range, which is great, and I love it, but what really gets me is her enunciations and when she really opens her throat and sings in her lower register. She has this amazing timbre in her voice that can't be taught. And good lord what stage presence.
Dany is becoming the face of rock in her generation. Like those before her, she’s carving out her niche and showing us how it’s done. What a classy, articulate and talented woman she is.
Dany is a very fine musician, and an even better human. Supporting The Warning over the years has been the best decision I’ve ever made. Their journey has been beautiful to watch.
Finally an up to date tour of her rig, thank you very much for this video. Best band I have seen in decades, they sound amazing, one of those rare bands that are just better live.
Dany is my absolute favourite and the best front woman in rock n roll. Playing both rhythm & lead guitar while singing lead and interacting with the crowd with full passion. What a boss lady 🤘🔥💕
There have been female rockstars going back to Grace Slick in the 60s. But I honestly can't think of any one of them who was as much of an authentically likable, fun, life-loving, appreciative, emotionally balanced, sweet soul offstage as Dany seems to be....... While ALSO being such an authentically fierce, passionate, talented, legit monster of a rockstar onstage as Dany is. That kind of magnetism and charisma is like a super power.
The same could be said about Pau. Ale is one of the most stunning women I've ever seen and it was she who originally drew me to The Warning but the more I see of the band the more I love Pau. She's adorable, funny, and an absolute beast on the drums.

Dany, thanks for your presentation. Thanks for being SOBER and NORMAL. Im a guitar player/ songwriter ( acoustic) but i love great music. I came across your band a few months ago. I really like your guitar playing and your stage presence ( its a live drama...isnt it ?). I love the band because each of you just go total gonzo on every song. Nobody just goes through the motions. Each member is fully invested. And last but NOT least...You three PLAY TOGETHER. Its a real Alchemy. That makes it...a masterpiece. Im a fan. For real.
I always wanted to see how knowledgeable Dany was with gear... And I'm definitely not disappointed... The fact that she loaded her own Kemper is amazing... 🤘
Dany honestly seems like such a cool person! Every video I see of her, I'm struck by her... sincerity, for lack of a better word. Her and both her sisters; they always give the impression of being driven, above all else, by love - love for their art, love for their fans, love for themselves and for each other. I can't think of any other musicians who bring such a wholesome energy _and_ such astonishing talent! And case in point, I find it really interesting that Dany calls that first guitar "she", and talks about her in overtly romantic terms. I suppose the relationship between a musician and her instrument must necessarily be an intimate one, but that bit of humanization really does suggest a mindset/worldview fundamentally rooted in compassion. It's honestly quite heartwarming!
Porque en español es "La guitarra" entonces "La" es un artículo de género femenino, no es ✖️El guitarra✖️. Por eso Dany dice "Ella" (She) . No creo que tenga que ver con Romanticismo sino con la Gramática del Español.
@@jesuselizondo3770I think it is a passion for the PRS. It is "her baby". People refer to inanimate objects by such nouns and pronouns when they really are connected to an item. Musicians to instruments that they have special connection or history with. Men and some women with a much loved/used car. Etc. I agree with the original post, she really loves that guitar.
@@jesuselizondo3770 Sorry, I don't speak Spanish - but I _think_ I get the gist of what you're saying. I know that Spanish has gendered grammar, and I did consider if that's all that was going on - but, Dany called the other two guitars "it", not "she". And she _did_ use romantic language, saying she "fell in love" with the guitar, and she compared trying to find the right guitar to "dating". Of course, it's not _literally_ romantic. But there's definite passion and caring there, and I think it's interesting that she chose those words for that guitar specifically.
I know nothing about guitars, amps, pedal boards, etc. (actually I'm a keyboard/acoustic piano geek), but I love to listen and learn from anyone as passionate about their craft as Dany is. Can't wait till she starts her masterclasses again, I may have to up my Patreon subscription just for that.
I love this lady what pleasure it was to get an inside look at her gear and how she works with it. Such a sweet personality and boy is she a nerd lol 🤣🤟⚡🔥
It's wonderful to see a young professional musician be into her stage sound production. She is willing to keep learning and growing to earn it. Hats off to her family. I understand her dad is the big motivator but at some point you have to say these young sisters are ready to go get it! Good job ladies. And Dad.
So talented and the way she talks about her gear as if she has been paying for 40 years lol but for her age 23 her band is already 10 years old. The Warning are my fav new band not because they are really young and are amazing musicians they are its because they don't sound like anyone out there rocking And it's true Dany when people say you are saving RocnknRoll you really are because your music in a strange way sticks in my head for days like the whole package the arrangement etc. its like when i heard Metallica for the first time ad im 57 years old So thanks to Dany Pau and Ale for bringing us new Rock/Metal cant wait for the next album. I have been WÄRNED!!!!!!
The last time I came to this channel, I watched Suffocation and Nile Gear videos, now I'm watching a Dany Villarreal's Gear Video, this is amazing Edit: I love her Red PRS, looks amazing
Talented, well-spoken, humble, appears sweet, funny & above all else- ABSOLUTE STAR ONSTAGE. Her moves onstage drive me wild. Doesn't hurt she's an absolute stunner.
Her English amazes me. I know she and her sisters have been speaking English since they were very small, but Spanish is her primary language and they grew up and continue to live in Monterrey, Mexico. She's got a very little accent, but the inflections, the idiom, it's so natural. Even the "er's" and "um's"
I think being from Nueva Leone that is adjacent to USA it helps to pick up the American accent. Rudy has it too. Their parents don't. Like many urban educated Indians I am trilingual with more proficiency in English, having studied the language since nursery days. However, accent wise we are more towards the London accent.
@@MrSudeepdas Possibly because of a teacher at their school, all three have a "Los Angeles" accent. Ale is "West Los Angeles/Santa Monica", with Pau being distinctly San Fernando Valley, and someone said she even sounds like a "Valley Girl" when speaking Spanish. Dany is more "East Los Angeles", which is heavily Hispanic, and many households have an elder in the house who is from the old country, so the children still pick a bit of it up. Dany said in an interview that she thinks in BOTH English and Spanish.
@@tunanorth Now i will have to store your wonderfully detailed comment about their accents. To me they all sounded Southern. LOL. Yes, I can confirm that multi-linguals with sufficient proficiency in languages do think in a particular language while conversing or writing in it. Its not translation. Its about the brain atomatically switching from one language to the other. Right now I am mentally "conversing" with you in English which is "supposed" to be my 2nd language but de facto my "mother tongue".
@@tunanorthThey all speak with a regio accent; it's the particular accent from Monterrey. The difference with Pau is that she has a more noticeable "fresa" tone which frequently heard in people that come from well-off families.
Just like I've been learning Spanish in bits and pieces thanks to The Warning's videos, this is helping me become more technically knowledgable in bits and pieces. Much appreciated!
What you say is very true, she has other older videos explaining how she uses her old Helix Line 6 (pedal board) I speak English quite well but my mother tongue is Spanish and listening Dany speaking in Spanish is adorable, much more so than when she speaks in English, although she and her sisters do everything perfectly!
Dany is my idol! Literally the reason why i picked the guitar and start learning❤ she is awesome, as a musician but also as a person as well. Been supporting The Warning since their Enter Sandman cover. Gonna see them april 19th in Haarlem, the Netherlands (which where i'm frrom) saw them this year in Nijmegen when opening for Royal Blood. Even though it was a short set but it was worth it! Now i got myself a VIP ticket!
I saw them when they supported Halestorm on part of their Mayday tour in 2022 and they are awesome live and have a huge sound that you can feel also. Love this band and these sisters. I've been following them for years now.
Man, this is so cool. Love to see Dany geeking out about her gear, even when I don't understad a lot of it (not a musician myself). I can still see how much she loves what she does. Nicest Rockstar on the planet! 🤘⚡💖
Very interesting. Big fan of The Warning and this feels like seeing a side of Dany we don't always realise is there - the professional. Thanks for posting this.
A little info about the girls… They are 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico. They fell in love with rock music when their parents bought them the video game “Rock-band”. That’s how everything started. The band just celebrated their 10 year anniversary. - 👩🏼 Daniela (Dany) Guitar and lead vocals. She is 23 years old. She plays piano and saxophone 🎷. She is sponsored by PRS. She loves donuts 🍩. Her main hobby is diamond painting 🖼️. She just started a collection of pictures of herself next to fire extinguishers🧯 from all over the world. She is a sweetheart, very loving girl and disciplined. She has the best voice for rock music in the industry today. Only Lzzy Hale can compete with Dany. On tour she always has to have fresh fruit. 🍉 🍎 🍊 - 🧑🏻🦰 Paulina (Pau) Drums and vocals. She is 21 years old. She is sponsored by Sabian. She plays piano. 🎹 She collects Anime and Vinyls. She writes almost all the lyrics for the band. She is a genius firecracker 🧨 She is an amazing drummer and she can sing while she plays, very difficult thing to do. She has a tremendous voice that transmits a lot of emotion. She is the lead singer in many of their songs. NEVER tell her in the “meet and greets” that she is short person, she’ll get mad. She is going to make you cry when she sings the song “black holes”. Prepare the tissues 😢. - 👧🏻 Alejandra (Ale) Bass and Vocals. She is sponsored by Spector. She plays piano 🎹. This girl is the youngest (18) but she is the tallest. Ale is a tremendous bass player, she is a clean, clear and consistent player. She sings well but she doesn’t like to sing. She prefers the backing vocals. She loves Takis chips (fire). NEVER put pineapple in her pizza 🍕, she will get mad. She is very reserved, but very smart!. When things are going out of control in the band, she is the voice of reason. She has super strength powers, she can break an apple with her little bare hands 🍏💪🏻.
I never guessed you 3 were sisters ! That's even better ! Ale is so cool on bass, Paulina is a drama queen ( makes me laugh, does these anime poses, so cute ) Daniella fantastic guitars and vocals, pretty too. ( I have to say each one...is pretty or somebody will get mad. What helps is that's it is true...successful art makes people better looking. More fulfilled ) ...But your parents are the Great Ones because of their care, you girls are NORMAL, Sober, Talented smart. Anchored. Stable, Secure, Creative. That benefits guys like me...who, while surfing the internet find a great band and inspiration for better art. Thank you Parents and you 3 girls, great art. Great music.

Did I sense a quote from a certain TEDX speech, fellow fan? :P
@@streamlinedengine Yes, you sensed correctly
Jesus this is a creepy comment
@@burntvirtueIt's a reference to one of their earliest live performances from TedX.
Im a fan. For real.
Just discovered them! They're awesome ❤❤
What a delight this young woman is, so talented and likeable.
I always wanted to see how knowledgeable Dany was with gear... And I'm definitely not disappointed... The fact that she loaded her own Kemper is amazing... 🤘
She and her sisters are the new face of Rock!
Her enthusiasm and intellect are massive. What a delightful bright sharp person!! 🤟 🎸
Dany just makes everyday better!!!!!😊
I was at that show in Texas when Lzzy gave her that guitar. Really special moment for both of them, you could tell.
The last time I came to this channel, I watched Suffocation and Nile Gear videos, now I'm watching a Dany Villarreal's Gear Video, this is amazing
Edit: I love her Red PRS, looks amazing
Talented, well-spoken, humble, appears sweet, funny & above all else- ABSOLUTE STAR ONSTAGE. Her moves onstage drive me wild. Doesn't hurt she's an absolute stunner.
Love the warning best rock band in years 🤘love Lzzy and Matt suport a Dani🤘
Her English amazes me. I know she and her sisters have been speaking English since they were very small, but Spanish is her primary language and they grew up and continue to live in Monterrey, Mexico. She's got a very little accent, but the inflections, the idiom, it's so natural. Even the "er's" and "um's"
Listening to her speaking Spanish is fantastic, it's very sweet
The Crimson Queen, Dany Villarreal of The WARNING! 🤘
Just like I've been learning Spanish in bits and pieces thanks to The Warning's videos, this is helping me become more technically knowledgable in bits and pieces. Much appreciated!
Great to hear!
One of "The Warning Effects".😁🤘🤘🤘
Dany is my idol! Literally the reason why i picked the guitar and start learning❤ she is awesome, as a musician but also as a person as well. Been supporting The Warning since their Enter Sandman cover. Gonna see them april 19th in Haarlem, the Netherlands (which where i'm frrom) saw them this year in Nijmegen when opening for Royal Blood. Even though it was a short set but it was worth it! Now i got myself a VIP ticket!
Saw them supporting Muse in Glasgow - outstanding 🙌
I saw them when they supported Halestorm on part of their Mayday tour in 2022 and they are awesome live and have a huge sound that you can feel also. Love this band and these sisters. I've been following them for years now.
What a HUMBLE COOLNESS, from her. Wish them the best!
I love that she is still a fan girl of her heroes…you can tell
One of the best rock guitarist and singer in this era in my opinion.. It's hard to play guitar and sing at the same time.
es hermoso cuando alguien habla de lo que le gusta y podes ver ese brillo en sus ojos...❤🔥
A little info about the girls…
They are 3 sisters from Monterrey, Mexico.
- 🧑🏻🦰 Paulina (Pau) Drums and vocals.
She is 21 years old.
She is sponsored by Sabian.
She plays piano. 🎹
She collects Anime and Vinyls.
She writes almost all the lyrics for the band.
She is a genius firecracker 🧨
She is an amazing drummer and she can sing while she plays, very difficult thing to do.
Pau repents that her aversion to fruits stopped her growing taller 🤣🤣🤣
I never guessed you 3 were sisters ! That's even better ! Ale is so cool on bass, Paulina is a drama queen ( makes me laugh, does these anime poses, so cute ) Daniella fantastic guitars and vocals, pretty too. ( I have to say each one...is pretty or somebody will get mad. What helps is that's it is true...successful art makes people better looking. More fulfilled )
...But your parents are the Great Ones because of their care, you girls are NORMAL, Sober, Talented smart. Anchored. Stable, Secure, Creative.
That benefits guys like me...who, while surfing the internet find a great band and inspiration for better art.
Thank you Parents and you 3 girls, great art. Great music.
Bassplayers get all the hand and finger muscles. 😂
Muy buen análisis.....Que profundidad.......👋👋👋👋
@@dantepineda2199 I wish you well Dante...and your 2 sisters. Group hug. Love to you 3.
Dany is such a joy!!
Super Rocker right there! Been a huge fan since the first 5min I saw them open for Three Days Grace in Nov 22!!
That's a very nice collection of guitars, and Dany has them. 🤘
Down to earth and real, and so much talent,
Currently the most views of any video on this website in the last three years! And it only took a week. You picked the right Gal!
We've had a couple of bigger videos, but one of our biggest videos in the past couple of years for sure and it has only been a week. The pandemic was really tough for us to navigate because our videos require us to film with artists in-person.
@@digitaltourbus interesting. I looked through your past videos sorted by the number of views. Every video with more views was at least 3 years old, most were 4, 5 or more. Great turnout.
@@MTH58 We have a Motionless In White video from last year that has over 100,000 views. This video with Daniela is going to have a bigger view count soon enough though.
@@digitaltourbus Thanks. I must have missed that one. FYI the fans would show up for her sisters too.
@@MTH58 Those videos are coming soon.
I was at the show when she was given the Explorer. It was awesome to see.
I'm a simple person. I see The Warning. I see Dany. I see the video.
x2
A ray of sunshine in the dark.
Yeah same
I appreciate that type of simplicity
Same
YOOOO That's so cool that Matt Bellamy gave Dany a guitar! I've been a Muse fan forever and I discovered The Warning through their cover of Hysteria, so this feels like a full-circle moment. 🥰
I just got Warned!! a couple months ago and I am in love with this band! Dani is such a people person, and you can't help but fall under her spell when she's Rockin!!!
She's an amazing singer/guitarist...rock on'!!!
Love her gear and her sound... I'm just waiting for the day Dany gets her hands on a hot rod custom Fender Stratocaster and rips a few blues riffs for us.
The Warning playing blues will be the icing on the cake for me 🤞
As a non-musician, I love seeing how the magic is brought to life 🤩✨🎸 And Dany is amazing - unbelievably cheerful 100% of the time ☺❤
Beautiful young lady Beautiful Spirit and Extremely Talented 🎸🤘🥁
I watched her and the band progress over the years and they sound and play better and BETTER EVERY time I hear them...Keep up the amazing work Dani, Pau, and Ale
Such a sweet person. It's always nice to know her a bit more
Dany is awesome! If any video with any member of The Warning comes up, I am always going to watch it.
LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
Awesome!🤘
