And yes When koyuki sang I've got a feeling, I got goosebumps as he had the courage to carry on despite the overwhelming odds. It was made even better when his bandmates gradually joined in. Eventually ryusuke joined in and gave that mind-blowing filthy guitar solo.
Everytime I read the mange I have to listen ot this... It's so good. Really one of the best Mangas I've read. Great Music. I really would've enjoyed a second season.
or at least some ovas of the consert in seatle, tribute to eddie lee, and grateful sound 9 ... r at least the last two of them. with that i would have died happy

Local shows (backyards, parking lots, basements, etc) normally still have that atmosphere. But considering how this Beck performance is at a Japanese music festival, one important thing about live performances in Japan is that most Japanese concert venues don’t allow recording video or audio during live performances, so those shows are all about enjoying the performance. I attended a two day music festival in Japan once and while watching multiple bands across both days from morning to night, I only ever saw one smartphone get raised up through the crowd to record a performance for about 10 seconds before it was quickly put away.
Anyone who is an anime fan should watch this at least once. It’s something special. Watched this back when I was in high school and it’s still great in 2025.

Badr Aboujeab i used to think the same thing until I read the Beck manga (which continues beyond the anime storyline)...it is surprisingly an addictive read even though theres obviously no sound
