I've seen them several times through the years, the last time was such a trainwreck. House PA wasn't good enough so they brought a giant pa in and it sounded like total shit, they blocked off the balcony and set up projectors, and half the show was home movies instead of music, their newer albums are 60% fluff filler and 3 or 4 good songs, where is the metal Joey...where? Ross the Boss is kicking your ass lately, stop being lazy, man up and make a full record of kick ass METAL songs like you used to do. You gonna let Ross on his own out metal Manowar without a fight??
thats kinda like when i saw them. i'm the infamous youtuber who did the video "the fall of manowar" though i did that video for the reasons you list. I dug Gods of War, but Lord of Steel was mostly a trainwreck.
I don't keep this band so loud as is said, i like kings of metal and triumph of steel and fighting the world masterpieces, i keep that, "loudest band in this world", is pretty exaggerated
You can say what you want about manowar. Yes they are over the top and eventually they take their image too seriously, yes nowadays they talk a lot of bullshit and in some way they cheating their long lived fans as fuck... but maaan the music is and will ever be really somthing impending and genius. For this last point, thank you Manowar!!!!
