Dude please give me solution why emissive material is not working on android bloom is turned on and I multiply emissive intencity by 180 but it just show Base colour and nothing
@@cpubug Not sure, process of elimination. Delete the material and remake it. Turn on mobile previewer or whatever its called, next to where you set engine scalabilty settings. Check your mobile rendering settings, test on a different device. Finally give up and use a spot light or somehting.
I have tried to reduce the size of the example "Third person" in Android Platform, but it has not been possible to go below 239MB, even with an empty scene. There's something I'm not doing right, but I don't know what it is.
@@srhrs2744 yes I fix it, the problem was all the Plugins inside of UE4 that are activated. but is not easy disconnect all the plugins, because some of them are essentials like Android Plugin and others you will use for make the game. If you leave just the essentials you need it, you will have around 50-60 mb apk 👍
@@srhrs2744 I disable all before do the project. So I start the project (blank project) with the plugins disable. Remember, you can NOT disable all the plugins, a few of them you need it for Android Project 👌
@@pacocarrion7869 okay, I understood so the size depends of all plugins not only ones included in the cooked folder. Thank so much for your reply, I hope to solve too 🤞
I am getting this issue when i am packaging the archviz project for android --> OBB may have exceeded 2 GiB limit ue4. Can we package the android project larger then 6gb ?
There is no limit to how big the package can be. But you can only upload 5 gb to Google Play. It used to be 2 gb a while ago, this is why you get that error. Since this comment 8 months old, i guess you figured that out, but someone else reading this might find it useful.

Props to you sir. It didn't even occur to me that plugins would be taking up space. My APK went from 115MB to 50MB. Thank you!
Anytime :)
4:50 hi
I have a question
I have a lot of lights and when I put zero there they all go off
What should I do ?
When I package the game for Android the docs unreal engine website opens
That is because you haven't setup you development env. for android packaging.
This helped a lot. Reduced my apk and OBB by a lot.
What's your game's name?
@@deltajones3247 Beach Bounce and it's available on Google Play.

That's usually down to your material type/ shading model. Make sure you are using default lit

woo dude thats way too big, i recommend you try to optimize your project way further, bring it to under 2GB
You can still change it.Go to project settings and click allow large obb files.
