Chris and Casey jump calls deep into the world of their favorite 90s Horror flicks! Do any of these make YOUR list? Let us know in the comments
I forgot to add Tales From The Dark side The Movie from 1990, which I LOVE. I'll be doing a quick nugget video about the film all by itself.
Great video love seeing Casey as well my favorite 90’s SCFI/Horror movie is brainscan
Thanks for stopping by homie. Trickster for life
2:40 I used to save ticket stubs from movie theatres and keep them inside the CD jewel cases of movie scores and soundtracks I had purchased as little souvenirs. :)
Freaking love that idea!
Candyman is a superlative horror film.
I was born in '76. The 90's is a mixed bag for me. I don't hate the 90's and I don't love the 90's, but I can't deny that it had a big impact. I'm an 80's kid, but a 90's teen. Now, at age 48, if I push aside the rose-colored glasses of nostalgia, I can probably make some arguments regarding both decades, but I love the 80s, warts and all, so I don't think I can completely divorce my bias.
I'm a 77 baby and I can without a doubt say with zero hesitation, the 1980s reigns supreme. I will never forget what it was like and everything for the most part that I am today is because of that decade, that time, that learning and discovering that shaped me. As I said in the vid...I may hate the aesthetics and MOST of the pop culture of the 90s, but I had a rad time and amazing things happened to me in that decade. BUT again...the 80s will remain the KING on the silver mountain. Thanks for commenting! Check out the channel, you may find more you like!
@@WarlockHVN I think if we sat down and had a conversation, it would be interesting to see where we overlap and disagree. I have yet to actually start working on my own channel (My working schedule and upcoming move makes it hell) but still have plans to do so.
I haven't had time to fully watch the video, but one of the early points I think we'd disagree with is with the first move, Scream. It's hard for me to say that it trampled on what came before it with Wes Craven sitting in the director's chair. I loved that it pointed out the clichés of older horror movies. As a horror movie, I'm not in love with the movie, but at the same time I respect it for what it is. I think I stopped watching after the second movie.
That said, you did turn me on to check out a few titles. I remember renting some of the Full Moon productions off the video rental shelves back in the 90s, and when I actually have the time to do so, I hope to revisit some and see quite a few I missed, including Castle Freak? How can you go wrong with Jeffrey Combs and Barbara Crampton?
Anyway, made it about halfway through. There's a lot what was brought up that I definitely remember and enjoyed. I watched both Tales from the Crypt movies in the theater and loved them. Perhaps at some point I should go back and create my own list.
@@RonJDuncan get shudder, castle freak is still available hosted by Joe Bob Briggs...haven't seen the castle freak remake yet though
Oh. I am a fan of the first Warlock movie. I liked Warlock: Armageddon, but not as much as the first one.
Awesome content!

Great video. I am at the Army of Darkness as I type this. I love/like most of the movies listed. I am not a fan of Blade or Dracula. I prefer the Buffy The Vampire Slayer movie and despise the series that coincides with the dislike of the Scream movies and those that came after that Chris stated. I am also not a fan of Interview With A Vampire. I enjoy the Full Moon/Charles Band Vampire Journal movie much more. Interview was too artsy for me which bored me to tears. I may comment later after watching the whole video.
Thanks for checking out the vid
