Unfortunately the description becomes too long if I add this to it, but for anyone who is wondering why Asriel is a Pacifist boss, and not a Genocide boss, I'll explain below: The reason why Asriel is a Pacifist, not a Genocide fight, is because you are "saving" Asriel. After transforming out of his Flower form, Asriel remembered from the Asgore fight that he is a big reason why the Underground became so hellish; after he killed Chara (He was jealous Chara was getting the family attention even since she moved in for being unusually kind) in a fit of rage he broke down and realized what he had done, nearly killing himself. Asgore went insane as a result, thus establishing the rule of "kill or be killed" while training all monsters to obey this rule. Meanwhile, Asriel was revived by Alphys but in Flower form without a soul. While this event helped teach Asriel (now Flowey) a lesson about true kindness, he is still nothing more than a helpless Flower without a soul. He was doomed to observe all those around him turn into insane killing machines and a world where hatred this is the norm. This continued for generations as Flowey observed the mess he played a huge hand in creating until a Pacifist Frisk arrived. However, Flowey forget about this overtime as he more concentrated on surviving and limiting his resets from the dangers around him, specifically Toriel. Then a Pacifist Frisk arrived and with Flowey's help they helped "save" all the monsters and turn the Underground back into the way it used to be by introducing true kindness and its benefits. However, throughout the adventure and especially after the Asgore fight, Flowey remembered what he had done and his role in causing this mess of a future. With this, Flowey used the human souls to turn back into Hyperangel Asriel, with the goal of resetting all the way back to the time before he killed Chara. Even though things may look better now he still believes that all the pain that he has been responsible for beforehand must be undone. But due to Frisk's determination he has to kill them first. The Pacifist Frisk player would then team up with the monsters they has previous saved to convince Asriel that everything is all OK now, and the future looks brighter than ever. And that the pain caused in the past is all over now. It doesn't matter because it is in the past, the future looks brighter now. After Frisk survives numerous waves of Asriel's attacks he starts to become convinced of the beliefs of Frisk and the others, and thus Asriel becomes "saved". Like in Undertale, he uses the human souls to open up the barrier, helping the monsters escape and thus concluding the Pacifist route of Underfell.
+Glaceon456 The reason why the Genocide and Pacifist bosses are swiched is because of how in a Pacifist run, you are going against the Underground's rule of "kill or be killed", you are instead "playing by your own rules" (think of it as kinda like Undertale Flowey). Thus, as you are pretty much rebelling against the norm, the monsters are more determined to stop you, therefore you will have to go up against the tougher Undertale Genocide bosses in Underfell Pacifist routes. With this, you will have to survive tougher waves of attacks (with less HP) in order to finally "save" the opposing boss than you would if you were trying to kill them (as that is more of the norm, they won't make a big deal about it). This is why the Pacifist route is the hardest route in Underfell. Meanwhile in a Genocide run, the monsters just identify you as one of them and so they fight fairly and respectfully with you, never quite going into full force. In fact, as a 100% flip of Undertale, at the end of a Genocide run Sans judges you with full respect for following the Underground's rule of "kill or be killed" more than any other monster he has seen and just let's you kill him, while in a Pacifist route Sans heavily criticizes you for going against the rule and fights you with full force until the Pacifist player "saves" him. Ok so I get that Asriel is a pacifist and not a genocide boss, but how can alpha flowey be a genocide boss? I don't know if it is just a fan game that implemented this, but in a genocide route, you can kill flowey before any other monster. So make of that what you will. P.S. I don't know why, but I love the fact that the glad dummy (in a genocide route) beside flowey (maybe) is the only one that tries to stop you. He is the only sane one in underfell. How ironic.
If you do a genocide route once then Chara will suggest bringing a buddy with you. (Hint that you should spare flowey on your next genocide route) and then you get to fight him.
Instead of following and helping you flowey avoids you and alerts the monsters of your genocide. At the end he fights you with save and load. As for asriel I think flowey realizes he can be better at the end of your time journeying through the underground with him after you fight asgore and spare him. Then he turns back into asriel and fights you for your soul
I personally think Undyne's theme should be called "Spear of Revenge" instead of "Spear of Agony", because when you think about it, revenge and justice are the same thing, except revenge has a more negative connotation.
oh yeah of course!! in Underfell there is never MERCY so when ever you do Genocide it acts like the Pacifist route but doing Pacifist its treated as the Genocide route
Not really. You do get a happy ending in the pacifist run but it's a lot harder than genocide or neutral and there are way more bosses ( all the ordinary ones for any route and Undynes harder and there is Sans and MTT Neo plus Asgores really quite hard in any route. Asriel wants to reset to before Chara died at the end of a Pacifist route but you save him. Sorry this was long but I like explaining Underfell to people )

I like how most of the characters that have more than 1 phase only use it on pacifist (and that flowey goes Omega Flowey mode only on genocide and goes Asriel mode on pacifist like undertale)
What's great is to get a true genocide route youd have to do it twice so flowey avoids you the second time; since hes the first person you can kill in most underfell games; and you can do the end battle. Which will be the only way you can get the souls to open the barrier. However I still feel like a true genocide would be easier than a true pacifist. Since it's going by the rule kill or be killed, I have a feeling youd have to find each and every monster and spare them to show the kindness where as in genocide all the monsters would essentially come to you and try to pick a fight because you're killing everything. Essentially the opposite message of undertale. Sometimes it's easier to do the wrong thing.

Asriel is absolutely good, but we "wants" to kill you because he wants to see chara again, so he desire to reset everything to return back to Chara and to cut it out the "kill or be killed" rule from the beginning. Then everyone dies. the end.

After seeing you kill all the monsters in the Underground, he identifies you as no better than the other monsters in the Underground he fears. He did encourage you to fight back, but never to go on a massacre and kill every lastmonsters. Thus wanting to protect the above ground from you, he uses the souls to turn into Alpha Flowey in an attempt to stop you, making him the final boss of the Genocide route.

Ok so I get that Asriel is a pacifist and not a genocide boss, but how can alpha flowey be a genocide boss? I don't know if it is just a fan game that implemented this, but in a genocide route, you can kill flowey before any other monster. So make of that what you will.
P.S. I don't know why, but I love the fact that the glad dummy (in a genocide route) beside flowey (maybe) is the only one that tries to stop you. He is the only sane one in underfell. How ironic.

Flowey is a genocide boss Because he's good and if you do genocide run he Will fight with you for save everybody,idk why asriel is a pacifist boss
If you do a genocide route once then Chara will suggest bringing a buddy with you. (Hint that you should spare flowey on your next genocide route) and then you get to fight him.
Instead of following and helping you flowey avoids you and alerts the monsters of your genocide. At the end he fights you with save and load.
As for asriel I think flowey realizes he can be better at the end of your time journeying through the underground with him after you fight asgore and spare him. Then he turns back into asriel and fights you for your soul
I personally think Undyne's theme should be called "Spear of Revenge" instead of "Spear of Agony", because when you think about it, revenge and justice are the same thing, except revenge has a more negative connotation.

oh yeah of course!! in Underfell there is never MERCY so when ever you do Genocide it acts like the Pacifist route but doing Pacifist its treated as the Genocide route
Not really. You do get a happy ending in the pacifist run but it's a lot harder than genocide or neutral and there are way more bosses ( all the ordinary ones for any route and Undynes harder and there is Sans and MTT Neo plus Asgores really quite hard in any route. Asriel wants to reset to before Chara died at the end of a Pacifist route but you save him. Sorry this was long but I like explaining Underfell to people )

What's great is to get a true genocide route youd have to do it twice so flowey avoids you the second time; since hes the first person you can kill in most underfell games; and you can do the end battle. Which will be the only way you can get the souls to open the barrier.
However I still feel like a true genocide would be easier than a true pacifist. Since it's going by the rule kill or be killed, I have a feeling youd have to find each and every monster and spare them to show the kindness where as in genocide all the monsters would essentially come to you and try to pick a fight because you're killing everything. Essentially the opposite message of undertale. Sometimes it's easier to do the wrong thing.

No, at the end, Flowey will transform to Asriel Dreemurr and to spare you, but if you contiude to attack, he'll kill you for saving everyone's hopes and dreams
+ShadowOfAres In a Genocide route, Flowey does betray Frisk. After seeing you kill all the monsters in the Underground, he identifies you as no better than the other monsters in the Underground he fears. He did encourage you to fight back, but never to go on a massacre and kill every lastmonsters. Thus wanting to protect the above ground from you, he uses the souls to turn into Alpha Flowey in an attempt to stop you, making him the final boss of the Genocide route.
He wants to stop Frisk.
