He’s so right about the tax system, right now I’m paying more than 35% of tax every year and in return I am getting zero service. I cannot visit the sarkari hospital, I cannot make my kids study in government schools, I have to pay toll tax every time I go out, on top of that every other product that I buy I have to pay GST. Believe me the tax system in India is very very harassing.

Very rightly said about taxes. Tax slabs has not been revised since 2014. Inflation has gone up sharply, and rupee value has declined constantly. Still government has not increased 2.5 lac tax slab till this year. Only middle-class people will suffer the most due to this.

I live in chhattisgarh and this tale is from my real life incident. I am a school student and I occasionally talk with van driver of van through which I go to school. One day, he was telling me solutions govt should work on. Things were going well until he said " sarkar ko kuchh system bana chahiye ameero se Paisa leke jrurat mand ko daan Dene ke liye" and I said " Tax to leti hai" then again he said " aah wo theek hai lekin uske alawa bhi" I said in my head "Tera dhan ka Paisa sarkar ke paas inhi logo se ata hai" pardon for not respecting my elder but that's really anyone would think.
This guy is so straight forward and simple that all those dinosaurs sitting there are sensing their extinction.

53:20 He is suggesting to collect 20% fix rate income tax with no slab. Means a person earning say 3 Lakh needs to pay 60k tax. While a person earning 1crore will pay only 20 lakh tax. It will be difficult for a person to run his family with 2.4 lakhs. Moreover India is a socio economic country.
Ashneer Gover making people fool to get popularity. One can check what is the tax rate in USA it is 37% for individual tax payers while in India it is 30%+Surcharge+cess.

Ashneer is right in tax scheme. With 20% flat rate , 13- 15% more money will come in circulation, which will multiplier effect and more people will come in tax net.
With 20% flat rate there will be no incentive for people earning under Rs 10,00,000. They would rather prefer not working in organised sectors. If a person earns less he has to pay major proportion in expenses and the remaining he'll lose in taxes which will leave him at a 0 savings. So, he would try to evade taxes and also now the big companies who use to pay 40% will pay 20%. Ultimately everyone will in total pay less tax.

The matter of Tax system in India Ashneer have highlighted in this show is need to be taken seriously and I can feel the pain. Businessman's are the one who are boosting our economy and running our country and not even our country but feeding crores of people in India by giving them jobs and all. Govt should take some initiative to relieve their pain and give them some tax rebate . I think 15% tax in India flat for anyone earning above 7 Lakh per year is good start and everyone have to pay.

@@amitr4385I think he just wants to avoid paying taxes (although everyone tries to). Simply by stating the rates one pays as Income Tax isn't the solution. There are thorough planning and rules and regulations with EXEMPTION LIMITS for people of each age group. Deductions, Allowance, and much more... It differs from the occupation of people, their source of income..

he is qualified from IIT Delhi and IIT Ahmedabad ( Govt. funded organisation, may be now he don't send his children to govt. school and i don't why the rich person paid tax before him to give a seat to ashneer). You can check the drastic change in fees of IITs and way too high fees of IIM in last years why this happened google it and what I think is there should be reduction in income tax a bit more and tolls should be below 80 as population is huge. Either way the burden is on middle class only as businesses evade taxes and common people have to pay most of the GST for goods and services
