I can understand how gene feels at that last scene. I cry every time I see it because I relate to that. It’s not the same situation and I’m not overly attached like that but it’s sort of similar. as a blind person 🧑🦯 graduating soon, people are trying to help me be on my own more which I understand but I still need a lot of help with things. And they’re just rushing The process of my mom doing less for me but we both know that we’re always be with each other through it all. She has been my everything my all my life through it all. She’s lived through every situation with me. So to have her just let me go like that would feel awful. It’s so crazy how I can relate to Jean Belcher on such a deep level. He has been my favorite character since I was eight years old. Mainly because I was just like him as a child but now that I’m older it’s much deeper. He is a symbol of staying youthful even in the crazy process of adulthood. No matter how old you are always keep your youthful imagination and heart. I will always have my youthful mind heart and Gene.
Yeah they have this type of weird bond but what I see isn’t that creepy but wholesome. They have beautiful moments and Linda doesn’t seem obsessed with her gene. She is aware his son will grow up and probably when he will get out of this phase. Probably will marry someone like linda? Oh 100%. He is a mommy boy and that’s fine.
