Fizz in Ozzies for me is not Fizz, but his current act. Everyone expects him to be this way. EP6 & 7 is when we see the real Fizz, without anything to Play as.
To go deeper here, Blitzø is a protector but it seems no one protected or supported him as strongly as his mother. From what we saw so far his father was a con man and didn't care for him, and Blitzø having a super negative view of himself seems to root in that relationship with his father probably saying he was not good enough and a constant comparison with Fizzarolli. The man gave another kid a "I hope you were my son" card, and we see Blitzø struggling with opposite feelings of love and hate or jealousy towards Fizz. Everything was an accident of some seconds and Blitzø being angry, which seems an emotion he still have issues with because he's constantly frustrated and struggling, so he let's anger take over everything else (like sadness or vulnerability). That accident killed his mother who he loved and supported him, probably guided him to navigate his insecurities and these feelings... and he belw up his crush and best friend who he always protected, and his father convinced him Fizz didn't want to see him ever again. At the same time, he lost his relationship with his sister, they're twins so that probably runs deep. So Blitzø had few people to make him feel enough and not a failure like his father convinced him he was. And these people died or blamed him entirely for an accident. A detrimental thing here is NO ONE said to Blitzø "it was not your fault" so far in the show. His mom is dead, his farher trash, Barbie cut him out and blamed him, and Fizz forgave him but accepted his words when he sais "it was an accident.... but it was still my fault". And it was not, he didn't do anything on purpose, and it was a big event to put all blame on the shoulders of a teenager.

But as you mentioned, Stolas-while trying to move the relationship to a more correct footing-still has a lot of his OWN issues he's unwittingly bringing to the table, and unless HE works through those in the same way that Blitz has to do with his, their relationship is doomed to fail. fizz Very Quickly became my favourite character once the show started playing w his character more. it's like they threw all the character things i love in 1 big blender and then cast alex brightman to play him, it's amazing - and he n ozzie are a nice break from stolitz's drama :]

It might be a good time to issue a warning about possible overwhelming emotions in Just Look My Way, Full Moon, Apology Tour, and probably the rest of the season. It has been a week and I am not sure I have fully recovered from Apology Tour.
If you listen carefully during the flashback, you'll notice that Fizz doesn't have the croaky sound in his voice. This along with the fact he knows sign language inspired the idea that after the accident, Fizz briefly lost his voice and when it came back, it sounds the way it does now
Not only that, with his horns gone, he basically lost (or severely damaged) his ears, so he had to focus on ASL.... or I guess we could call it HSL, until he learned how to adequately compensate to his new senses.
You guys know he also lost his arms, right? Sometimes people just learn sign language because it's a great language to know, it doesn't have to be something you're forced to learn because of a tragic backstory.

Blitzø is a FASCINATING character (and unfortunately way too relatable) to me, but as much as I cringe at seeing the bad parts of me in him he has so much good in there too - he cares SO much for everybody in his life, he's constantly looking out for and protecting them. He'll always put himself in front in dangerous situations, and even though he's illiterate he's very street smart and can read people extremely well. I recently watched back exes and oohs and if you only pay attention to Blitzø instead of Moxxie I noticed that he is on high alert as soon as they enter Crim's place! He doesn't eat until he sees them eating, looks weirded out at the drink Crim gives him and takes one pretend sip then never touches it again, ect. I think he intended to sleep with Chaz all along just to get info out of him. The animators are VERY deliberate with his actions Vs his dialogue. He's always saying something and thinking something else. Such a cool character to study!

i think this episode heavily hints at Imp horns being related to their hearing, Fizz has 1 half and maybe around 1/3 1/4 horns, so he is likely not deaf but very hard of hearing (enough to warrant him learning sign) while Oliver (Fizz's imp fan) seems to be almost completely missing one horn and hardly has any of the other so is very likely almost completely deaf if the theory holds

Hearing how much you care for and analyze the good in Blitzø makes me so happy! He’s such a good guy with such a complicated past and trauma out the wazzoo, and my hubby and I relate to several of these characters so much. We love Vivzie for creating this world of relatability.

The series hasn't taken us there yet, but the fanbase speculates that it's mostly ocean, given that Leviathan is usually depicted as a gigantic sea monster. Anyway, if it's bioluminescent and looks like a weird deep-sea lifeform, it may be from Envy. Assuming that Blitzø's math is correct ("the nearest ocean is three rings down" from Pride), then Greed has an ocean also, which may explain why Greed is heavily populated by shark demons.
With all his robotics given by Mammon, he does owe him, initially but considering Ozzie’s factories build the robotics now he can continue, nor would he really lose anything if he has Ozzie anyway. But yes now that we have Fizz’s happy ending, something has to act as a very sad counter to balance things back to equilibrium
Fizz is my favorite character, and this is my favorite episode. You can see that Blitzø clocked on to how similar Mammon was to Cash, in all the worst ways. A headcanon I’ve adopted- Blitzø took the Glam Sisters’ presence/act/etc personally because he’s a twin himself, and he probably had a similar act with Barbie. Or maybe he and Fizz did a mirror act for a while, with the way Fizz did a belated mirror hand on the hip after Blitzø said their act “ain’t cute”. Fizz is soooooo cute with the little deaf kid. Viv named the kid Oliver at a con panel. And I don’t think don’t think Fizz learned ASL as a direct result of hearing/voice loss (someone else has been pointing out in the comments that he didn’t have the necessary limbs at the time to learn). However, his struggles could have inspired him to learn once he had the prosthetics so he could better connect with others with disabilities even though he didn’t strictly need it anymore. I imagine it would have also been helpful in learning how to use the prosthetics too. (Plus Oz used the sign for “phone” when requesting that Fizz keep his phone on him last episode, so maybe he does have partial hearing loss?) And the Glam Sisters are such a fun subtle pun. They’re clowns who happen to be fish… 😂 “2 Minutes Notice” is such an amazing song. And in the second chorus when Fizz is twirling the fire baton, Asmodeus’ seal replaces Mammon’s on the curtains. And I love the timing on showing Blitzø on the word “apologize”. It’s too late for Mammon to apologize, but it hadn’t been too late for Blitzø. Oz and Fizz are so cute together!! Oz gave the perfect amount of support in that final confrontation. And I find it funny that he was too tall to fit on stage, so he had to crouch down. Also I love how Oz didn’t speak for Fizz’s feelings, even though he knows them. He just said that HE loves FIZZ. (And the subtitles at that point call the crowd’s reaction “intense fangirling”. 😂) And I personally think Oz was amused by the “who tops” question. 😂 it really seems like he and Blitzø could be friends too, which is a good thing with the way Fizz and Blitzø seem to be mending their friendship. And to expand on your protective Blitzø thoughts… Blitzø protects everyone, but who protects Blitzø? 🤔
I think that Blitz would be incredibly surprised by the number of people who would stand between him and danger, if it came down to it. Even if they're people he's screwed over in the past. But he doesn't see himself as a person worth protecting, so how would he know? But they'd be there ;;;;; I love your headcanon about Glitz and Glam being twins so much!

I guess it depends on how much autonomy the sins have over their own nature versus how much is simply their role in Hell. Like Lucifer (who is definitely different as a fallen angel but still a sin) doesn’t embody a lot of traditional ‘prideful’ aspects, despite being the representation for it. So how much of a sin is dictated by who they are born to be? Mammon could possibly be less of greedy fcker but has instead embraced it, where Asmodeous might be able to distance himself from lust and make decisions not based on his nature. I’m curious now as to how much actual autonomy the sins have!!

You may be right that he might not have full control, but it seems interesting that his factory makes products modeled after others, I get the favoritism to fizz but wouldn’t that strike a sour cord if one promotes other individuals but privatizes one? That may be hard to follow

(The lustful in Dante were caught in a perpetual whirlwind with their lovers punished by the unending storm which def reads lust for one specific person as opposed to general sexual desire for all things and we know Dante was an inspiration.) but we don’t really know enough about how the sins work specifically, or how Hell as we know it was created out of the dark pit Lucifer and Lilith caused, what made the rings and the sins and the hellborn etc etc. It’s interesting to think about though!

Hearing how much you care for and analyze the good in Blitzø makes me so happy! He’s such a good guy with such a complicated past and trauma out the wazzoo, and my hubby and I relate to several of these characters so much. We love Vivzie for creating this world of relatability.

Last comment, it’s too bad we didn’t get a full king scuffle, although why is Mammon way bigger than Ozzie in full demon form, I mean, the electro spider is a good deal bigger than the flame chicken, so maybe the fight would’ve been too one sided, just puzzling, or time constraints.

Probably from the Envy ring, ruled by Leviathan. The series hasn't taken us there yet, but the fanbase speculates that it's mostly ocean, given that Leviathan is usually depicted as a gigantic sea monster. Anyway, if it's bioluminescent and looks like a weird deep-sea lifeform, it may be from Envy.
Assuming that Blitzø's math is correct ("the nearest ocean is three rings down" from Pride), then Greed has an ocean also, which may explain why Greed is heavily populated by shark demons.
With all his robotics given by Mammon, he does owe him, initially but considering Ozzie’s factories build the robotics now he can continue, nor would he really lose anything if he has Ozzie anyway. But yes now that we have Fizz’s happy ending, something has to act as a very sad counter to balance things back to equilibrium

Fizz is my favorite character, and this is my favorite episode.
You can see that Blitzø clocked on to how similar Mammon was to Cash, in all the worst ways.
A headcanon I’ve adopted- Blitzø took the Glam Sisters’ presence/act/etc personally because he’s a twin himself, and he probably had a similar act with Barbie. Or maybe he and Fizz did a mirror act for a while, with the way Fizz did a belated mirror hand on the hip after Blitzø said their act “ain’t cute”.
Fizz is soooooo cute with the little deaf kid. Viv named the kid Oliver at a con panel. And I don’t think don’t think Fizz learned ASL as a direct result of hearing/voice loss (someone else has been pointing out in the comments that he didn’t have the necessary limbs at the time to learn). However, his struggles could have inspired him to learn once he had the prosthetics so he could better connect with others with disabilities even though he didn’t strictly need it anymore. I imagine it would have also been helpful in learning how to use the prosthetics too. (Plus Oz used the sign for “phone” when requesting that Fizz keep his phone on him last episode, so maybe he does have partial hearing loss?)
And the Glam Sisters are such a fun subtle pun. They’re clowns who happen to be fish… 😂
“2 Minutes Notice” is such an amazing song. And in the second chorus when Fizz is twirling the fire baton, Asmodeus’ seal replaces Mammon’s on the curtains. And I love the timing on showing Blitzø on the word “apologize”. It’s too late for Mammon to apologize, but it hadn’t been too late for Blitzø.
Oz and Fizz are so cute together!! Oz gave the perfect amount of support in that final confrontation. And I find it funny that he was too tall to fit on stage, so he had to crouch down. Also I love how Oz didn’t speak for Fizz’s feelings, even though he knows them. He just said that HE loves FIZZ. (And the subtitles at that point call the crowd’s reaction “intense fangirling”. 😂)
And I personally think Oz was amused by the “who tops” question. 😂 it really seems like he and Blitzø could be friends too, which is a good thing with the way Fizz and Blitzø seem to be mending their friendship.
And to expand on your protective Blitzø thoughts… Blitzø protects everyone, but who protects Blitzø? 🤔
I think that Blitz would be incredibly surprised by the number of people who would stand between him and danger, if it came down to it. Even if they're people he's screwed over in the past. But he doesn't see himself as a person worth protecting, so how would he know? But they'd be there ;;;;;

@@kyratries Well, we do already have one canonical instance of someone protecting Blitzø, that I was trying to be a bit coy about (Stolas in Truth Seekers). lol Blitzø really does need to gain some self-worth, though…
Side point, how can the KING of lust be upset with something lustful, like the Fizzies, that goes against his entire ring, why does that make any sense?
Because Ozzie is a fierce defender of consent (as we saw in Oops) and Fizzie is being sexually exploited by having his body turned into dolls for people's sexual pleasure

I guess it depends on how much autonomy the sins have over their own nature versus how much is simply their role in Hell. Like Lucifer (who is definitely different as a fallen angel but still a sin) doesn’t embody a lot of traditional ‘prideful’ aspects, despite being the representation for it. So how much of a sin is dictated by who they are born to be? Mammon could possibly be less of greedy fcker but has instead embraced it, where Asmodeous might be able to distance himself from lust and make decisions not based on his nature. I’m curious now as to how much actual autonomy the sins have!!
@@kyratriesI could be reading it wrong but wi everything else we have seen his subordinates make, it’s interesting that in episode 6 he said lust isn’t about force, it seems like a good amount of his realm is in direct contrast to his view. You may be right that he might not have full control, but it seems interesting that his factory makes products modeled after others, I get the favoritism to fizz but wouldn’t that strike a sour cord if one promotes other individuals but privatizes one? That may be hard to follow
@@zing9375 no I think I get it. It might work because Ozzie is prioritizing /his/ lust and lust is allowed to be selfish and cause selfish behavior. (The lustful in Dante were caught in a perpetual whirlwind with their lovers punished by the unending storm which def reads lust for one specific person as opposed to general sexual desire for all things and we know Dante was an inspiration.) but we don’t really know enough about how the sins work specifically, or how Hell as we know it was created out of the dark pit Lucifer and Lilith caused, what made the rings and the sins and the hellborn etc etc. It’s interesting to think about though!
I’m glad Fizz quit when he did because they slayed tf out of that and left no crumbs for him.
