    Miss Tayler with an E, you just did the impossible... Made me fall in love with Korea (and I didn't think that was a remote possibility). Plus, I'm not a big hiker so I appreciated you mentioning that you and your fiancé aren't experienced hikers either and Route 10 was a good trail to start on.
    From the One and Only Café at the bottom of the trail, to the urban development, to the mountains; everything was spectacular! Was that portugal juice you purchased? Portugal is a fruit native to my country Trinidad and I thought I'd spotted it in the vlog (the shop that also had coconuts).
    This vlog made me smile so thanks for that (not much to smile about these days). I look forward to when the borders are open so I can book this trip :-)
    Also, the passport with the stamps along the trail, the certificate and the medal... Yes please!

    • @taylerwithane
      @taylerwithane  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Awww I'm so glad!! Yes, I highly recommend making a trip out to Korea and Jeju once the borders open. So many beautiful places to see! And yes the trail was perfect for beginner/casual hikers. Definitely felt more like a walking tour than a hike.
      The juice we purchased I believed was fresh tangerine and hallabong juice, both native fruits to Jeju Island 😊

    • @Avionne_Parris
      @Avionne_Parris 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@taylerwithane Will definitely do that for sure! Tangerines and hallabongs look just like Portugals so I get the confusion. Thanks for the clarification :-)

    The best seasons to travel to Korea are spring and autumn.
    Spring, April, May, June, and autumn September, October, and November are the most pleasant and beautiful
    Summer in Korea is July and August, and this time is very hot and humid.
    Winter is December, January, February and March, which is very dry and cold.

      Thanks so much! 😊 I actually met most of my friends during EPIK's orientation when I first arrived in Korea. Outside of that, it is hard to meet new people, especially during these pandemic times. Other friends I've met have been through hobbies, such as dance or playing tennis.

    I have a question, when you first moved to Korea to teach, were you paid the first month there?? I’ve really been looking into it and some of the videos I’ve seen they say that you don’t get paid the first month. It might that be depending on the school or program right??
    Thank you again I absolutely love your videos!! They are very helpful

    • @taylerwithane
      @taylerwithane  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! With EPIK, you do get paid the first month, but not until the end of the month (your contract starts at the beginning of the month). That's why EPIK recommends you bring at least $1000 with you when you first arrive in Korea to get you through until your first paycheck arrives.
      And you are so welcome! I'm so glad to hear that 😊
