💀 Hey Skeleton Crew! Let us know which song has the most , which song has the most , and drop the time code of your favorite licks! Oh, and say hi to if you see him ;)
I'm using this bass since more than 13 years. I bought it in a music store in Hannover, Germany...comparing with a Fender P bass a Music Man Stingray. I never regretted my decision. This instrument is a reliable rock machine since over a decade for me. Thank you for the video.
Thats the best $$ review I have seen so far. I especially like the switching between DI and processed sound. Very well done! I am impressed how well this bass sits in the mix.
I was thinking that it would sound too much modern, but with a lit bit of knowledge on how to adjust, it's possible to play whatever thing with it. Nice!
These are genuinely some of the most fantastic tones I've heard from a Warwick. I really didn't think I needed one till now. Adding it to the list of many 🥲
I've been meaning to get a 5 string Active such as a Warwick or Spector. Only problem is im a lefty so my options are so limited haha! One thing is I CANNOT stand when the headstock is black with no finish! Other than that, it seems like an awesome bass.
Awesome demo, jayme. 😎🤘🏻🎸I actually like this bass. It’s got a thick, chunky, punchy tone. Especially since this bass has 2 music man styled pickups which gives it that incredible sound. I would totally get a 5-string version of this bass. The rock bass version also sounds killer. I would get that too.
I remember why I sold my Corvette…the Stage 2 and my 2014 Fortress are far better totally IMO, and the first fret reach on these kill my carpal tunnel. Love the video and all your content. Great playing.
This kind of slap sound is a trademark of goodfather of heavy funk , Mr T.M.Stevens.and his warwick basses..God bless him....he is going to hard times right now.....and ,what coincidence..I got to sell exactly this bass in natural colour , based in the south of germany ...if you based right here nearby Freiburg, check it out !
thanks! i agree, music is subjective. but i hope that what really comes across - more than just how musical opinions vary - is that what works by itself may not work in the context of the rest of the ensemble, regardless of whether or not the instrument sounds better or worse. being a team player sometimes means doing things you don't like, but it also makes room for another element within the song to shine. such is the plight of the bassist haha
@@deadbeatstudios True words mister Lewis. I do really enjoy these videos, not many like this on the net. Is interesting how some weird sounds I would never think to use for so well in the song/mix. Cheers

Was spielst für Musik?
Und wie ist die Bundverarbeitung?
I'm at 15 years now. No need for something else, my backup bass is a Jackson Spectra Pro.
I have a 6 string $$ and I love it!!! I also have a 5 string Corvette standard. Warwick makes some killer basses.

I'd definitely have appreciated a matching headstock for this bass
You can order a lefty with all the features as right-handed. I just received a 5 lefty with the features.
You always do a awesome job 😉 I love what you're doing
The Spectors are amazing too.. hard to find but a really nice bass.
Be great to see ZON Bass demo🤟
I prefer the older Corvette std sound, the bubinga one is the one I have and it sounds awesome!
I don't think you can go wrong with a Warwick. Even the Rockbasses are pretty good 👍

I like the song of Warwick. I'm only familiar with Dirk from Incubus and his work afterwards. Warwick has such a rich, thick tone.
zZounds Rocks!!
i'm a fan :)

These videos show how subjective music is. Often I like the direct sound more than the processed.

I guess that means I need a nice expensive DI
Can this bass play heavy metal?
Holy Grooooves
I think a good pbass would have served all tracks better with less processing

Dude Drop C? Really sounds like Shit!
How about standard tuning?
Or are you afraid it won’t be up to par?
All of the other examples were in standard tuning...
@@deadbeatstudios I guess he told you. 😁
