GOHAN!!! Ah man! I know all these episodes by heart. I've been re-watching them throughout my life so many times!
This definitely takes me back to the amount of times I played the Orange Brick DVD of these episodes (184-188) as a kid
I always get a kick out of the reaction when they hear the narrator. That's how I felt 20 something years ago when this was on Cartoon Network, especially when it was the season finale and they would replay the entire season over and over for half a year until finally moving on to the new episodes.
Seriously. It was the worst feeling ever going from watching Goku vs Frieza one day, to Goku vs Raditz the next. Shit used to make me so mad. 😂

Gohan vs. Cell is my favorite DBZ fight. SSJ2 Gohan is just so badass, he literally destroyed Perfect Cell at full power with only two punches! Can’t wait for the upcoming episodes, especially the next one and episode 191 …
This episode aired just one day before I was born.
Fun fact,in a guide book it states gohan had a rage boost along with a new form,that’s why he’s soo much stronger then anyone here

It's crazy how much more sayian dominant cell has become as he has transformed, Imperfect cell knew better then to fight someone who He couldn't beat using manipulation and tactics to try and best piccolo, and still ended up having to retreat to fight another day. Perfect Cell was so bored and so blinded by his own power he couldn't tell the difference between himself and Gohan. He's very much like namek saga vegeta in this regard. Vegeta stayed lowed and didn't dare fight zarbon and dodoria together or get frieza on his tail, even whilst powering up he knew he couldnt beat any of the ginyu force either, but as his powers grew he got more cocky; even around frieza who he never dreamed of fighting equally with, but after that final zenkai dende gave him, he was so sure of his "ssj" status he couldn't tell that final form frieza was miles stronger then him, ofcourse vegeta and frieza were so transcendent at that point piccilo, gohan, and krillin couldnt tell who was stronger between vegeta and frieza either, until frieza actually retaliated. It seems to be about the same gap here, Cell and Gohan are so much stronger then any z fighter no body could tell just how much stronger gohan is then cell, and cell was sure his true power would give him a decisive edge only to learn just as Vegeta did on namek that Gohan is much stronger then he is.

From 4:14 - I could honestly say that the colliding solid punches and kicks thrown/given away by Cell and Super Saiyan Gohan were unique, uncomparable & the one and only in the entire Dragonball Z series because "WE", all of us, as fans and viewers of DBZ, can actually feel the PRESSURE & INTENSITY from them while watching it...
11:30 it just dawned on me that Cell just did what Vegeta did with the Super Vegeta, and then in the next episode he pulls a Trunks
The next episode is my faviourate between Gohan and Cell this one is good but it's kinda stretched out however it's still a cool episode

Piccolo and trunks have not. Vegeta could've easily gone grade 3 is he wanted. He chose not to. Trunks never surpassed him.
