- I finally returned to work as a flight attendant after an 18 month leave of absence! I'm pumped to share my excitement for returning to a job I love! Tag along on my first trip back- a full 6 days of reserve & see what it is like to explore some cities solo on my layovers. I also share some of my favorite sustainable flight attendant things that I find useful for my trips.

2:44 I stopped using the room occupied signs after the 2008 Taj Mahal Palace Mumbai hotel attacks. Supposedly the terrorists knew which rooms were occupied by the signs on the doors.

How are you handling your commute these days with Japan’s rather strict entry rules? Hope it’s not too stressful.
thank you! it's been a challenge, but since I just went back to work I haven't had to make the commute a ton yet. as the next month approaches I might be in a pickle returning home in Jan, but I just have to continue to wait & see as restrictions/rules keep changing! 😅

I live in Vancouver Canada, and as of today, Jan 1 2022, all coffee shops (including mine) are implementing a 50 cent disposable cup fee. Same with paper bags but those are a 25 cent fee.
I love that! I've always wanted to go to Vancouver! I wish every city would implement something like this 🙌
And yeah the senior mamas always tell me the story on why they don’t put the do not disturb sign
I feel like I get woken up MUCH less when the sign is on the door, so for now the plan is to keep using it, but make sure I use all the locks! lol

watches are required and you do need to purchase one yourself. I actually thrifted mine!
